Clatworthy Reservoir

Clatworthy Camp is an Iron Age hill fort 3 miles (4.8 km) North West of Wiveliscombe, Somerset, England. It has been scheduled as an Ancient Monument. Due to the vulnerability to scrub and tree growth it has been added to the Heritage at Risk Register. The history of the site is unclear but appears to have been used between the Bronze and Iron Ages. It is situated on a promontory of the Brendon Hills above Clatworthy Reservoir. It is roughly triangular in shape with an area of 5.8 hectares (14 acres). It has a single bank and ditch, cut through solid rock. There may have been an entrance on the west and two on the east. The interior has postholes from timber or stone houses and some storage pits. In 2014 and 2015 Wessex Water undertook tree clearance and the removal of bracken from the site without disturbing badger setts and potential bat roosts. Information boards about the local wildlife were also installed.

Brendon Hill (occasionally referred to as "Raleigh's Cross") was an intermediate station on the West Somerset Mineral Railway (WSMR), which was built primarily to carry iron ore from mines to Watchet harbour in Somerset, England. The line was unconnected to any other, though it passed under what is now the West Somerset Railway south of the village of Watchet. The station was located at the top of the line's most striking feature - a three quarters of a mile, rope-hauled incline at a gradient of 1 in 4 (25%). The line's seven stations were designed by Rice Hopkins. Brendon Hill was one of the five which showed a clear family resemblance. It was built in anticipation of offering the usual goods and passenger facilities, but no regular passenger service ever ran south of Comberow. The railway, the incline and especially the mines required labour, so a significant community grew up within sight of the station. Despite its location, which remains remote to this day, Brendon Hill's situation at the head of the incline, together with the happy accidents of having an early railway photographer in the vicinity and exceptional historians interested in the railway has left a rich legacy of photographs of the station in context.

Although the station nameboard and all published literature refers to the station as "Comberow", passenger tickets were printed "Combe Row". Comberow's situation in a valley at the foot of the incline, together with the happy accidents of having an early railway photographer in the vicinity and exceptional historians interested in the railway has left a rich legacy of photographs of the station in context.

Elworthy Barrows is an unfinished Iron Age hill fort, rather than Bronze Age barrows, which is designated a scheduled ancient monument (No:188401). It is located in the civil parish of Brompton Ralph near Wiveliscombe, Somerset, England. It covers an area of 3.5 hectares (8.6 acres) and is surrounded by a bank and ditch.

Abbotsfield is a country house and farm, to the west of the town of Wiveliscombe, Somerset, England. Built in 1872, it became a Grade II listed building a century later on 11 July 1975.

Treborough is a small village and civil parish 7 miles (11 km) south of Dunster, lying amongst the Brendon Hills within the Exmoor National Park in Somerset, England.

The Anglican St Peter's Church at Treborough within the English county of Somerset dates from the 14th century. It is a Grade II* listed building. Although some of the fabric of the building from the 14th century, the rest was constructed in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. It was restored in the 19th century when the two-stage tower received a new roof. The octagonal font dates from the 15th century. In the churchyard is a medieval cross with a stone shaft on an octagonal base with three octagonal steps. The head of the cross with a figure of St Peter is a 19th-century addition. The parish is part of the benefice of Old Cleeve, Leighland and Treborough within the archdeaconry of Taunton.
