The station serves several Amtrak Keystone Service trains daily, as well as all SEPTA Thorndale Line local regional rail trains. The station is 8.5 miles (13.7 km) miles from Suburban Station in Center City Philadelphia, and travel time to Suburban Station is 22 minutes on SEPTA local trains. The station is situated in a large residential population and sees its fair share of reverse commuters. In 2017, the average total weekday SEPTA boardings at this station was 821, and the average total weekday SEPTA alightings was 749. (Note this number might be different because of the COVID-19 Pandemic)

Suburban Square is a community shopping center in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, United States, in the Main Line suburbs of Philadelphia. it has 355,000-square-foot (33,000 m2) of gross leasable area. The center opened in 1928, and is notable as one of the earliest planned suburban shopping centers in the United States. It has also been generally credited as being the first suburban shopping center to include a true department store, when Strawbridge & Clothier opened a four-story, 50,000 sq ft (4,600 m2) branch there on May 12, 1930. The site has grown from its original 7 acres (28,000 m2) to 18 acres (73,000 m2) since its launch. The complex currently includes Suburban Square, Times Building, and the adjacent Ardmore Farmers Market and features more than sixty retail and dining establishments.

Pont Reading is a historic home located in the Ardmore section of Haverford Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It was the residence of shipbuilder and architect Joshua Humphreys, in which he lived his entire life. It was named after his family's homestead, Reading Pont in Wales. Humphreys is most notable for his design of the famous USS Constitution, or "Old Ironsides". The home was built of stone, now stuccoed, in 1730, around a log cabin dating to 1683. The rear kitchen wing was added in 1813. The building is an excellent example of upper-class colonial architecture.The house, which is a private residence, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.In March 2007, Cookie Magazine published an article titled "To the Manor Born" about the house and its owners. The article included internal photographs. The house's owners since 2003 (Chris DeWitt/Oscar Yague) oversaw major restoration to maintain the property.

Ardmore Junction station is a SEPTA transit station in Havertown, Pennsylvania. It serves the Norristown High Speed Line and SEPTA Route 103 bus. The trolley stop is elevated, with the bus stop below on the Ardmore Busway. The 103 bus right-of-way was once part of the Ardmore branch of the Red Arrow trolleys but it was paved to make way for buses when the trolley line was discontinued. Ardmore Junction is on Haverford Road.

It serves the Norristown High Speed Line and is located at Edgewood and Strathmore Roads, although SEPTA gives the address as Beechwood and Karakung Drives. Both local trains and Hughes Park Express trains stop at Beechwood–Brookline. The station lies 2.5 track miles from 69th Street Terminal. The station has off-street parking available.

Old Haverford Friends Meetinghouse is a historic Quaker meeting house at 235 East Eagle Road in Havertown, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. The burial ground attached to Old Haverford Friends Meetinghouse was laid out in 1684. In 1688, the log meetinghouse was built. Later, a stone meetinghouse was subsequently completed in 1700. It is believed that the southern portion of the meetinghouse, with its rougher masonry, is the original stone building. William Penn preached here soon after construction was complete and often attended worship. The northern portion of the building was expanded in 1800. Old Haverford Friends Meeting is an active faith community and center for worship.

Lower Merion High School is a public high school in Ardmore, a community in Philadelphia's Main Line suburbs. It is one of two high schools in the Lower Merion School District; the other one is Harriton High School. Lower Merion serves both Lower Merion Township and the Borough of Narberth. In 2020 Lower Merion ranked number 6 among College Prep Public High Schools in Pennsylvania by Niche.com and U.S. News & World Report ranked Harriton and Lower Merion 13th and 14th in the state respectively. In 2005 Lower Merion was ranked among the top sixty public or private U.S. high schools by The Wall Street Journal. While the school mascot is a bulldog, its athletics teams are known as the "Aces”, honoring the U.S. Air Force “Flying Aces” established by Lower Merion alum Henry Harley "Hap" Arnold (June 25, 1886 – January 15, 1950), an American general officer holding the ranks of General of the Army and General of the Air Force.

It is served by most Paoli/Thorndale Line trains with the exception of a few express runs, and is located on Haverford Station Road. The station was originally built by the Pennsylvania Railroad. There are 169 parking spaces at the station. This station is 9.1 track miles from Suburban Station. In 2017, the average total weekday boardings at this station were 404, and the average total weekday alightings was 328.

Haverford College (CDP) is a census-designated place located in Haverford Township, Delaware County, and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It corresponds to the campus of Haverford College, located on the southwest side of U.S. Route 30, about 10 miles (16 km) northwest of the city of Philadelphia. As of the 2010 census the population was 1,331.
