Asilomar State Marine Reserve

Asilomar State Beach, officially Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds State Park, is a state park unit of California, United States. It provides public access to rocky coast and dune habitat on the Monterey Peninsula. The property includes the Asilomar Conference Grounds, a conference center built by the YWCA in 1913 that is now a National Historic Landmark. The 107-acre (43 ha) site is located in Pacific Grove and offers overnight lodging and views of the forest, surf and sand. Asilomar (meaning "Asylum or refuge by the sea" and pronounced a-SIL-o-mar) is a combination of two Spanish words: "asilo" and "mar". It is part of the native homeland of the Rumsen Ohlone people.

Rancho Punta de los Piños was a 2,667-acre (10.79 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Monterey County, California given in 1833 by Governor José Figueroa to José María Armenta, and regranted to José Abrego in 1844 by Governor Manuel Micheltorena. The name means "Point of the Pines". The grant extended along the Pacific coast from Point Piños near Pacific Grove south to Rancho Pescadero.

Asilomar Conference Grounds is a conference center built for the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA). It is located east of what was known as Moss Beach on the western tip of the Monterey Peninsula in Pacific Grove, California. Between 1913 and 1929 architect Julia Morgan designed and built 16 of the buildings on the property, of which 11 are still standing. In 1956 it became part of the State Division of Beaches and Parks of California's Department of Natural Resources, and Moss Beach was renamed Asilomar State Beach. Asilomar is a derivation of the Spanish phrase asilo al mar, meaning asylum or refuge by the sea. It is the native homeland of the Rumsen Ohlone people.

The Monarch Grove Sanctuary is an urban nature preserve in Pacific Grove, California. It protects the monarch butterflies that winter in Pacific Grove arriving in October. It is maintained by a volunteer crew. About 12–16,000 butterflies stayed at the sanctuary during the 2022-23 winter, making it the fourth largest of its type in California.

Point Pinos Lighthouse was lit on February 1, 1855, to guide ships on the Pacific Coast of California. It is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the West Coast of the United States and even the lens is original. Alcatraz Island Lighthouse preceded Point Pinos by eight months, but was replaced in 1909 by the expanding military prison. The Point Pinos Lighthouse is still an active United States Coast Guard aid to navigation. On-site museum exhibits and other lighthouse related functions are operated by the city of Pacific Grove, Monterey County, California. The lighthouse is surrounded by the Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Links.

Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Links is a public 18-hole golf course owned by the city of Pacific Grove, California. Originally designed by Chandler Egan in 1932, the first nine holes are laid out through the forested areas of Pacific Grove. The back nine was designed by Jack Neville, original designer of the Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California, and overlook Point Pinos, where the Pacific Ocean and Monterey Bay meet on the northern tip of the Monterey Peninsula. The golf links is also site of the Point Pinos Lighthouse. The 18-hole golf course features a restaurant as well as a golf pro shop. Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Links was ranked by Zagat Survey as one of America's Best Golf Courses and by Golf Magazine as One of the Nation's Top 50 Golf Courses Under $50.

Olvida Peñas is a residence built and designed by Oakland architect Frederick H. Reimers in 1926 for J. M. Mendel. The home is located in the Monterey Peninsula Country Club tract in Pebble Beach, California. The house is noted for its use of Mexican Vernacular architecture and adherence to the community planning structures of Pebble Beach. The building was officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 3, 1978.

The Monterey Peninsula Country Club (MPCC) is a 36-hole golf club on the West Coast of the United States, located on the Monterey Peninsula in Pebble Beach, California.

Pacific Grove High School (PGHS) is a public high school located in Pacific Grove, California, between Carmel and Monterey.

The Gosby House Inn, in Pacific Grove, California, is a two-story Victorian mansion that was built in 1887 by J.F. Gosby. The Inn evolved architecturally in stages, from a vernacular boarding house serving a religious retreat to a Queen Anne hotel catering to vacationers. The Victorian was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 2, 1980. In 2022 it is still operating as a bed and breakfast lodging establishment.

Forest Hill Hotel is an historic hotel in Pacific Grove, California. It was opened on July 1, 1926 and is one of the highest buildings in Pacific Grove. It is currently the Pacific Grove Senior Living.

Chautauqua ( shə-TAW-kwə) Hall is a historic building in Pacific Grove, California, United States. It was built in 1881 by the Pacific Improvement Company for the Pacific Grove Retreat Association for presenting concerts and entertainment. On July 20, 1970, the building was declared a California Historical Landmark #839. In 2022 the hall hosts classes and programs for the city. This facility is Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant.
