The Gomez Mill House is located in the Town of Newburgh, New York, USA, on Mill House Road a short distance off US 9W, just south of the Orange–Ulster county line (its mailing address is in nearby Marlboro, in the latter). Over 300 years old, it is the earliest known surviving Jewish dwelling in North America and the oldest home in Orange County listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

There were 115 students (18.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 48 (7.7% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Elliot–Buckley House, also known as Riverview, is a historic home located near Marlboro, Ulster County, New York. The house was built about 1843, and is a two-story, "T"-shaped, Picturesque influenced heavy timber frame dwelling with a cross-gable roof. It has a raised basement and is sheathed in clapboard. The house was remodeled in the Colonial Revival style and an addition built about 1924. Also on the property is a contributing octagonal well house. It was built by Dr. Daniel Elliot, and sold to the Buckley family in 1866.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Shady Brook Farm is a historic home located at Marlboro, Ulster County, New York. The house was originally built about 1850 in the Greek Revival style, and substantially enlarged and remodeled about 1917. It consists of two two-story, gable-roofed blocks. The front facade features a picturesque front porch with Gothic Revival style design elements. Also on the property are the contributing 2+1⁄2-story "South Cottage" (c. 1890) and a carriage barn (c. 1890). After 1917, the main house was used as a summer boarding house until 1954.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Dubois-Sarles Octagon is an octagon house located on South Street in Marlboro, New York, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. As of 2018 it was only one of 15 eight-sided houses left in New York State.First built around 1850 by Hudson Dubois and his family, it was renovated in 1872 by Alton and Helen Sarles. As a result, it reflects two different architectural styles: Italianate and Second Empire. Unlike most other American octagon houses of the period, its interior follows a sidehall plan, rather than the radial center plan advocated by Orson Squire Fowler.

Marlboro is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 3,669 at the 2020 census. Marlboro is in the southeastern part of the town of Marlborough, located in the southeastern corner of the county.

Christ Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located in Marlboro, Ulster County, New York. The church was designed by architect Richard Upjohn and built in 1858 in the Gothic Revival style. It is built of dark red brick with contrasting brownstone detailing. It features a square entry tower and polygonal apse with steeply pitched roofs, with polychrome slate shingles on the main section. It also has a notable collection of stained glass windows designed by D. Maitland Armstrong (1836-1918). Also on the property is the church rectory (1863) and cemetery, with burials dating before 1840.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Danskammer Generating Station is located on the shore of the Hudson River in the Town of Newburgh, New York, United States, 0.5 miles (0.8 km) upstream of the larger oil-fired Roseton Generating Station. Danskammer 'units 1 and 2 burn natural gas as a primary fuel, and oil as a backup fuel (72 and 73.5 MWe nameplate capacity), whereas units 3 and 4 are exclusively fired with natural gas (147.1 and 239.4 MWe nameplate capacity).The station was built by Central Hudson Gas & Electric in the 1950s, and sold to Dynegy in 2001 as part of electricity deregulation. Dynegy sold the plant to Helios Power Capital, LLC in 2013, who in turn sold it to Mercuria Energy Group; Mercuria sold it to Tiger Infrastructure, a private equity firm based on 5th Avenue in New York City, and Agate Power. As of 2018, it is owned by Danskammer Energy, LLC. In 2018, Danskammer Energy filed an application with the New York State Public Service Commission to build a new, larger plant uphill of the current site that would be a more efficient combined cycle facility with an air cooled condenser to reduce water draw, and which would run as a baseload station (able to run all the time), rather than a peaker plant (running just a few hours per week). The peaker plant has been the target of a prolonged environmental lawsuit over its cooling system. The proposed baseload plant is also garnering community protest, as it would increase air pollutants in an already environmentally sensitive area. PFAS chemicals in the water supply of the City of Newburgh have resulted in a residential population which has a lowered immune response and higher cancer risk. Emergency asthma admissions in the City of Newburgh are 2.5 times higher than the New York State Average. As of January 2021, 25 communities have passed resolutions opposing the plant expansion.

Danskammer Point Light was a lighthouse on Danskammer Point in the Town of Newburgh in New York, along the banks of the Hudson River. It was later demolished and is now the site of the Danskammer Generating Station.

Chelsea is a hamlet of the Town of Wappinger in Dutchess County, New York, United States. It is located on the Hudson River in the southwestern corner of the town. It takes the ZIP Code 12512 and is in the 845 telephone area code, and has its own fire district. Chelsea is a small community, primarily residential. A marina is located on the river. Just north of the hamlet is a large pumping station used by the New York City water supply system during droughts to take water directly from the river, since the hamlet is located around the point where the river water becomes fresh enough to drink even in the dryest of times.

The Captain Moses W. Collyer House, also Driftwood, is located on River Road South in Chelsea, New York, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. It was the home of Collyer, a riverboat captain on the nearby Hudson, from 1899 until his death on September 22, 1942, as noted by New York Times. A few years after moving in, he cowrote The Sloops of the Hudson, a memoir and history of the years when sailboats were the primary means of getting up and down the river. An exhaustive and complete work that drew on Collyer's background in a riverfaring family, it is today considered the definitive history of that era and its boats. The house itself, built just before the turn of the 20th century, is an eclectic mixture of Late Victorian styles reflecting Collyer's experience traveling the river and its port communities. It is still a private residence, and not open to the public.

Echo Lawn Estate, also known as Stonegate after the Great War, is a historic estate located at Balmville in Orange County, New York. The main house was built about 1860 and is a two-story brick dwelling in the Second Empire style. It features sweeping concave mansard-type roofs. Also on the property is a cluster of mid-19th-century service buildings, an early 20th-century formal garden, and a substantial set of Arts and Crafts inspired gateposts and stone walls.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
