The Palace of Auburn Hills, commonly referred to as the Palace, was a multi-purpose arena built in 1988 and located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It was the home of the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Detroit Shock of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), the Detroit Vipers of the International Hockey League, the Detroit Rockers of the National Professional Soccer League, the Detroit Neon/Detroit Safari of the Continental Indoor Soccer League, and the Detroit Fury of the Arena Football League. The Palace was one of eight basketball arenas owned by their respective NBA franchises.

WXOU (88.3 FM) is a college radio station licensed to Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States, the station serves the metro Detroit area and Oakland County. The station is currently owned by Oakland University. WXOU programming includes music, sports, and news with most being student-produced programs.

Sea Life Michigan Aquarium is the state's largest aquarium with over 250 species and 2,000 creatures including sharks, rays, and green sea turtles. Exhibits include freshwater lakes, coral reef, shipwreck, an interactive touch pool and a 180 degree underwater ocean tunnel. Sea Life Michigan is located at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and is owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments.

The Scripps Mansion (originally called Moulton Manor) is a Normandy Tudor-style mansion located in Orion Township, Michigan. The buildings and surrounding land are known collectively as the William E. Scripps Estate. Since 1956, the property has been part of the campus of Guest House, a residential treatment center for Catholic clergy. The estate was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, formerly Great Lakes Crossing, is a shopping mall in Auburn Hills, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. The site of the mall was originally to have been occupied by a different mall called Auburn Mills, which was never built due to financial issues of its intended developer, Western Development Corporation. Great Lakes Crossing was built on the site and opened in 1998. Constructed and owned by Taubman Centers (itself a subsidiary of Simon Property Group), Great Lakes Crossing Outlets is the largest outlet mall in the state of Michigan. It features 185 stores, with anchor stores including Burlington, Bass Pro Shops, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls; other notable attractions include a 1,000-seat food court, a 25-screen AMC Star movie theater, Round1, Legoland Discovery Center, and Sea Life Michigan.

Auburn Hills is a city in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 21,412 at the 2010 census. Before incorporating as a city in 1983, the area was part of the now-defunct Pontiac Township. It is home to Oakland University and the U.S. headquarters of Stellantis, BorgWarner and Volkswagen. The city is a northern suburb of Metro Detroit and is around 34 miles (55 km) north of the city of Detroit.

Stadium Drive Elementary School of the Arts is an elementary school located in Orion Township, Michigan, USA. It is a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School, awarded for the 2000-2001 school year. One of seven elementary schools in the Lake Orion Community Schools, Stadium Drive was built in 1972 - around the time when many schools were built in the district - and houses Kindergarten through fifth grades. The building includes a gymnasium, a media center, a technology lab, a music room, an art room, and a theater room. Stadium Drive is an arts-focused school, where its administrators believe that "Academics Shine Through the Arts." In addition, Stadium Drive was the first elementary school in the Lake Orion School District to be awarded the Outcomes Endorsement status from the North Central Association. It was awarded the ArtServe Michigan "School of Distinction" status in May 2000.Prosecutors filed weapons charges against a seven-year-old boy who allegedly brought a loaded pistol to the school and threatened the life of a fellow student in March 1999. Authorities said the Stadium Drive student is the youngest child in recent memory to face criminal charges in Oakland County.

Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy is a private Catholic K-12 school in Pontiac, Michigan in Metro Detroit. Founded by Marist Fathers and Brothers in 1994. It is a coed, college-preparatory school.

Pontiac Township is a defunct charter township in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The area consisted of what is now the cities of Pontiac, Auburn Hills, and Lake Angelus. Pontiac Township was bordered on the north by Brown Road and Dutton Road, on the east by South Adams Road (including a line extending north from South Adams Road), on the south by South Boulevard, and on the west by Telegraph Road.

Tommys Lake is a private 42-acre lake in Orion Township in Oakland County, Michigan, United States. The lake is located off of Clarkston Road just east of Joslyn Road.On the east shore of Tommys Lake is Camp Agawam. The camp was a Boy Scout camp founded in 1918 by the Boy Scouts of America's (B.S.A.) Clinton Valley Council. The 140-acre camp served as a summer camp and weekend campout location for countless scouts in Oakland County until being sold by the B.S.A.'s Michigan Crossroads Council to Orion Township in 2014. The camp and lake now host numerous events and activities throughout the year for both Scouts and community members alike.
