Pacaembu Stadium

The Football Museum (pt: Museu do Futebol) is a space in the city of São Paulo, Brazil dedicated to the most different subjects involving the practice, history and curiosities revolving around football in Brazil and in the world. This cultural space was built inside Pacaembu Stadium, located at Charles Miller Square in the Pacaembu neighborhood, on the west side of the city. The work was carried out by a consortium formed by the municipality and the São Paulo state government and inaugurated in September 29, 2008, with the presence of Pelé. From one of the exhibition rooms it is possible to admire the lawn of the stadium from above. In the museum, visitors have the opportunity to understand how a sport of English origin, practiced by white members of the elite, gradually became a sport characteristic of all Brazil by adhering mestizo and popular traits of the Brazilian culture.The museum tells the history of football from its beginning until the present days and its relations with arts and the life of people. Visitors have access to didactic and illustrative information on the sport and to interactive visual and sound experiences.

Consolação (Portuguese pronunciation: [kõsolaˈsɐ̃w]) is a district in the Central Zone of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It belongs to the subprefecture of Sé. The district is largely residential, and contains many large apartment buildings and condominiums. It is also known for its prominent cultural institutions. The region has been populated since the 16th century, and is known for its buildings in the style of São Paulo Modern Architecture.

FAAP (Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation) was founded in 1947 by Earl Armando Alvares Penteado, whose objective was to support, promote and develop the plastic and scenic arts, culture and teaching. It is one of the most prestigious and respected academic institutions in Brazil, with 12 thousand students and 1200 professors. The Campus is located in Higienópolis, one of the most traditional districts of São Paulo, and houses 7 Faculties: Business Administration, Fine Arts, Communication, Engineering, Economics, Law and Technology, post-graduation courses and MBA. The foundation is an important cultural centre in São Paulo, housing one of the most eminent theaters in town (Teatro FAAP) and the Museu de Arte Brasileira (Museum of Brazilian Art). FAAP has received important exhibits, most notably the exhibit "China: A Arte Imperial, A Arte do Cotidiano, A Arte Contemporânea", the "Treasures of the Czars" display (including some of the famous Fabergé eggs), and in 2011 an exhibit on Grace Kelly, "Os Anos Grace Kelly" (Grace Kelly Era), inaugurated by Prince Albert of Monaco. Every semester the institution provides lectures from notable artists, politicians and economists. Notable guest speakers include George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Gordon Brown, Queen Silvia of Sweden, Rubens Ricupero (also Director Faculty of Economics), Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Peter Mandelson, among others.

Marechal Cordeiro de Farias Square (Portuguese: Praça Marechal Cordeiro de Farias) is a square located in the Higienópolis neighborhood of the district of Consolação, São Paulo, Brazil. It begins at the terminus of Paulista Avenue, and has corners on Minas Gerais, Itápolis avenues and Angelica street. The square is named after the Marshal Osvaldo Cordeiro de Farias (1901-1981), a Brazilian revolutionary, politician, and former governor of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. Marechal Cordeiro de Farias Square is also known as the "Square of Arches" (Praça dos Arcos) due to the sculpture of Lilian Amaral and Jorge Bassani titled Arcos ou Caminho. It consists of twelve rainbow-colored arches from which the public can enter and exit. The work was commissioned to celebrate the centenary of Paulista Avenue in December 1991. The square has a bicycle parking facility and is noted as a terminus of the emerging bicycle routes of São Paulo.

The Maria Helena Mendes de Barros Saad Tower, more commonly known as Torre da TV Bandeirantes, or Torre da Band, is a television and radio lattice tower located in the district of Consolação, near the Avenida Paulista in São Paulo, Brazil. Owned by the Brazilian media company Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação, the tower is 212 m (696 ft) high, making it the tallest tower in São Paulo and one of the tallest towers in Latin America. Its name is in honor of the wife of the founder of Rede Bandeirantes, João Saad.

Institute of Cancer of São Paulo or Hospital do Câncer de São Paulo is located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Is the largest hospital of cancer of Brazil and Latin America. Founded in 2008, the institute has 580 beds, 19 elevators (21 persons each), 28 floors, 120 medical consulting rooms, 1.3 thousand surgeries/month, 6 thousand sessions of chemotherapy/month, 420 sessions of radiotherapy/month.

Clínicas is a station on Line 2 (Green) of the São Paulo Metro. The station is connected to the main complex of the Hospital das Clínicas.

Cemitério da Consolação is a cemetery in São Paulo, Brazil. Located along the north side of Rua da Consolação in the district of Consolação, it was founded on 15 August 1858, with the name of Cemitério Municipal, being the city's first public graveyard.The cemetery is known by its pieces of funerary art, with graves, statues and mausoleums built and sculpted by artists such as Victor Brecheret, Ramos de Azevedo, Luigi Brizzolara and Galileo Emendabili.

The Heart Institute, University of São Paulo (Instituto do Coração da Universidade de São Paulo, or InCor) is one of the clinical institutes of the central University's teaching hospital (Hospital das Clínicas da Universidade de São Paulo) and recognized as one of the world's academic and clinical excellence centers in cardiology, cardiovascular medicine and cardiovascular surgery. The Heart Institute was founded in 1963 (1963) by the noted cardiovascular surgeon and professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo, Dr. Euryclides de Jesus Zerbini.

St. Louis College (Portuguese: Colégio São Luís), is a Brazilian Catholic school located in the city of São Paulo. It was founded by the Jesuits in 1867. The school has classes from kindergarten through high school. St. Louis College's business school ceased operations in 2009, and students were transferred to Centro Universitário da FEI and Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.

The Cemitério dos Protestantes ("Cemetery of the Protestants") is a historic Protestant cemetery located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The cemetery is listed by CONDEPHAAT (Council for the Protection of Historical, Archaeological, Artistic and Touristic Patrimony) for its historical, cultural and social importance for the state of São Paulo.

The Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (University of São Paulo Faculty of Medicine Clinics Hospital) is a complex of health institutions, located in various regions of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Founded on April 19, 1944, it occupies a total area of 600,000 square meters and offers 2,400 beds, distributed among its eight specialized institutes and two assisting hospitals. The main complex of the institution is also connected to a metro station.
