Hazelwell is an area in south-west Birmingham, England. Originally a distinct neighbourhood, it has since been incorporated into and split between the suburbs of Stirchley and Kings Heath.

It is one of the most academically successful schools in the United Kingdom, currently ranked 10th among state schools. It is one of seven schools in Birmingham that are part of the King Edward VI Foundation. It shares a campus with King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys and, in 1958, both schools moved from their original location in central Birmingham to Vicarage Road in the Birmingham suburb of Kings Heath. The buildings are connected and some facilities and activities are shared, but they are separate establishments. The name has been retained from the school's former site at Camp Hill.

It is one of the most academically successful schools in the United Kingdom, currently ranked third among state schools. The name is retained from the previous location at Camp Hill in central Birmingham. The school moved to Vicarage Road in the suburb of Kings Heath in 1956, sharing a campus with its sister school (King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls), also formerly located in Camp Hill. It is a school which specialises in Science, Mathematics, and Applied Learning. In 2006, the school was assessed by The Sunday Times as state school of the year. A Year 9 student was 2011 winner of The Guardian Children's Fiction Page and the Gold Award in the British Physics Olympiad was won by a King Edward VI Camp Hill student in September 2011. Camp Hill has also sent a boy to the International Chemistry Olympiad for 4 years in a row (2019, 2018, 2017, 2018 2016). In the 2019 Chemistry Olympiad, Camp Hill received the second most gold certificates, coming second to St Paul's School, London.Ofsted inspections classify Camp Hill as an Outstanding Provider.

Kings Heath Park is a Green Flag status park in the Kings Heath district of Birmingham, England, which is managed by Birmingham City Council.For a time, the park was used as the setting for the popular ATV programme Gardening Today.

Highbury Park is a public park located in Moseley, Birmingham, UK. The estate of Highbury Hall, the former residence of Joseph Chamberlain, stands on the park's northern edge. Before his death in 1914, he bequeathed the park to the people of Birmingham. The park finally opened to the public in 1930. Rangers are also available to host events and activities in the park. A picnic area also lies in the park.

Selly Park Girls' School (formerly Selly Park Technology College for Girls) is a secondary school located in the Selly Park area of Birmingham, in the West Midlands of England.It is a non-selective community school for girls administered by Birmingham City Council. The school offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils. It also has specialist status as a Technology College. The school was founded more than 100 years old. A former headmistress, Wendy Patricia Davies, received a damehood in 2001 for her work improving the school when it was still the Selly Park Technology College for Girls.

Highbury Hall, now a Grade II* listed building, was commissioned as his Birmingham residence by Joseph Chamberlain in 1878, two years after he became member of parliament for Birmingham. It took its name from the Highbury area of London, where Chamberlain had lived as a child. The architect was John Henry Chamberlain (no relation), who incorporated much terracotta decoration.

Kings Heath (historically, and still occasionally King's Heath) is a suburb of south Birmingham, England, four miles south of the city centre. Historically in Worcestershire, it is the next suburb south from Moseley on the A435, Alcester road.

Stirchley is in south-west Birmingham, England.The River Rea, which flows through the area and once powered mills at Lifford, Hazelwell, Dogpool and Moor Green, is now a walking and cycle route. The Worcester and Birmingham Canal and the railways brought industry to the area. Residential developments were established alongside the long-standing Victorian terracing which is associated with the suburb. The restored former Stirchley Baths community hub opened in 2016.
