Runcorn Shopping City, formerly Halton Lea and Runcorn Shopping Centre, is a medium-sized indoor shopping centre in Runcorn, England. Opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1972, it is the main shopping area in Runcorn and has over 125,000 visitors per week. It was the largest enclosed shopping centre in Europe at the time of its construction and remains the largest in Cheshire.

Halton Old Hall is a house in the village of Halton in Runcorn, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. The house dates from 1693, and is built in sandstone with a slate roof. It has two storeys and an attic; a two-storey wing has been added to the back. The windows have mullions and the gables have corbels and copings. Both Starkey and Nikolaus Pevsner note that its style is older than its date.

It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.The vicarage was built in 1739 by Sir John Chesshyre for the incumbent of St Mary's Church. It is built in sandstone with a slate roof and has rusticated quoins. It has five bays, the central of which is flanked by giant pilasters. The porch is supported by Doric columns. The eaves cornice has a solid parapet with a pedimented centre. Over the door are Sir John's coat of arms.

The Southgate Estate was a modernist public housing project located in Runcorn New Town (Cheshire, England) and completed in 1977. The estate was designed by James Stirling, and comprised 1,500 residential units intended to house 6,000 people. The estate was demolished between 1990 and 1992 and replaced with another housing development, known as Hallwood Park, based around more traditional design principles.

Its side walls are continuous with the curtain walls of the ruins of Halton Castle. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

Halton Castle is a castle in the village of Halton, part of the town of Runcorn, Cheshire, England. The castle is on the top of Halton Hill, a sandstone prominence overlooking the village. The original building, a motte-and-bailey castle began in 1071, was replaced with the current sandstone castle in the 13th century. Building alterations continued until at least 1609, when the structure is recorded as in disrepair. The castle is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and a scheduled ancient monument.It was the seat of the Barons of Halton from the 11th century until the 14th century, then passed to the Duchy of Lancaster. It was besieged twice in the Civil War after which its structure deteriorated. In the 18th century a new courthouse was built on the site of the previous gatehouse. The castle lies in ruins apart from the courthouse which has been converted into a public house.

Town Park is a large urban park in Runcorn, Cheshire, England. Town Park was created as an integral part of the original Runcorn New Town development with the aim of forming a central landscape feature for local residents. The creation of Town Park preserved nearly 157 hectares of existing woodlands and undulating grassland. The park was planned to link the New Town centre with local centres via green corridors and included large areas of open grassland and woodland as well as buildings for recreational and cultural activities. Halton Miniature Railway (opened in 1979), Runcorn Ski Slope and Norton Priory Museum and Gardens sit within the park boundaries. In July 2010, a new play area was created at Stockham Lane adjacent to the miniature railway. From July 2017, the park was staffed with two full time park workers for the first time since the early 1990s, funded by the Viridor Runcorn Energy from Waste plant. In 2018, the Council adopted a Masterplan for Town Park which would see footpaths widened and three themed hubs created across the park.
