Jutrijp (West Frisian: Jutryp) is a village in Súdwest-Fryslân in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 265 in January 2017.It forms, together with Hommerts, the double village De Hommerts-Jutryp.

De Rat (English: The Rat) is a smock mill in IJlst, Friesland, Netherlands, which was originally built in the seventeenth century at Zaanstreek, North Holland. In 1828 it was moved to IJlst, where it worked using wind power until 1920 and then by electric motor until 1950. The mill was bought by the town of IJlst in 1956 and restored in the mid-1960s. Further restoration in the mid-1970s returned the mill to full working order. De Rat is working for trade and is used as a training mill. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument (No. 39880).

Heeg (West Frisian: Heech) is a village in Súdwest Fryslân municipality in the province Friesland of the Netherlands and had a population of around 2,175 in January 2017.

IJlst is a railway station serving IJlst, Netherlands. It is located on the Leeuwarden–Stavoren railway between Sneek and Stavoren and the current station was opened on 2 June 1985. Owned by Nederlandse Spoorwegen, the train services are operated by Arriva. The original railway station and its adjacent building was first opened on 28 November 1885 and regular service continued until 1938, when IJlst was removed from the train schedule. Train services briefly resumed from May 1940 until April 1941, with the station's building being demolished in 1954, although freight trains continued to stop in IJlst until September 1970. On 2 June 1985, the station was reopened with a small waiting room a few hundred meters to the north of the original location.

IJlst (Dutch pronunciation: [ɛilst]; West Frisian: Drylts pronounced [drilts]) is a city in Friesland, Netherlands. It is located about 3 km southwest of Sneek. It lies within the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân and had a population of approximately 3,140 in January 2017.

Wymbritseradeel (; official West Frisian: Wymbritseradiel ()) was a rural municipality (Dutch: gemeenten) in the Dutch province of Friesland from 1984 until 2011. An earlier type of municipality (Dutch: grietenij) of the same name existed from 1500 until 1984.

Doniawerstal was a municipality in southwest Friesland, south of Sneek. It consisted mainly of grassland and lakes. Its capital was Langweer. The municipality was dissolved in 1984; part went to Wymbritseradiel and part went to Skarsterlân. At the time of its dissolution it had its Dutch name; in West Frisian it was Doanjewerstal.
