Pymmes Park is located in Edmonton, London and is bordered by the North Circular Road. The park is a Metropolitan Open Space, Local Importance of Nature Conservation, and a site of Archaeological Importance.

Pymmes House was a house built by William Pymme in 1327 in what is now Pymmes Park, in Edmonton, London. It had a succession of notable owners, particularly in the Elizabethan period and was remodelled and rebuilt several times. It was demolished after a fire in 1940.

Silver Street is a London Overground station on the Lea Valley lines located in Edmonton in the London Borough of Enfield, north London. It is 7 miles 75 chains (12.8 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between White Hart Lane and Edmonton Green. Its three-letter station code is SLV and it is in Travelcard zone 4.

North Middlesex University Hospital, known locally as North Mid, is a district general hospital in Edmonton in the London Borough of Enfield. The hospital is managed by North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust.

The Alcazar, also known as the Alcazar Cinematograph Theatre, was an entertainment venue in Fore Street, Edmonton in London. The building was destroyed during World War II.The Alcazar opened in 1913 with the film The Battle of Waterloo. In addition to being a cinema, the Alcazar hosted concerts, roller skating, boxing, and wrestling. It could seat 1,700 people and had a separate dance hall and summer and winter gardens. It had a Moorish style front with balcony and verandah. The Alcazar was renovated in 1933 and sound added to the cinema.The Alcazar was badly damaged by bombings in 1940 and 1944. The remains were demolished and the site redeveloped in the 1960s. A mosaic in nearby Moree Way created by Art Start and local schoolchildren commemorates the Alcazar.

The Edmonton air crash occurred on 4 September 1938. A Hawker Audax (serial number K7381) of No. 1 Elementary and Reserve Flying Training School, Royal Air Force, based at Hatfield, crashed into a residential area in Edmonton, Middlesex (now Greater London). The aircraft was being flown by a 19-year-old pilot, Sgt Stanley Robert Morris RAFVR. The pilot and 12 people on the ground were killed, including four children.

Little Russia was an area of Tottenham, London, England. It was on the straight northern boundary of the London Borough of Haringey, specifically adjoining Edmonton, mainly comprising Pretoria Road, Durban Road, and Lorenco Road (west of the railway line between Silver Street and White Hart Lane). The area had become known as "Little Russia" in the early 20th century due to the influx of Russian immigrants. Immigration peaked when a large number of Russians settled there after fleeing the 1917 Russian Revolution. It developed into one of the toughest areas of North London, and the local constabulary usually only policed the area in pairs. The area was mostly redeveloped in the 1970s.

Upper Edmonton is the southern part of Edmonton, North London within the London Borough of Enfield. The main shopping area of Upper Edmonton on Fore Street is often referred to as "The Angel" by locals in reference to the former Angel public house that was demolished in 1968 to make improvements to the North Circular Road. The area borders Lower Edmonton to the north and Tottenham to the south, and is the location of North Middlesex University Hospital. Increased levels of immigration in recent years has led to the area becoming ethnically and culturally diverse, with local businesses and places of worship reflecting the area's diversity. Upper Edmonton is the location of the Meridian Water regeneration programme on a 210-acre site adjacent to the North Circular Road and Lea Valley, containing the Ravenside Retail Park and the large IKEA Edmonton store. The area is served by Silver Street and Meridian Water railway stations, with Angel Road having closed in 2019. Edmonton Green and White Hart Lane stations are to the north and south of the area respectively.

Millfield Theatre forms part of Millfield Arts Centre, which encompasses Millfield Theatre and Millfield House in Edmonton, and The Dugdale Centre in Enfield Town. The theatre is owned, managed and funded entirely by London Borough of Enfield. It has 17 full-time staff working on site at the theatre, and employs many more casual staff. Ushers at the theatre are all volunteers. The 18th Century Millfield House houses the theatre's administration and contains rooms which are available for hire, and also plays host to a number of educational classes and workshops for children and adults.

Millfield House is a Grade II* listed building located in Silver Street, Edmonton, London. Previously a private house, it has been used as an arts centre since 1979.

Haringey Sixth Form College (previously Haringey Sixth Form Centre) is a mixed sex sixth form college located in the Tottenham area of the London Borough of Haringey, United Kingdom.The college offers a range of vocational programmes of study including BTECs, and a small number of A-level courses, for students aged 16–19. It also provides teaching of English as an additional language to non-English speaking students aged 14–16 who have been excluded from secondary school. As of 2020, the college has a 'Requires improvement' rating from the statutory inspectorate, Ofsted.
