Delta 3 greenhouse in East Ladner, southwest British Columbia, may be the world's largest cannabis greenhouse. As of 2018, the greenhouse is owned by Pure Sunfarms, a wholly owned subsidiary of Village Farms International. In early 2018, it was licensed to expand to 1,100,000 square feet (100,000 m2) (25 acres), enough to produce 75 metric tons of cannabis annually. The company owning the greenhouse has options to expand to another two greenhouses; combined they would produce 300 metric tons per year, equal to roughly half of Canada's entire recreational cannabis consumption at the time nationwide legalization commenced in 2018.The Delta 3 greenhouse was originally built and operated by Canagro Produce Ltd. and Century Pacific Greenhouses Ltd. to grow vegetables. The site was purchased by Hot House Growers in 2003 and then taken over by Village Farms in 2006 in a merger that created one of North America's largest greenhouse growers. In 2017 Village Farms announced plans to enter the legal cannabis market by converting the Delta greenhouses through a joint venture with Emerald Health Therapeutics called Pure Sunfarms. Due to financial difficulties at Emerald, in September 2020 Village Farms reached an agreement to buy the remaining stake of Pure Sunfarms. As a result, all Delta greenhouses returned to Village Farms ownership.

Canadian Forces Station Ladner is a former military airfield and communications station located beside Boundary Bay and 2.5 nautical miles (4.6 km; 2.9 mi) east of Ladner in Delta, British Columbia, Canada, south of Vancouver and close to the U.S. border. After its closure it was reopened as Boundary Bay Airport.

Boundary Bay Airport or Vancouver/Boundary Bay Airport (IATA: YDT, ICAO: CZBB) is located beside Boundary Bay and 2.5 nautical miles (4.6 km; 2.9 mi) east of Ladner in Delta, British Columbia, Canada, 8.5 NM (15.7 km; 9.8 mi) south southeast of Vancouver and close to the Point Roberts-Boundary Bay border crossing. The airport, which opened on July 11, 1983, serves mostly general aviation and includes facilities for aircraft maintenance, flight training and parking. In 2020 and 2021, Boundary Bay airport was ranked as the busiest airport in Canada by aircraft movements.The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers are available on call to handle entry for aircraft carrying no more than 15 passengers.

CKGO (730 AM) is a commercial radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia, owned by Corus Entertainment and calling itself AM 730. It broadcasts a highway advisory format. Its radio studios and offices are in the TD Tower in Downtown Vancouver. CKGO transmits with a power output of 50,000 watts, the maximum for Canadian AM stations. It uses a directional antenna at all times to protect other stations on 730 AM from interference. The transmitter is off British Columbia Highway 17 in Delta.

Burns Bog is an ombrotrophic peat bog located in Delta, British Columbia, Canada. It is the largest raised peat bog and the largest undeveloped urban land mass on the West Coast of the Americas. Burns Bog was originally 4,000–4,900 hectares (9,900–12,100 acres) before development. Currently, only 3,500 hectares (8,600 acres) remain of the bog.Burns Bog is habitat to more than 300 plant and animal species, and 175 bird species. Some of these animals are listed as endangered (i.e. red-listed) or vulnerable (i.e. blue-listed) under the BC Provincial Government Species at-risk designations. The bog is also a major migratory stopover for various bird species on the Pacific Flyway.Burns Bog regulates water as well. The bog prevents flooding, maintains cool water temperatures in nearby rivers, holds water, and releases water in dry conditions. Burns Bog is an estuarine bog since it is situated at the mouth of the Fraser River and next to the Pacific Ocean.

Matthews Exchange was a transit exchange located on Highway 99 at the Ladner Trunk Road interchange. Opened on April 20, 1987, the exchange is primarily served by the 351 to Richmond and South Surrey. On September 7, 2020, the exchange closed and its designation was dropped, but buses that used to serve this exchange continue to do so.Stops 54876 and 54878 are located on the north side of Highway 99 while stops 54877 and 55179 are located on the south side.

The Ladner Leisure Centre is a recreation centre in Ladner, a community in Delta, British Columbia. The facility contains an ice rink and two swimming pools, a six-lane 25-metre competition pool and a wading pool for casual use. It also houses a 2,800 square foot weight room, a fitness studio, multi-purpose rooms, a swirl pool, a sauna, as well as a Blenz coffee shop and a private physiotherapy clinic.The facility is the official training centre of the WHL's Vancouver Giants, the home rink of the PJHL's Delta Ice Hawks, and a home rink, along with Tilbury Arena and South Delta Recreation Centre, for the South Delta Minor Hockey Association. During the summer months the ice is removed and surface is used for lacrosse where it is the home of the BCJLL's Delta Islanders as well as the Delta Lacrosse Association.

Delta is a city in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada, as part of Greater Vancouver. The Ladner Exchange is a major transit exchange in the community of Ladner within the city of Delta, British Columbia. Opened on November 24, 1978, it is the primary transit hub for South Delta, serving as a terminus for all but two routes and includes connections to SkyTrain stations in Richmond and Surrey. There is a 200-space park and ride and kiss and ride adjacent to the exchange.

Provincial Resource Program for Autism and Related Disorders is a specialized program within School District 37 Delta. The program is funded by the Ministry of Education to serve the needs of school age students with profound developmental disorders or disabilities that limit their ability to participate in a regular school environment.
