Agincourt GO Station

Knox Presbyterian Church is located at 4156 Sheppard Avenue East in the Agincourt neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was formed by former members of the "Historic" Knox Presbyterian Church (now Knox United Church) after that Presbyterian congregation voted 136-106 in 1925 to join the United Church of Canada. The new congregation was initially assisted by the Minister and Elders of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Scarborough, but has also grown over the years; their 1950s extension is named the "John Forbes Hall" after the Minister of that era (1950–1969). Recent ministers of this church include: Rev. Dr. Robert P Carter (1974–1987, died August 2007), Rev Gordon Hastings (1988–1996), Reverends Dr H. Glen (Moderator of the 2000 General Assembly) and Joyce Davis (1996–2003), Dr. Jeff Loach (2004–2006), now the regional director of the Canadian Bible Society. Interim Moderator Rev. Dr. Ian Clark served in 2004, and returned for 2006-07, and led the Induction Service on July 29, 2007 for Rev. Harry J. Bradley. There is great co-operation between the two Knox Churches, as well as other congregations in the Agincourt area with joint ministerials, and social ministries and spiritual programmes such as Alpha.

Agincourt Collegiate Institute (known locally as ACI or Agincourt), formerly known as Agincourt High School and Agincourt Continuation School is a secondary school located in Agincourt, a neighbourhood in the Scarborough area of Toronto, Ontario, owned and operated by the Toronto District School Board that was sanctioned by the Scarborough Board of Education prior to amalgamation in 1998. A.C.I is one of the oldest surviving secondary high schools in the former Scarborough in the north, the other being R. H. King Academy (formerly known as Scarborough High School/Collegiate Institute) in the south.

The Knox United Church, began as Knox Presbyterian Church in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in a wood-frame church built in 1848, the result of the Church of Scotland disruption, that led to the formation of the Presbyterian Church of Canada in Connection with the Free Church of Scotland. Elder William Clarke, Sr., was one of the group who withdrew from the "Auld Kirk" at the Synod Meeting held in Kingston, Canada West in July, 1844; his Minister, Rev. James George, and much of the Presbyterian Church at Scarborough in Connection with the Church of Scotland (now St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Scarborough located north of Thomson Memorial Park) remained. The original Knox Congregation (named after Scottish Church reformer John Knox) met first with another congregation located in York Mills, until settling in the developing Scarborough Township village of Agincourt. 40 local residents became the first communicants of Knox Presbyterian Church, originally known as "Knox's Church Scarboro". In 1853, it became the centre of the "Scarborough Township Pastoral Charge", along with Melville (formed 1851) in West Hill, Zion Church, Cedar Grove (formed 1855), in Markham Township, Chalmers Church, York Town Line (1863–1890), and other occasional preaching points. By 1883, Knox Church had grown to become a single-point charge. With a growing membership, the current brick church was built in 1872. This church still stands at the corner of Sheppard Avenue East and Midland Avenue, surrounded by a large cemetery containing many early settlers, and a number of prominent Church leaders. In 1925, this Presbyterian congregation voted 136–106 to be part of the new United Church of Canada. A number of members left to form a "Continuing" Knox Presbyterian Church, now located nearby at 4156 Sheppard Avenue East. The Christian Education Centre was added in the 1950s.

Agincourt () is a neighbourhood and former village in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Agincourt is located in northeast Toronto, along Sheppard Avenue between Kennedy and Markham Roads (north-south includes lands between Highway 401 and Finch Avenue). It is officially recognized by the City of Toronto as occupying the neighbourhoods of Agincourt South–Malvern West and Agincourt North. The name Agincourt is often used to refer to a larger area of northwest Scarborough rather than just the officially recognized neighbourhood. The area to the west of Agincourt, officially named Tam O'Shanter–Sullivan is often included as part of Agincourt, and the Agincourt Mall is located in Tam O'Shanter. The section of Agincourt west of Midland Avenue belongs to the electoral district of Scarborough—Agincourt, while the section to the east is part of Scarborough North (federal, previously Scarborough—Rouge River) or Scarborough—Rouge River (provincial, until the 2018 provincial election, when it will be replaced with Scarborough North).

Thamil Isai Kalaamanram (Tamil: தமிழ் இசை கலாமன்றம்) (TIKM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting carnatic music and bharathanatyam dance in Ontario, Canada, headquartered in Toronto. Founded in 1992, this Toronto-based organization has grown to become the widely accepted conservatory of South Indian music and dance, servicing over 160 classical music teachers in Canada.

