The Little Chapel by the Courthouse is also owned by We've Only Just Begun Inc., also the owners of A Little White Wedding Chapel. Charolette Richards, the owner, also has had association with the Little Church of the West. Richards has worked at the chapel since the late 1950s. She came into the wedding business after her first husband abandoned her in Las Vegas, and Merle Edwards, who worked in the wedding chapel business, rescued her from the street and soon after became her second husband. He died in 1982. She has presided over the marriages of Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Michael Jordan, Britney Spears, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.The chapel has been featured on such TV shows as WWE Raw, Supernatural, Friends and Good Morning America. Michael Ross and Naomi Defensor, two cast members on the 2011 season of The Real World: Las Vegas, participated in a mock wedding at the Chapel during the June 1, 2011 season finale of that series.

Mon Bel Ami Wedding Chapel is a wedding chapel located on Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Established in 2003, the chapel is a modern renovation of the Silver Bell Wedding Chapel which was built in the 1950s. The venue hosts weddings, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, same-sex weddings and wedding receptions for couples traveling to Las Vegas to get married from all over the world.

Silver Bell Wedding Chapel (a.k.a. Silver Bells Wedding Chapel) was a wedding chapel located on Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Established in the 1950s the site was host to hundreds of thousands of weddings in its history including the celebrity weddings of Burt Bacharach and Angie Dickenson in 1965 and Rodney Dangerfield to Joan Child in 1993. It was also featured in the television movie Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas and the film Lost in America. In 2002 the chapel was damaged in a fire. It was sold into new ownership and renovated in 2003 and re-opened as Mon Bel Ami Wedding Chapel which remains in business at the same location today.Cathy and Joe Hubbard also got married here on March 10, 1974. Scott and Candace Campbell were also married here on June 1, 1994.

Las Vegas High School Neighborhood Historic District, is a historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. The Las Vegas High School Academic Building and Gymnasium, already listed on the National Register in 1986, is included as a contributing property within the district. That property was later expanded to include Fraser Hall in 2021 and to include the entire 15 acres (6.1 ha) campus of the Las Vegas High School in 2022. When nominated, the area included 236 properties of which 4 were listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a total of 150 properties were contributing properties.

The Las Vegas Arts District, or the 18b in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada was created in 1998 as an 18 block zone set aside to encourage art and artists.The district won Las Vegas Review-Journal's Best of Las Vegas award in 2005.Known as the 18b, the Las Vegas Arts District contains a mix of independent businesses including vintage clothing boutiques, antique stores, art galleries, hair salons, residences, restaurants and breweries. The 18b is located halfway between the Fremont East Entertainment district and the Stratosphere Resort, clustered around Main and Charleston, bounded loosely by Commerce Street to the West, Hoover Avenue to the North, Fourth Street to the East and Colorado Avenue at the south. It is an easy bike ride, walk or bus ride from Fremont Street. The name, "18b," represents the original Arts District area, which consisted of 18 blocks. Today, the Arts District area has grown beyond those original 18 blocks and is a classic urban mix of residential, commercial and cultural uses that will continue to grow as the hub of the arts scene in Las Vegas. Eclectic, fun, funky and always changing, the 18b continues to grow, offering visitors and locals a taste of Las Vegas that is not the average tourist spot.

Juhl is a mixed-use property in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It features six residential buildings, including a 15-story condominium tower, in addition to restaurants and retailers. Groundbreaking took place in 2006, but construction delays pushed the opening back more than a year. It opened in June 2009, with 341 condominium units, but buyers had difficulty finalizing their condo purchases due to the effects of the Great Recession. In 2013, Juhl's 306 unsold units were sold to a partnership of companies, which turned them into rentals and, in 2017, began putting the rental units back up for sale as condominiums.

Huntridge Theater sometimes known as the Huntridge Performing Arts Theater is a Streamline Moderne building located in Las Vegas, Nevada, that is listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places. The building was designed by S. Charles Lee. First opened as a cinema, the theater also hosted stage performances and was a concert venue throughout its lengthy history. In 2021, the Huntridge was bought after sitting abandoned for almost 17 years. The theater is expected to be fully remodeled and reopened to the public in the near future.

The Las Vegas Grammar School on Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as the Historic Fifth Street School, is a school listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Nevada and is located in the city of Las Vegas. Built in 1936, the mission style building is the only one remaining from that era. The school sits on a 20-acre (8.1 ha) site on Las Vegas Boulevard. After the renovations, the main entrance and address for the school will be changed to Fourth Street.(The official Address as of 2008 is now 401 S. Fourth St. Ste. 145 Las Vegas, NV 89101) City of Las Vegas Historic Fifth Street School

The Las Vegas courthouse shooting was an attack on January 4, 2010, in which a gunman opened fire in the lobby of the Lloyd D. George Federal District Courthouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. Two people were killed in the attack, including the gunman, who was identified by authorities as Johnny Lee Wicks, a 66-year-old man disgruntled over cuts to his Social Security benefits. Stanley W. Cooper, a 72-year-old court security officer, was also killed after a shotgun blast struck him in the chest. A 48-year-old deputy U.S. Marshal named Richard "Joe" Gardner was shot in the upper arm, chest, and head, with a total of eight pieces of buckshot entering his body, and hospitalized at the University Medical Center, but survived.

The Railroad Cottage Historic District is an area originally comprising eight historic cottages along Casino Center Boulevard in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The eight cottages had once been part of a development of 64 homes constructed by the San Pedro, Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad to provide housing for their employees. Although a handful of cottages still existed at the time, only eight neighboring cottages were included in the district when it was created in 1987. Beginning in 2005, all but one of the eight cottages in the district were demolished or moved to clear land for the failed Club Renaissance condominium tower.
