Benchasiri Park

Emporium is a luxury shopping mall in Khlong Toei District, Bangkok, Thailand. It opened in 27 July 1997. It is owned and operated by The Mall Group, who also operate the EmQuartier and Siam Paragon malls in Bangkok. It is on Sukhumvit Road at Sukhumvit Soi 24 beside Benchasiri Park. It is connected directly to the Phrom Phong Station on the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS Skytrain by a footbridge. Emporium is a major component of the "EM District" and contains a shopping mall, department store, a luxury cinema "Emprivé Cineclub by SF Corporation", a high-end supermarket, food court, office building, exhibition hall, children's play centres and a hotel. Emporium is a popular hub for entertainment, food, and education for local residents and visitors.

EmSphere is a shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand which opened on 1 December 2023. It is the third mall in the "EM District" complex near Phrom Phong BTS station along with Emporium and EmQuartier. All three malls are operated by The Mall Group 15 billion baht was invested in the development of the mall adjacent to Benchasiri Park. It houses Thailand's first downtown IKEA, the world's largest in a city centre, as well as a 6,000-seat arena "EM Live" sponsored by UOB and managed by AEG in addition to numerous shops and restaurants. The site was formerly occupied by an entertainment area called Washington Square.

Washington Square was an entertainment area in Bangkok, Thailand, located for many years at Sukhumvit Soi 22, near the Phrom Phong skytrain station. It contained bars, restaurants, massage parlors and a katoey theatre. Popular mainly with Bangkok expatriates, Middle East oil field workers and older, male, white Americans including many Vietnam War veterans, Bourbon Street was well known for serving Cajun and Creole food and was written up by the Bangkok Post in 2005.The area features in Christopher G. Moore's series of crime novels about private eye Vincent Calvino, and the Texas Lone Staar bar was often mentioned in the mystery novels of Dean Barrett, who once rented an apartment in the Square.Washington Square was completely demolished in 2013, pending the construction of a shopping mall and several high rise buildings. The restaurants and a few of the bars have relocated elsewhere on Sukhumvit Road, but most have simply closed. The Mall Group planned to build a shopping mall on the site. A dinosaur theme park was established on the site in 2016. The theme park closed in April 2018 and construction of the mall, now known as EmSphere, was completed in December 2023.

The EmQuartier is a large shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand opened in May 2015. The mall is connected to Phrom Phong BTS Station on the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS Skytrain. It is one of three malls in the “EM District”, along with Emporium and EmSphere. All three buildings total an area of 2,500,000 square feet of mixed use retail space and are located on a 50-rai plot of land adjacent to Benchasiri Park. The mall is operated by The Mall Group.Designed by the architecture firm Leeser Architecture, the building features a 30-ft open air garden on the fifth floor, six stories of dining terraces sitting atop a helical floor slab, an eight theater cinema complex including an IMAX theater as well as a pedestrian street and five-story waterfall, as well as two stories of underground parking. The mall is divided into three sections, named the Helix Quartier, the Waterfall Quartier and the Glass Quartier.

Phrom Phong station (Thai: สถานีพร้อมพงษ์, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː pʰrɔ́ːm pʰōŋ]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line between Khlong Toei and Watthana Districts, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is on Sukhumvit Road at Soi Phrom Phong (Soi Sukhumvit 39). The area is a popular shopping destination, and the station is linked by skybridge to EmQuartier, Emporium and EmSphere shopping malls with urban green space Benjasiri Park.

Khlong Tan (Thai: คลองตัน, pronounced [kʰlɔ̄ːŋ tān]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) in Khlong Toei district, Bangkok. In 2021, it had a population of 10,573 people.

Sorn (Thai: ศรณ์) is a restaurant in Bangkok specializing in Southern Thai cuisine. Founded by Supaksorn 'Ice' Jongsiri, one of only two Thai chefs to win Michelin stars in 2019, Sorn was ranked 2nd on 2022's list of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants. Located in a restored two-story mansion in Khlong Toei, Sorn sources nearly all of its ingredients from Southern Thailand.

Soi Cowboy (Thai: ซอยคาวบอย, RTGS: Soi Khaoboi, pronounced [sɔ̄ːj kʰāːw.bɔ̄ːj]) is a short (150 meter long) street (soi) in Bangkok, Thailand, with some 40, mostly go-go bars. It caters mainly to tourists and expatriates. Soi Cowboy contains one of the three largest groups of foreign-oriented bars in Bangkok, the other two being Patpong and Soi Nana Tai.

Benjakitti Park (Thai: สวนเบญจกิติ, RTGS: Suan Benchakitti, pronounced [sǔa̯n bēn.t͡ɕàʔ.kìt.tìʔ]) is a public park located in the Khlong Toei District of Bangkok, Thailand. Since its opening in 1992, Benjakitti Park has become a popular destination for outdoor recreation and exercise in Bangkok.

Asok station (Thai: สถานีอโศก, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː ʔā.sòːk]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Watthana and Khlong Toei Districts, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located on Sukhumvit Road at Asok Montri Intersection, with an interchange to MRT Blue Line at Sukhumvit station. Around the station, there are many hotels and facilities for foreign tourists and business people. The area to the west is a continuation of the Nana entertainment zone, and to east is a dense commercial area with numerous skyscrapers.

Terminal 21 (Thai: เทอร์มินอล 21) is a chain of mixed-use complexes with 4 locations in Thailand; Asok and Rama III in Bangkok, Korat, and Pattaya. The first location was opened in October 2011, located on Sukhumvit Road, by the Asoke intersection, in Watthana District of Bangkok, Thailand. The second location, Terminal 21 Korat, was opened in December 2016 and is located on Mittraphap Road in Nakhon Ratchasima Province (also called Korat). Terminal 21 Pattaya was opened in October 2018 and is located in Pattaya District of Chonburi Province. There is a proposal for Terminal 21 Rama III to be built by the Chao Phraya river in the Rama III neighbourhood of Yannawa District in Bangkok. On October 20, 2022, Terminal 21 Rama III officially opened.The name "Terminal 21" is meant to represent the concept that each retail floor represents different touristic cities. The number "21" refers to Soi Sukhumvit 21 (Asok Montri Road) where its first branch in Bangkok is located. Each Terminal 21 complex consists of: a multi-storied retail area with each floors being decorated in the theme of touristic cities around the world, a SF Cinema City movie theatre, and a hotel-and-residence operated by Centre Point Hospitality, a Quality Houses PLC company.

Sukhumvit MRT station (Thai: สถานีสุขุมวิท, RTGS: Sathani Sukhumwit) is an MRT station on the Blue Line, located below Asok Intersection between Sukhumvit Road and Asok Montri Road in Bangkok, Thailand. The station provides an interchange with the BTS Sukhumvit Line. It is one of the busiest stations on the network.The station has three underground levels including a shopping zone.
