Sukhumvit MRT station (Thai: สถานีสุขุมวิท, RTGS: Sathani Sukhumwit) is an MRT station on the Blue Line, located below Asok Intersection between Sukhumvit Road and Asok Montri Road in Bangkok, Thailand. The station provides an interchange with the BTS Sukhumvit Line. It is one of the busiest stations on the network.The station has three underground levels including a shopping zone.

Terminal 21 (Thai: เทอร์มินอล 21) is a chain of mixed-use complexes with 4 locations in Thailand; Asok and Rama III in Bangkok, Korat, and Pattaya. The first location was opened in October 2011, located on Sukhumvit Road, by the Asoke intersection, in Watthana District of Bangkok, Thailand. The second location, Terminal 21 Korat, was opened in December 2016 and is located on Mittraphap Road in Nakhon Ratchasima Province (also called Korat). Terminal 21 Pattaya was opened in October 2018 and is located in Pattaya District of Chonburi Province. There is a proposal for Terminal 21 Rama III to be built by the Chao Phraya river in the Rama III neighbourhood of Yannawa District in Bangkok. On October 20, 2022, Terminal 21 Rama III officially opened.The name "Terminal 21" is meant to represent the concept that each retail floor represents different touristic cities. The number "21" refers to Soi Sukhumvit 21 (Asok Montri Road) where its first branch in Bangkok is located. Each Terminal 21 complex consists of: a multi-storied retail area with each floors being decorated in the theme of touristic cities around the world, a SF Cinema City movie theatre, and a hotel-and-residence operated by Centre Point Hospitality, a Quality Houses PLC company.

Asok station (Thai: สถานีอโศก, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː ʔā.sòːk]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Watthana and Khlong Toei Districts, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located on Sukhumvit Road at Asok Montri Intersection, with an interchange to MRT Blue Line at Sukhumvit station. Around the station, there are many hotels and facilities for foreign tourists and business people. The area to the west is a continuation of the Nana entertainment zone, and to east is a dense commercial area with numerous skyscrapers.

The Kamthieng House Museum (Thai: พิพิธภัณฑ์เรือนคำเที่ยง) is a museum in Watthana District, Bangkok, run by the Siam Society under royal patronage. It is a 174-year-old traditional teakwood house from Chiang Mai that was transported to Bangkok and opened by King Bhumibol in 1966. The house is an example of traditional housing from Northern Thailand and showcases the culture and lifestyle of the northern Lanna people. Due to its exposure to the elements for around 2 centuries, the house is in a fragile state, with the roof being in need for renovation.

Clinton Plaza was a thriving but short-lived nightlife district in Bangkok, Thailand, on Sukhumvit Road between Soi 13 and Soi 15. Its location was excellent, being midway between the Nana Entertainment Plaza to the west and the Soi Cowboy nightlife area to the east. The plaza, the brainchild of a Dutchman and an American, but then in 1999 was taken over by a New Zealand entrepreneur, began as a collection of beer bars in 1998. The following year it was named after then U.S. President Bill Clinton. A number of lively go-go bars appeared in 2000. Many of the names were tongue in cheek jabs at the president, including Monica Beer Bar, Bill's Coffee House and the White House.In 2001 the Interior Minister of Thailand, Purachai Piumsombun, began a campaign to enforce his ideas of social order. A 01:00 closing hour for all bars and nightclubs was enforced and employment of nude dancers was discouraged. The shortened hours, combined with contractual disputes related to redevelopment plans, led to the complete shut down of the bar area by May 2003. The existing structures were razed and a hotel has since been built on the location. The Clinton Plaza bars Checkpoint Charlie and Hollywood-a-Go-Go appear in Jordan Clark's 2005 documentary Falang: Behind Bangkok's Smile which takes a critical view of sex tourism in Thailand.

