Xizhimen (Chinese: 西直门; pinyin: Xīzhímén) was a gate in the Beijing city wall and is now a transportation node in Beijing. The gate was the entrance of drinking water for the Emperor, coming from the Jade Spring Hills to the west of Beijing. The gate was demolished in 1969.

Xizhimen station (simplified Chinese: 西直门站; traditional Chinese: 西直門站; pinyin: Xīzhímén zhàn) is an interchange station for Line 2, Line 4 and Line 13 of the Beijing Subway. Just outside this station is Beijing North railway station. Line 2 opened on September 20, 1984; Line 13 opened on January 28, 2003; and Line 4 opened on September 28, 2009. With the addition of Line 13 and Line 4, Xizhi Men Station became the second 3-way transfer station (the first was Dongzhimen Station, being the intersection of Line 2, Line 13, and Airport Express). With a peak daily ridership of over 770,000 passengers, Xizhi Men Station is also one of the most crowded stations of the whole Beijing Subway system. It sees over 170,000 transfers per day between the 3 lines serving the station.

Chegongzhuang Station (simplified Chinese: 车公庄站; traditional Chinese: 車公莊站; pinyin: Chēgōngzhuāng Zhàn) is an interchange station on Line 2 and Line 6 of the Beijing Subway. The station is on intersection of Chegongzhuang street and the West 2nd Ring Road. It provides direct access to Guanyuan Park.

Xinjiekou station (Chinese: 新街口站; pinyin: Xīnjiēkǒu Zhàn) is a station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway.

Xinjiekou (Chinese: 新街口; pinyin: Xīnjiēkǒu) is a subdistrict of Xicheng District (西城区) of Beijing, China. As of 2020, the subdistrict has a total population of 84,866.The subdistrict got its name from a section of road on the eastern portion of Xizhimennei Avenue, which used to be a river port but underwent land reclamation in 1438. The newly created land was settled, and recorded as Xinjiekou (Chinese: 新街口; lit. 'New Intersection') in 1593.

The Beijing Lu Xun Museum (Chinese: 北京鲁迅博物馆) is a museum in Fucheng Gate Avenue, Beijing, China. The buildings in which the museum situated at was Lu Xun's former Beijing residence. The writer's house museum was established in 1956. The museum is dedicated to Lu Xun's life and achievements and features large quantities of scripts, photos, pictures related to Lu. In addition to materials related to Lu Xun, the museum contains a large collection of artworks.

Ping'anli station (Chinese: 平安里站; pinyin: Píng'ānlǐ zhàn) is an interchange station on Line 4, Line 6 and Line 19 of Beijing Subway.

The Miaoying Temple (simplified Chinese: 妙应寺; traditional Chinese: 妙應寺; pinyin: Miàoyìng Sì), also known as the "White Stupa Temple" (Chinese: 白塔寺; pinyin: Báitǎ Sì), is a Chinese Buddhist temple on the north side of Fuchengmennei Street in the Xicheng District of Beijing. The temple was a monastery of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism and is now open to the public as a museum. The temple's White Pagoda was built 1279 in the Yuan Dynasty and is the oldest and largest Tibetan Buddhist pagoda in China.

Fuchengmen Station (simplified Chinese: 阜成门站; traditional Chinese: 阜成門站; pinyin: Fùchéngmén Zhàn) is a station on Line 2 of the Beijing Subway.

The Guangji Temple (simplified Chinese: 广济寺; traditional Chinese: 廣濟寺; pinyin: Guǎngjì Sì) is a Buddhist temple located at inner Fuchengmen Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, China. It is also the headquarters of the Buddhist Association of China, founded by Master Xuyun, who is the father of modern Buddhism and hailed from Zhenru Temple. The current abbot is Shi Yanjue. Originally built in the Jin dynasty (1115-1234), additions were made to the temple by successive dynasties. However, the present temple was completed during the Ming dynasty (1368–1644). It covers an area of 5.766 acres (23,330 m2). The major structures in the temple divides between the main gate and four other large halls and many other temples.The temple houses a wall of 18 Buddhist figures, many Ming dynasty religious relics and a library of over 100,000 volumes of scriptures in 20 different languages, some of which date back to the time of the Song dynasty (960–1279).

Deshengmen (simplified Chinese: 德胜门; traditional Chinese: 德勝門; pinyin: Déshèngmén; lit. 'Gate of Virtuous Triumph') is a city gate that was once part of Beijing's northern city wall. It is one of Beijing's few preserved city gates and now stands as a landmark on the northern 2nd Ring Road. The original gate complex, built in 1437, was composed of three structures – the gatehouse, archery tower, and barbican. The gatehouse proper was demolished in 1921, and the city wall was torn down in 1969. Today only the archery tower and the barbican survives. They overlook the northern city moat, and house an ancient coin exhibition inside. Deshengmen is now a major transportation node in northern Beijing. The gate complex is surrounded by the Deshengmen bridge, a rotary overpass that channels traffic from the 2nd Ring Road to the Badaling Expressway. The street that once passed through the gate is still named in relation to it. South of Deshengmen and inside the old city wall is Deshengmen Inner Street. To the north, it is called Deshengmen Outer Street. Deshengmen means "Gate of Virtuous Triumph." In traditional times, the imperial military would march out of Beijing through Deshengmen, and return through Andingmen, the Gate of Peace and Stability.

Jishuitan station (Chinese: 积水潭站; pinyin: Jīshuǐtán Zhàn) is a station on Line 2 and Line 19 of the Beijing Subway.
