De Jager, Woudsend

Woudsend (West Frisian: Wâldsein) is a village in Súdwest-Fryslân in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 1,380 in January 2017.There are two windmills in the village, 't Lam and De Jager.

't Lam (English: The Lamb) is a smock mill in Woudsend, Friesland, Netherlands which was built in the late 17th century and is in working order. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument.

Doniawerstal was a municipality in southwest Friesland, south of Sneek. It consisted mainly of grassland and lakes. Its capital was Langweer. The municipality was dissolved in 1984; part went to Wymbritseradiel and part went to Skarsterlân. At the time of its dissolution it had its Dutch name; in West Frisian it was Doanjewerstal.

Sloten (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈsloːtə(n)]; West Frisian: Sleat) is a historical fortified city within the municipality of De Fryske Marren, in the Dutch province of Friesland. Sloten lies adjacent to the Slotermeer and is situated between the towns of Lemmer and Balk. Sloten is one of the eleven Frisian cities and was an independent municipality until 1984. Sloten then belonged to the municipality of Gaasterlân-Sleat until 1 January 2014. In 2017, Sloten had 715 inhabitants.

Gaasterlân-Sleat is a former municipality in the northern Netherlands. Its official name is in West Frisian, the Dutch name being Gaasterland-Sloten (pronounced [ˌɣaːstərlɑnt ˈsloːtə(n)] ). In 2014 it merged with the municipalities of Lemsterland and Skarsterlân to form the new municipality De Fryske Marren.

Balk (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbɑl(ə)k]) is a town in the northern Netherlands. It is a village of the municipality De Fryske Marren, province Friesland, and is located about 17 km southwest of Sneek. In 2017 Balk had 4,090 inhabitants.
