It was formed on 1 January 2009 by the merger of the former Ämter Britz-Chorin and Oderberg. The Amt Britz-Chorin-Oderberg consists of the following municipalities: Britz Chorin Hohenfinow Liepe Lunow-Stolzenhagen Niederfinow Oderberg Parsteinsee
