The park got its current name in 1997. A sculpture by German artist Rainer Fetting depicting Willy Brandt has been erected in the park and was unveiled on June 14, 2007.

The station was inaugurated on 17 April 1958 as the east terminus of a one-station extension from Skärmarbrink. On 18 November 1958 an extension to Bagarmossen was opened. The distance to Slussen is 3.8 km (2.4 mi). The station is located above ground and has two entrances. The north entrance is located near Finn Malmgrens Plan. The south entrance is accessed from Ulricehamnsvägen. The decoration of the station is the smallest of the metro system: A 30x40 cm brick embossment depicting a goat.

Sickla kanalbro (Swedish: "Sickla Canal Bridge") is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching over Sickla kanal ("Canal of Sickla"), it connects Södra Hammarbyhamnen to Nacka. The name Sickla is believed to be derived from a 15th-century provincial word, sik, meaning "minor marsh".A product of post-WW2 traffic loads, the bridge was built 1954-1955 as a continuous steel girder bridge resting on four supports and carrying a concrete roadway. 60 metres long and 10,3 metres wide, the bridge passes over three spans with a maximum span of 23 metres and an average horizontal clearance over the canal of 4,6 metres. The supports are built on a foundation of concrete poles, while the abutments are resting directly on the bedrock. The bridge was originally built with a future widening in mind, something which had to wait until 1979 when a 2,6 metres wide cantilevering pathway was added on the south side of the roadway.

Bagarmossen metro station is on the green line of the Stockholm metro, located in Bagarmossen, Söderort in the south of Stockholm. The surface station was opened on 18 November 1958 as the southern terminus of the extension from Hammarbyhöjden. On 15 August 1994, the line was extended further to Skarpnäck.The current station is 19 metres (62 ft) below ground level and was opened on 15 August 1994 as the extension to Skarpnäck was taken into service and Bagarmossen no longer served as a terminus. The old surface-level station with the same name was in use between 18 November 1958 and 8 July 1994. After the surface level station closed, a number of residential buildings were constructed on the site of the station and its approaches.
