Shūkōzan Chōjuin Saikai-ji (周光山長寿院済海寺), more commonly Saikai-ji (済海寺), is a Japanese temple in 4-16-23, Mita, Minato, Tokyo (on the Tsuki no Misaki). Its religious sect and principal image are Pure Land Buddhism and Amitābha respectively. This is a 26th the place where can get the green paper of Edo thirty three Kannon hallow ground. Green Paper's principal image is Kamezuka Seikannon Bosatsu (亀塚正観世音菩薩).

Mita Hachiman Jinja (御田八幡神社) is a Shinto shrine in Mita 3-7-16, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Its festival is on 15 August. The Great Martyrdom of Edo was the execution of 50 foreign and domestic Catholics (kirishitans), who were burned alive for their Christianity in Edo (modern-day Tokyo), Japan, on 4 December 1623. The mass execution was part of the persecution of Christians in Japan by Tokugawa Iemitsu, the third shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate. Among the executed was Jerome de Angelis (1567–1623), an Italian Jesuit missionary to Japan.

Friends Girls Junior & Senior High School (普連土学園中学校・高等学校, Furendo Gakuen Chūgakkō Kōtōgakkō), also known as Friends School (普連土学園, Furendo Gakuen), is a girls' junior and senior high school (7th - 12th grades), authorized by the Japanese Education Law, of Religious Society of Friends in Mita, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. In 1887, Women Evangelical Friends from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA founded it for the purpose of education for women on the advice of Uchimura Kanzō and Nitobe Inazō. The School is still the only Friends' educational organization in Japan. Whilst all the pupils are not Friends, they receive education about Quakerism including about Inner light. The School states that the characters used to transliterate 'Friend' in Japanese mean "universal connection with all global places". This is derived from an idea of Tsuda Sen, who was the father of Tsuda Umeko, the founder of Tsuda College.

Yūreizaka (幽霊坂) is a hill road located in Mita 4-chome in Minato, Tokyo. The slope climbs the promontory from east to west, and climbs along busy Sakurada Avenue and terminates at the intersection with Hijiri zaka. There are two possible sources for the name of the avenue: "Yūrei" meaning ghost, due to the presence of numerous temples along the street, giving it a desolate atmosphere such that ghosts might appear and "Yūrei," an alternate reading for the given name of the first Minister of Education in Japan, and scholar Mori Arinori, who lived in the vicinity.

Gyoran-ji (魚藍寺), formal name Suigetsu-in Gyoran-ji (水月院魚藍寺), is a Buddhist temple in 4 Mita, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It is located in the mountain side of Tsuki no Misaki.

MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives is a museum scheduled to open in the Takanawa Gateway City development in Minato, Tokyo, Japan in March of 2026. Alluding in its name both to gate (門, mon), in reference to Takanawa Great Wooden Gate and Takanawa Gateway Station, and question (問, mon), the museum aims through its displays and performances to combine traditional Japanese culture with themes relating to the future.

Hōtōzan Hōju-in Daishin-ji (宝島山峯樹院大信寺), abbreviated Daishin-ji, is a Buddhist temple of the Jōdo sect in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. In 1611, the founder, Ryō-kō Shōnin, was given land for the temple in Minami Hatchōbori by the Tokugawa shogunate. The temple was originally named Hōtōzan. In 1635, it was relocated to its present site in Mita 4 chōme by order of the government, to accommodate the continuing expansion of Edo. In 1636, Ishimura Genzaemon, considered the first shamisen craftsman in Edo, was buried in the temple. From Ishimura Omi, the graves of eleven generations of the family were also constructed there. For this reason, the temple is sometimes nicknamed "The Shamisen Temple."

Shiomizaka (潮見坂) is a slope in Mita 4-chome located at Tsuki no Misaki, Tokyo. It intersects Hijirizaka, which runs southwest from the head of the promontory. In the Edo period, one could look out from the slope and see Tokyo Bay. This caused the slope to become a well-known scene of Edo-era Japan. It is often used in ukiyo-e prints. Many hill roads in Japan bear the name "Shiomizaka". The name carries a dual meaning in Japanese; the most common is one is "watch the tide" and another is "see death." (Similar dual meanings occur in Japanese, for example Fujimi has two meaning, one is "look at Mount Fuji," another is "become immortal.") The names of the roads are attributed to Edo Shogunate founder Tokugawa Ieyasu who was given the territory by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It is said that he gave the slopes the names "shiomi" and "fujimi" because had faced the many crisis and overcame it in his life, that is Shi wo mite, and Fujimi ni naru.

Mita (三田) is a district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It was once home to grand estates of several daimyo, and now is one of Tokyo's most expensive upscale residential districts; it is home to many artists, CEOs, and celebrities.Mita is bordered by Higashi-Azabu on the north, Azabu-Jūban and Minami-Azabu to the west, and Shirokane and Takanawa to the south. Sengakuji Station (泉岳寺駅, Sengakuji-eki) is a railway station in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It is entirely owned and operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation, but also serves as the northern terminus of the Keikyu Main Line operated by the private railway operator Keikyu. The station is a major transfer point for passengers on the Toei Asakusa Line because most trains on the Asakusa Line switch to the Keikyu Line past Sengakuji: passengers must usually change trains at Sengakuji to reach Gotanda, Nishi-magome and other stations on the south end of the Asakusa Line. The station is designed with platforms shared between Keikyu and Asakusa Line trains to expedite this connection. The station is named after Sengaku-ji, a nearby temple famous for housing the graves of the Forty-seven rōnin.
