Parada National High School is a public high school located at S. de Guzman St., Parada, Valenzuela City in the Philippines. It currently has two separate buildings (separated by a road), informally known as the old and new buildings.

The Smart Connect Interchange, also known as the Harbor Link Interchange and the Mindanao Avenue Interchange, is a two-level cloverleaf interchange in Valenzuela, Metro Manila, the Philippines which serves as the junction of North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) between its main segment and its Harbor Link project, particularly Segments 8.1 and 9, components of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5). Built as part of the 2.7-kilometer (1.7 mi) NLEX Segment 8.1 of the Harbor Link project extending the expressway to Mindanao Avenue, which has since been incorporated into the C-5 system, it is the Philippines' largest cloverleaf interchange in terms of land area.

The Valenzuela Gateway Complex, also known as the Valenzuela Gateway Complex Terminal and Valenzuela Gateway Complex (VGC) Central Integrated Terminal is an inter-regional intermodal transit hub in Valenzuela, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is planned to be one of three provincial bus stations serving Metro Manila and the principal terminal for province-bound and incoming buses from Central and Northern Luzon regions.

General Tiburcio de Leon National High School, also known as Gen. T. de Leon National High School or GTDNHS is a public national high school in Valenzuela, Philippines. It is under the supervision of the Division and City Schools - Valenzuela. Founded in 1969, the school had first served as an annex to Valenzuela Municipal High School. Since 1997, it had become a fully independent high school in Valenzuela. Its location has been moved several times, from Gen. T. de Leon Elementary School, to Tañada Subdivision to its present location in Mercado St. near T. Bugallion Bridge.

Mapulang Lupa National High School is a public secondary school located in Valenzuela City. Formerly known as Valenzuela National High School - Mapulang Lupa Annex, it was established in 2003 and gain its independent status on September 13, 2006 through House Bill #5776 (3RS-13 C) sponsored by the late Congressman Antonio M. Serapio together with then Albay representative Joey S. Salceda and Negros Occidental representative Jose Carlos V. Lacson during the 13th Congress. The current school principal is Mr. Rudy Fran Falcunitin.

Valenzuela (, Tagalog: [ˌvalenˈswela]), officially the City of Valenzuela (Filipino: Lungsod ng Valenzuela), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 714,978 people. It is the 6th most populous city in the National Capital Region, and the 11th most populous in the country. It is located about 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) north of Manila, the nation's capital. Valenzuela is categorized under Republic Act Nos. 7160 and 8526 as a highly urbanized, first-class city based on income classification and number of population. A landlocked chartered city located on the island of Luzon, it is bordered by the province of Bulacan, and cities of Caloocan, Malabon and Quezon City. Valenzuela shares border and access to Tenejeros-Tullahan River with Malabon. It has a total land area of 45.75 square kilometers (17.66 sq mi), where its residents are composed of about 72% Tagalog people followed by 5% Bicolanos with a small percentage of foreign nationals. Valenzuela was named after Pío Valenzuela, a physician and a member of the Katipunan, a secret society founded against the colonial government of Spain. The city, as a town, originally had the name Polo, initially formed in 1621 after separation from Meycauayan, Bulacan. The Battle of Malinta of the Philippine–American War was fought in Polo in 1899. In 1960, President Carlos P. Garcia ordered the split of Polo's southern barangays to form another town named as Valenzuela. The split was revoked by President Diosdado Macapagal in 1963 after political disagreements and the new merged town was named Valenzuela. The modern-day Valenzuela with its borders was chartered in 1998.

On May 13, 2015, a fire broke out at the Kentex Manufacturing factory in Valenzuela, Metro Manila, Philippines. Seventy-four people were killed in the fire, making the incident the third worst fire incident in Philippine history; after the Ozone Disco Club fire in 1996 and the Manor Hotel fire in Quezon City in 2001, which killed 162 and 75 people respectively.

Valenzuela Medical Center, formerly known as the Valenzuela General Hospital, is a government healthcare centre and hospital in Karuhatan, Valenzuela, Metro Manila, Philippines. The hospital is administered by the National Government through the Department of Health.

The Parish of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima (Filipino: Pambansang Dambana ng Birhen ng Fatima) is a parish church and national shrine in the Diocese of Malolos in the Philippines. It serves as a Philippine apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima in Fátima, Portugal, which is recognized by the Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines. The shrine is located near the Our Lady of Fatima University campus in Marulas, Valenzuela City in Metro Manila, Philippines. The shrine is one of the three major pilgrimage sites in the Diocese of Malolos, with the National Shrine of St. Anne in Hagonoy and the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Marilao as the other sites. The National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima is the home of the National Pilgrim Image (NPI) of Our Lady of Fatima, the image that became the forefront of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution.

SM City Valenzuela is a shopping mall owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings, the largest retail and mall operator in the Philippines. It is located along MacArthur Highway, Barangay Karuhatan, Valenzuela City. Opened on October 28, 2005, it is the first SM Supermall in Valenzuela City and in the CAMANAVA Area. It is also the 21st SM Supermall in the Philippines after SM City San Lazaro in Santa Cruz, Manila.

Museo Valenzuela is a museum in Valenzuela in Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the city's historical and cultural landmark, named after Pío Valenzuela in 1963. Museo Valenzuela features collections of artifacts depicting the city's past and continuing development, it also serves as a repository of the city's rich heritage and a beacon of light to its people and guests. It is likewise a venue for historical, cultural, and artistic presentations as well as seminars and symposia on national and local issues.

St. Louis College Valenzuela, formerly known as Philippine College of Technological Resources (PCTR) is a private school located at Maysan Road, Valenzuela City, Philippines. Politician and celebrity, Shalani Soledad, comic journalist, Marc Logan, and volleyball player Cha Cruz, are among its well-known high school alumni.