Chuvit Garden (also known as Chuwit Park) was a private park in Bangkok, at Sukhumvit Soi 10. It was created in 2006 by Chuwit Kamolvisit who owns the area. The block was formerly known as Sukhumvit Square. The park was open to the public daily from 08:00 to 10:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. In the early hours of 26 January 2003 about 120 bars and other businesses on this plot of land were demolished. Chuwit was accused of having masterminded this action to get rid of unwanted tenants. In an interview in 2004, he admitted to having paid police to carry out the raid, but when they later demanded more money he refused. He was acquitted of all charges related to the raid in July 2006.In the late 2017, this park was closed by Chuwit Kamolvisit sold this land to Land and Houses with a value of 5,000 million baht.

Asok Montri Road, or Soi Sukhumvit 21 (also Asoke Montri Road, Thai: ถนนอโศกมนตรี, RTGS: Thanon Asok Montri, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn ʔā.sòːk mōn.trīː]), is a major road in Bangkok, Thailand. It is often referred to as simply Asok or Asoke. It runs north from Sukhuvmit Road and forms part of the Ratchadaphisek inner ring road. It contains many offices buildings and shops. Although the road has a capacity of 35,000, more than 100,000 vehicles use the road daily, causing major congestion. The junction of Sukhuvmit Road and Asok Montri Road is a major road junction known as Asok Intersection, and is also the location of Asok BTS station and Sukhumvit MRT station. In 2013 there were plans to build an elevated highway but as of 2019 construction has not started.

Washington Square was an entertainment area in Bangkok, Thailand, located for many years at Sukhumvit Soi 22, near the Phrom Phong skytrain station. It contained bars, restaurants, massage parlors and a katoey theatre. Popular mainly with Bangkok expatriates, Middle East oil field workers and older, male, white Americans including many Vietnam War veterans, Bourbon Street was well known for serving Cajun and Creole food and was written up by the Bangkok Post in 2005.The area features in Christopher G. Moore's series of crime novels about private eye Vincent Calvino, and the Texas Lone Staar bar was often mentioned in the mystery novels of Dean Barrett, who once rented an apartment in the Square.Washington Square was completely demolished in 2013, pending the construction of a shopping mall and several high rise buildings. The restaurants and a few of the bars have relocated elsewhere on Sukhumvit Road, but most have simply closed. The Mall Group planned to build a shopping mall on the site. A dinosaur theme park was established on the site in 2016. The theme park closed in April 2018 and construction of the mall, now known as EmSphere, was completed in December 2023.

The Israeli Bangkok embassy hostage crisis occurred on 28 December 1972. It was a raid by a squad of four Palestinian militants, belonging to the Black September organization, on the Israeli embassy building in Bangkok in which the terrorists held six Israeli embassy staff hostage. After 19 hours of negotiations, the terrorists agreed to abandon the embassy in exchange for being flown to Egypt. The raid was one of a number of attacks that have been conducted against Israeli embassies and diplomats.

EmSphere is a shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand which opened on 1 December 2023. It is the third mall in the "EM District" complex near Phrom Phong BTS station along with Emporium and EmQuartier. All three malls are operated by The Mall Group 15 billion baht was invested in the development of the mall adjacent to Benchasiri Park. It houses Thailand's first downtown IKEA, the world's largest in a city centre, as well as a 6,000-seat arena "EM Live" sponsored by UOB and managed by AEG in addition to numerous shops and restaurants. The site was formerly occupied by an entertainment area called Washington Square.

The ESSE Asoke is a skyscraper in Bangkok, Thailand that stands at 777 feet tall. It was completed in 2019. It is a residential tower with 419 individual residences.

The Evangelical Church of Bangkok is situated at 42 Sukhumvit Soi 10, Bangkok, Thailand. It is an international church, a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America, a denomination of Protestant churches, and is affiliated to the Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand. The Evangelical Church of Bangkok was established in 1966 by the Christian and Missionary Alliance as a base for preaching by missionaries and grew into a multi-cultural congregation with members from over 40 countries from different denominational backgrounds.
