Rinkeby (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈrɪ̂ŋːkɛˌbyː]) is a district in the Rinkeby-Kista borough, Stockholm, Sweden. Rinkeby had 19,349 inhabitants in 2016. The neighbourhood was part of the Million Programme. The Stockholm metro station Rinkeby was also opened in 1975. Rinkeby is noted for its high concentration of immigrants and people with immigrant ancestry. 89.1% of the suburb's population had a first- or second-generation immigrant background as of 2007.A sociolect called Rinkeby Swedish has been named after Rinkeby. This is also said to be used all over the suburbs in Stockholm and across Sweden.The district was a part of the Rinkeby borough until 1 January 2007, when it was merged with Kista borough to form the Rinkeby-Kista borough. In the years preceding 2008, the state Social Insurance Agency, state Public Employment Service, banks and postal services vacated their offices in the area.In 2010, the official figures stated 15,000 people lived in the area, but officials admitted 17,000 were more likely though uncertainties meant the figure could be higher still. Of those, 90% had a migration background and 37.6% were from Africa. With the area being home to a large number of immigrants, many from Somalia, the area is sometimes called 'Little Mogadishu'.In its December 2014 report, Swedish Police placed it as most severe category of urban areas with high crime rates.

Rinkeby was a borough (stadsdelsområde) in Stockholm, Sweden until 1 January 2007, practically identical to the district of Rinkeby. In 2007, Rinkeby merged with the borough of Kista to form the Rinkeby-Kista borough.

Bromsten (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈbrɔ̂mːsteːn]) is a middle-class district of northwestern Stockholm and belongs to the Spånga-Tensta borough. The ruins of an ancient hill fort located in the area are believed to be the source of the district's name.

Rissne metro station is a station on the blue line of the Stockholm metro, located in Rissne, Sundbyberg Municipality. The station was inaugurated on 18 August 1985 as part of the extension to between Västra skogen and Rinkeby. The station is 10.4 kilometers (6.5 mi) from Kungsträdgården. The station is located in caverns 25–40 meters (82–131 ft) below Rissne Square where the ticket hall is. There is a subtitled timeline of historic events in the station from 3000 BC to the 1980s by Madeleine Dranger and Rolf H Reimers.

Rissne is a neighborhood in the western part of Sundbyberg Municipality, Stockholm, Sweden. It has about 7500 inhabitants and borders to Stora Ursvik in the north, Duvbo and Hallonbergen in the east, and in the west and south to Bromsten, the latter one within Västerort in Stockholm Municipality. The area belonged to what used to be Spånga municipality until its dissolution in 1949, when it for example together with Duvbo was transferred to Sundbybergs stad. The name comes from Risö, which was the name that the Vikings used. The Svea Artillery Regiment had its camp there until 1960. An apartment block was built 1982 to 1988. The street names in the area hints to the site’s military history. (Lavettvägen, Kavallerivägen, Pjäsbacken, Artillerivägen, and Skvadronsbacken) and on the many relics (including graves) contained in Rissne (Mjölnerbacken, Odalvägen, Valkyriavägen).

Spånga Church (Swedish: Spånga kyrka) is a church in the Spånga-Tensta borough in Stockholm, Sweden. It is part of Spånga-Kista Parish in the Diocese of Stockholm. The oldest part of the church originates from 1175–1200. Large reconstructions and enhancements took place during the 14th and 15th centuries. Baron Gustaf Bonde (1620–1667), owner of the nearby Hässelby Palace, made considerable donations to the church. After his death a chancel tomb, designed by the architect Nicodemus Tessin the Elder, was added onto the church, in which he and his descendants are buried. The church also contains other historical monuments, such as several fresco paintings from the Middle Ages. The church was last renovated between 1953 and 1955.

Kista metro station is a station on the blue line of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Kista, northern Stockholm. The distance to Kungsträdgården is 15.9 km (9.9 mi). It was opened on 5 June 1977 as part of the extension from Hallonbergen to Akalla. The station is the only one on the blue line above ground.

Fascinate is a graffiti painting at an industrial park in Bromsten, Stockholm. Fascinate was created by Circle and Tariq (Tarik Saleh), then 17 years old, in 1989 and was then the largest graffiti painting in northern Europe. It is painted on an outside wall of an industrial building and was made with consent from the property owner. Fascinate is one of the world's oldest still existing graffiti paintings.In 1989 graffiti was a relatively new phenomenon in Sweden. The Bromsten industrial area was reconstructed into a residential area starting in 2018. A discussion took place about possible protection of Fascinate as the Stockholm City Museum considered it culturally valuable. In 2008, however, the center-right majority in the city planning committee decided that the painting should not be maintained, referring to the city's graffiti policy, which says that the city should not "participate in activities that in any way encourages graffiti".After a period of uncertainty regarding the future of Fascinate, the wall became the first graffiti work in Sweden to be officially protected in 2015. The rest of the building is to be demolished and the area around the wall transformed into a park.