Agincourt Mall is a shopping mall located at the northwest corner of Kennedy Road and Sheppard Avenue, in the Tam O'Shanter – Sullivan neighbourhood of Scarborough, in northeastern Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is named for the adjacent historic village and current Toronto neighbourhood of Agincourt.

Sir William Osler High School (SWOHS), formerly Sir William Osler Vocational school is a small specialized public vocational high school in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, opened in 1975, named after Sir William Osler, a Canadian doctor and medical educator.

Tam O'Shanter-Sullivan is a neighbourhood in the east end of the city of Toronto, in the district of Scarborough. The neighbourhood is bordered by Huntingwood Drive to the North, Kennedy Road to the East, Highway 401 to the South and Victoria Park (and Pharmacy Ave) to the West. The neighbourhood, which includes the Tam O'Shanter (east of Warden) and Sullivan (west of Warden) communities, takes its name from Tam O’Shanter Golf Course and O'Sullivan's Corners. The neighbourhood is sometimes included as part of the neighbourhood of Agincourt, which borders Tam O'Shanter to the east. Both regions are part of the electoral district of Scarborough—Agincourt, and the Agincourt Mall is located in Tam O'Shanter.

Finch–Kennedy GO Station (also referred to as Finch East) is a planned commuter train station in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It will be an infill station on the Stouffville line of GO Transit in Scarborough, between Milliken GO and Agincourt GO. The station is one of five GO stations to be built as part of the SmartTrack Stations Program to adapt regional commuter service for urban public transit. Construction will start in 2022 for completion in 2026.A grade separation will be built prior to the construction of the station. The station will be located between Midland Avenue and Milliken Boulevard, and the station's main building on the north side of Finch Avenue East, on the east side of the railway right-of-way. The station will have two side platforms with canopies and heated shelters. From a new signalized intersection at Baylawn Drive and Finch Avenue, a new access road will provide vehicular access to the main station building where an accessible pedestrian pickup/drop-off area and bicycle parking will be located. Finch Avenue will be widened to six lanes under the railway bridge. The two curb lanes will be for buses only, able to accommodate three articulated buses in each direction. Bus riders from either direction can access either station platform via four access points below the railway bridge, each access point having stairs and an elevator. In addition to the six lanes, there will be pedestrian sidewalks and bicycle lanes under the bridge. Midland is a rapid transit station on Line 3 Scarborough of the Toronto subway in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on Midland Avenue between Ellesmere Road and Progress Avenue.In February 2021, the TTC recommended the closure of Line 3 in 2023 and its replacement by bus service until the completion of Scarborough extension of Line 2 Bloor–Danforth. This closure would also include this station.

Ellesmere is a rapid transit station on Line 3 Scarborough of the Toronto subway in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at Ellesmere Road, between Kennedy Road and Midland Avenue.Ellesmere is the least-used station on the entire TTC network. On average, only 1,850 passengers boarded trains here each day in 2006–2007 and only 1,678 in 2007–2008. Part of the reason for this is that there are no bus bays or at least a direct connection to any bus stop at the station; passengers would have to walk to the nearest bus stop on Ellesmere Road.In February 2021, the TTC recommended the closure of Line 3 in 2023 and its replacement by bus service until the completion of Scarborough extension of Line 2 Bloor–Danforth. This closure would also include this station.

Charles O. Bick College was a police college operated by the Training and Education unit of the Toronto Police Service to train various levels of police from new recruits to senior managers. The facility was accredited by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services to design and deliver specialized police courses. The facility was opened in 1977 and was located at 4620 Finch Avenue East in Scarborough and consisted of 14 classrooms, 2 computer labs, a range, pool and gymnasium. The college was made up of the following sections: Human Relations, Investigative Training, Officer Safety, Recruit Training, Police Vehicle Operations, Traffic and Provincial Statutes, Tactical Training - Firearms. The college was named after Judge Charles O. Bick, founding chairman of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Commission. The facility closed in July 2009, and was replaced by the new Toronto Police College located at 70 Birmingham Street in southern Etobicoke.The 75830 square feet building sits on 2.33 arces lot. The building was last used by a private school, Ontario International College, for a brief period after the police vacated the premises. Build Toronto is in the process of disposing of the property via sale.
