Other settlements in the parish include East Taphouse, and Penfrane, containing 421 inhabitants. The parish church, dedicated to St Pynnochus (Winnoc), is located at OS Grid Ref SX200630. To the north, the parish is bordered by St Cleer and St Neot parishes, to the east by Dobwalls and Trewidland parish, to the south by Lanreath and Duloe parishes and to the west by Braddock parish. In 1851 the parish of Herodsfoot was created from parts of St Pinnock, Lanreath and Duloe parishes. The parish of St Pinnock has always been in the Liskeard Registration District. The A390 road runs through the north of the parish. In the 1870s, St Pinnock was described as:PINNOCK (St.), a parish in Cornwall; adjacent to the Cornwall railway, 3¼ miles; and 1¼ S of Doublebois r. station. Post-town. Acres, 3, 487. Treverbyn Vean is a 19th-century mansion in St Neot, Cornwall. Its exterior was designed by George Gilbert Scott and its interior by William Burges, two of the major architects of the Gothic Revival. Dobwalls Adventure Park was a family-run visitor attraction in the village of Dobwalls, near Liskeard, Cornwall. Founded in 1970 by John Southern, the park was one of Cornwall's top visitor attractions, consisting of two miniature railway networks complemented by large play areas and recreational grounds, both indoors and outdoors, an award-winning art gallery and woodland walks. The park closed at the end of the 2006 season for redevelopment work, but in June 2007 it was announced that it would not reopen in its original form as an adventure park. The redevelopment projects stalled, with the John Southern Gallery and new camping site closing. The administrators were called in and the site, complete with many of the original buildings and landscapes still in existence were put up for sale by sealed bid auction.

Dobwalls (Cornish: Fos an Mogh) is a village and civil parish in south-east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated 3 mi (5 km) west of Liskeard. The name is spelt Dubwalls on Bartholomew's map and Black's Guide of 1879. The A38 trunk road ran through the village until the bypass was opened on 19 December 2008. The bypass has two of the most elaborate bat bridges built so far in the UK (previous examples in Wales being wooden posts with cables). Twelve native species of bats are found in the area. Until 2006, the Dobwalls Adventure Park tourist attraction was located north of the village.

Dobwalls and Trewidland (Cornish: Fos an Mogh & Trewydhlann) was a civil parish in south-east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom between 1974 and 2021. The parish was bounded to the north by St Neot and St Cleer parishes, to the east by Liskeard and Menheniot parishes, to the south by Morval parish, to the west by the East Looe River and the parishes of St Pinnock and St Keyne, and to the south-west by Duloe parish. The two largest villages in the parish were Dobwalls and Doublebois, both in the north of the parish. There were several smaller villages in the south of the parish including Trewidland and Horningtops, and the hamlet of Boduel to the north. The hamlets of Coombe, East Tuelmenna, Treburgie and Twelvewoods were also in the parish.

Ocean Rain is the fourth studio album by the English post-punk band Echo & the Bunnymen. It was released on 4 May 1984 by Korova and reached number four on the UK Albums Chart, number 87 on the United States Billboard 200, number 41 on the Canadian RPM 100 Albums and number 22 on the Swedish chart. Since 1984 the album has been certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry. Ocean Rain includes the singles "The Killing Moon", "Silver" and "Seven Seas". The band wrote the songs for the new album in 1983. In early 1984 they recorded most of the album in Paris using a 35-piece orchestra, with other sessions taking place in Bath and Liverpool. Receiving mixed reviews the album was originally released as an LP and a cassette in May 1984 before it was reissued on CD in August. The album was reissued on CD in 2003, along with the other four of the band's first five studio albums, having been remastered and expanded before again being reissued in 2008 with a live bonus disc. The artwork for the album was designed by Martyn Atkins and the photography was by Brian Griffin. Echo & the Bunnymen played a number of concerts in 2008 where they performed Ocean Rain in full and with the backing of an orchestra.

Carnglaze Caverns consists of three man-made caverns formed as part of a slate quarry in the Loveny Valley, near the village of St Neot, Liskeard, Cornwall, England, UK. The first of the caverns, the Rum Store, is so called because it was used by the Royal Navy during the Second World War to store its supply of rum. In 2001 it was converted into an auditorium with seating for 400. The lowest of the three caverns has a lake, which was where the cover image for Echo & the Bunnymen's LP Ocean Rain was shot. The caverns have been used as an unusual concert venue, with performances from folk-rock artists such as Fish and Fairport Convention, as well as bands such as Embrace (in 2004), and British Sea Power (in 2005 and 2007). The site has also hosted craft and mineral shows.

Dobwalls Football Club is a football club based in Dobwalls, Cornwall. They are currently members of the South West Peninsula League Premier Division West and play at Lantoom Park.

Higher Trengale and Lower Trengale are two farming hamlets in the parish of St Cleer, Cornwall, England. It is located to the northwest of Liskeard. They are located between Dobwalls (to the south) and Draynes (to the north). The principal river in the area is the River Fowey, which flows to the north on the other side of Trengale Wood. Trengale is mentioned in Domesday Book. It documents a Richard holding Trengale, also referred to a Turgoil, from Saint Petroc in 1086. St Neot Lower Trengale Farm Holiday Cottages are rented out year round.

East Taphouse (Cornish: Diwotti Est) is a village in Cornwall, England, in the civil parish of St Pinnock, one mile (1.6 km) west of Doublebois on the A390 Liskeard to St Austell road. A little further west are the hamlets of Middle Taphouse and West Taphouse.
