The Fjäderholmarna (English: Feather Islands) are a group of small islands in the Stockholm archipelago close to downtown Stockholm, Sweden. The Fjäderholmarna consist of the four named islands of Stora Fjäderholmen, Ängsholmen, Libertas and Rövarns holme, together with a number of smaller islets. The Fjäderholmarna are located within the municipality of Lidingö, and are administered as part of the Royal National City Park. Stora Fjäderholmen can be reached by regular boat services from various locations in central Stockholm, with a voyage duration of about 20 minutes. The island is home to a number of craft workshops and stores, as well as several restaurants and cafes.

Rudboda is a neighborhood in Lidingö Municipality, Sweden, with some 3,000 inhabitants. Rudboda is dominated by single-family houses. The neighborhood has one school and a shopping square. There was a church, which has now been desecrated. Rudboda also contain Bosön, a large sports complex, and the headquarters of the Swedish Sports Confederation.

Gåshaga brygga (Gåshaga jetty) is the eastern terminus of the Lidingöbanan light rail in Lidingö east of central Stockholm, Sweden. It is possible to interchange with the Waxholmsbolaget archipelago boats at this stop. The current Gåshaga brygga stop was inaugurated on May 7, 2001 after rebuilding the stretch from the Gåshaga stop down to the water, a portion of the line that hadn't been in use since 1946.

Bosön is a sports complex on Lidingö outside Stockholm in Sweden, and the headquarters for the Swedish Sports Confederation. Several Swedish national teams have annual training camps at Bosön.

Stockholm County (Swedish: Stockholms län [ˈstɔ̂kː(h)ɔlms ˈlɛːn]) is a county or län (in Swedish) on the Baltic Sea coast of Sweden. It borders Uppsala County and Södermanland County. It also borders Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. The city of Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. Stockholm County is divided by the historic provinces of Uppland (Roslagen) and Södermanland (Södertörn). More than one fifth of the Swedish population lives in the county. Stockholm County is also one of the statistical riksområden (national areas) according to NUTS:SE, Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics within the EU. With more than two million inhabitants, Stockholm is the most densely populated county of Sweden.

General Curt Ture Engelbrecht Göransson (15 July 1909 – 11 November 1996) was a Swedish Army officer. Göransson's senior commands include Chief of the Defence Staff 1957–1961, military commander of the I Military District 1961–1963 and Chief of the Army 1963–1969.

Lidingö Cemetery (Swedish: Lidingö kyrkogård) is a cemetery located adjacent to Lidingö Church in Stockholm County, Sweden. It is centrally located on the island of Lidingö at an elevation adjacent to Kyrkviken's southern shore. South-west of the church is Hersbyholm and south on the other side of Ekholmsnäsvägen is one of Lidingö's well-known townhouse areas, Hersby Gärde.

Stillerska Filmgymnasiet is an upper secondary school located on Lidingö, Sweden. It was founded 2009 and the first students started the school the same autumn. Stillerska is a film school where you learn directing, cinematography, sound and much more in the film industry. The school’s ambition is to include film in every core subject which gives the school a creative spirit. The semester of fall 2015 started on August 26, when all other upper secondary school students that year started on the 17th.

Nacka Municipality (Nacka kommun) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east-central Sweden. Its seat is located at Nacka. The municipality is situated just east of the capital Stockholm and the western parts are considered a suburban part of the city of Stockholm. The present municipality was created in 1971 when the City of Nacka (itself instituted in 1949) was amalgamated with Saltsjöbaden (itself detached from "old" Nacka in 1909) and Boo.

Hersbyholm is known as the oldest and biggest farm in Lidingö, Sweden. The farm includes a manor, and is situated near the neighbourhood of Hersby. The farm has had several different owners through its lifetime and has been inhabited by different powerful landowners. The farm dates back to the 1400s. The farm was long known as one of the biggest agriculture farms in Lidingö. In the 13th century owned by Bo Jonsson who obtained the farm through an exchange with the son of Bridget of Sweden. Hersbyholm was taken over and owned by the Banérs family from Djursholm Castle at the end of the 14th century. When they eventually started to sell parts of Lidingö in 1774, the farm was bought by the auditor Johan Falkson who earlier had leased the farm from the Banérs. In 1920, Hersbyholm was bought by the farmer Karl Lindbom (1787-1849), one of the first men who had gotten the epithet "King of Lidingö". The country state was rebuilt by the then "King of Lidingö" Jan Zetterberg (1810-1878) who also named the farm Hersbyholm. The farm was inherited by his children, while the agriculture region was rented out. Great areas of the land were sold out in the early 19th century to AB Lidingö Villastad which were divided and sold it as plots of land. Hersbyholm was bought by Carl von Heidenstam in 1921, and was nine years later bought by the artist Einar Nerman (1888-1983).

Lidingö Municipality (Lidingö kommun semi-officially named as Lidingö stad) is a municipality east of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located on the island of Lidingö. The municipality is a part of Metropolitan Stockholm. It is chiefly located on the island Lidingö, but also incorporates a few smaller islands in the surroundings, most notably the Fjäderholmarna islands within the Stockholm archipelago. Being an island municipality it has not been amalgamated with any other entities. The small island of Tranholmen has, however, been transferred to Danderyd Municipality. The rural municipality was made a market town (köping) in 1910, a city in 1926 and a unitary municipality in 1971. The municipality always refers to itself as Lidingö stad ("the City of Lidingö"). This was a decision taken by the municipal assembly (kommunfullmäktige) in 1992.
