PacWest Center

Southwest 6th & Madison Street and City Hall/Southwest 5th & Jefferson Street stations are a pair of light rail stations on the MAX Green, Orange and Yellow Lines in Portland, Oregon. It is the fifth stop southbound on the Portland Transit Mall extension. The stations are built into the sidewalks of 5th and 6th Avenues, with the 5th Avenue platform heading southbound and the 6th Avenue platform northbound. They are located at the base of the PacWest Center. Points of interest include the Wells Fargo Center, the Portland Building, Portland City Hall, and other numerous government buildings in Downtown Portland. The station serves all bus lines on 5th Avenue and 45–Garden Home Rd, 58–Canyon Rd, 55-Hamilton and 38–Boones Ferry Rd. The stop ID number for the bus stop is 12791. On 5th Ave, lines 17–Hogate-Broadway, 9–Powell Blvd and 19–Woodstock-Gilsan are one block away from the station. The stop ID number for this bus stop is 7594. When opened on August 30, 2009, the stations were located in Fareless Square (within fare zone 1), which was renamed the Free Rail Zone four months later, in January 2010. However, the fare-free zone was eliminated in 2012, when TriMet discontinued all use of fare zones.

The Ambassador Apartments is a historic building in downtown Portland, Oregon, United States. Since 1979, it has been on the National Register of Historic Places.Described as Jacobean, the Ambassador Apartments is unique in Portland for substituting Idaho sandstone instead of the glazed terra-cotta common in the facades and trim of structures dating from the 1920s. It is a nine-story H-shaped building with about 6,000 square feet (560 m2) per floor.The building has been the residence of many prominent business and professional people, including lumber company owner Louis Gerlinger Sr. during 1929-1940 and William Simon U'Ren during 1927–1949. Edith Green maintained an office on the ground floor.Located on prime downtown real estate, the building has now been converted into condominiums. In 1999, the smallest unit available was advertised for $148,000.

The University Club of Portland is a private social club that was established in 1898 located in downtown Portland, Oregon. It is known as "Portland's Premier Private Social Club". The clubhouse was built in 1913 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.In 2017, the University Club voted in its first female president, Elizabeth Schleuning.

Unitus Plaza (formerly Hoffman Columbia Plaza) is a building at 1300 SW 6th Avenue in Portland, Oregon. The structure was purchased by Menashe Properties in 2018.

Running Horses is an outdoor 1986 bronze sculpture by Tom Hardy, located on the Transit Mall in downtown Portland, Oregon. It is part of the City of Portland and Multnomah County Public Art Collection courtesy of the Regional Arts & Culture Council.

Ring of Time, also known as The Ring of Time, is an outdoor bronze sculpture by Hilda Grossman Morris, located at the entrance to the Standard Plaza in Portland, Oregon. The allegorical sculpture was created during 1965–1967 and is owned by the Standard Insurance Company.

The Gus J. Solomon United States Courthouse is a federal courthouse located in downtown Portland, Oregon, United States. Completed in 1933, it previously housed the United States District Court for the District of Oregon until the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse opened in 1997. The Renaissance Revival courthouse currently is used by commercial tenants and formerly housed a U.S. Postal Service branch. In 1979, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places as U.S. Courthouse.

Standard Plaza is a 16-story office building in downtown Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon. At 222 feet (68 m) in height, it was the largest office building in Oregon when it was completed in 1963. The 217,000-square-foot (20,200 m2) structure, occupying a city block on SW 6th Avenue between Main Street and Madison Street, is owned by Standard Insurance Company, which also owns the neighboring Standard Insurance Center. It was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in the international style.

Ventana al Pacifico ("Window on the Pacific" in English) is an outdoor 1989 marble sculpture by Manuel Neri, located outside of the Gus J. Solomon United States Courthouse in downtown Portland, Oregon.

Nel Centro was a restaurant in downtown Portland, Oregon. The restaurant opened in 2009 and closed in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Portland City Hall is the headquarters of city government of Portland, Oregon, United States. The four-story Italian Renaissance-style building houses the offices of the City Council, which consists of the mayor and four commissioners, and several other offices. City Hall is also home to the City Council chambers, located in the rotunda on the east side of the structure. Completed in 1895, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 21, 1974. City Hall has gone through several renovations, with the most recent overhaul gutting the interior to upgrade it to modern seismic and safety standards. The original was built for $600,000, while the 1996 to 1998 renovation cost $29 million. Located in downtown Portland, City Hall sits on an entire city block along Fourth and Fifth avenues at Madison and Jefferson Streets. To the south is the Wells Fargo Center, and to the north is the Portland Building. Terry Schrunk Plaza (named for a former mayor) is across Fourth Avenue to the east. In addition to more than 87,000 square feet (8,100 m2) of interior space, the exterior consists of landscaped grounds. The main entrance is located on Fourth Avenue, though for a time it was located on the Fifth Avenue side.
