Xinjiekou station (Chinese: 新街口站; pinyin: Xīnjiēkǒu Zhàn) is a station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway.

Beijing Jishuitan Hospital [1] (JST Hospital; simplified Chinese: 北京积水潭医院; traditional Chinese: 北京積水潭醫院), is a large public teaching hospital in Beijing, focusing mainly on orthopaedics and burn surgery. Founded in 1956, the hospital now has around 1000 beds. Its performance in medical care, teaching and researching led to it becoming the Fourth Medical College of Peking University. The hospital now has 200 doctors and 2200 other staff. The hospital has fully equipped departments of orthopaedics, spine surgery, adult joint reconstructive surgery, orthopaedic trauma, hand surgery, paediatric orthopaedics, bone tumor, sports medicines and burn surgery. Some departments of the hospital are ranked among the leading positions in China, in particular orthopaedics and burn surgery. Special units based at the hospital include Beijing Bone and Arthropathy Research Center, Beijing Traumotology and Orthopaedics Research Center, Beijing Hand Surgery Research Center, Beijing Burn Surgery Research Center and Post Operative Total Joint Arthroplasty Evaluation Center. The first Orthopaedics Training Center was established on 27 April 2001. Since its foundation, the hospital has won five state-level scientific awards.

Ping'anli station (Chinese: 平安里站; pinyin: Píng'ānlǐ zhàn) is an interchange station on Line 4, Line 6 and Line 19 of Beijing Subway.

Houhai (Chinese: 后海; pinyin: hòuhǎi; lit. 'Rear Lake') is a lake and its surrounding neighborhood in Xicheng District of central Beijing, China. Houhai is the largest of the three lakes, along with Qianhai 'Front Lake' and Xihai 'Western Lake', that comprise Shichahai, the collective name for the three northernmost lakes in central Beijing. Since the early 2000s, the hutong neighborhood around Houhai has become known for its nightlife as many residences along the lake shore have been converted into restaurants, bars, and cafes. The area is especially popular with foreign tourists visiting Beijing and is also often visited by the expatriate community and the younger generations of locals. The Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling and Prince Gong Mansion are both located in the Houhai neighborhood.

Deshengmen (simplified Chinese: 德胜门; traditional Chinese: 德勝門; pinyin: Déshèngmén; lit. 'Gate of Virtuous Triumph') is a city gate that was once part of Beijing's northern city wall. It is one of Beijing's few preserved city gates and now stands as a landmark on the northern 2nd Ring Road. The original gate complex, built in 1437, was composed of three structures – the gatehouse, archery tower, and barbican. The gatehouse proper was demolished in 1921, and the city wall was torn down in 1969. Today only the archery tower and the barbican survives. They overlook the northern city moat, and house an ancient coin exhibition inside. Deshengmen is now a major transportation node in northern Beijing. The gate complex is surrounded by the Deshengmen bridge, a rotary overpass that channels traffic from the 2nd Ring Road to the Badaling Expressway. The street that once passed through the gate is still named in relation to it. South of Deshengmen and inside the old city wall is Deshengmen Inner Street. To the north, it is called Deshengmen Outer Street. Deshengmen means "Gate of Virtuous Triumph." In traditional times, the imperial military would march out of Beijing through Deshengmen, and return through Andingmen, the Gate of Peace and Stability.

Prince Gong's Mansion, also known as the Prince Kung Mansion, is a museum and tourist attraction located in Xicheng District, Beijing, just north of the Shichahai Lake. It consists of large siheyuan-style mansions and gardens. Originally constructed for Heshen, an official highly favoured by the Qianlong Emperor, it was later renamed after Prince Gong, a Manchu prince and influential statesman of the late Qing dynasty, who inhabited the mansion in the late 19th century.

Beijing No. 4 High School (Chinese: 北京市第四中学; pinyin: Běijīng shì dìsì zhōngxué), commonly abbreviated as (Beijing) Sizhong (Chinese: 北京四中), and sometimes referred to as Beijing High School Four (BHSF), is a public beacon high school in Xicheng District, Beijing. It is one of the most prestigious high schools in China. It was established in 1907 as the Shuntian Secondary School, and was later renamed Capital Public No. 4 Secondary School. It took its current name in 1949. The school was among the first to be accredited as a "Municipal Model High School" by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. More than 96 percent of its graduates passed the enrollment line of key universities (Tier 1 schools) in National Higher Education Entrance Examination. In a 2016 ranking of Chinese high schools that send students to study in American universities, Beijing No. 4 High School ranked number one in mainland China in terms of the number of students entering top American universities, and number four internationally for high schools outside of the United States. James Palmer of Foreign Policy described it as "the rough equivalent of Eton". Many Chinese politicians and their children have attended Beijing No. 4.

The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Chinese: 圣母圣衣堂), more often colloquially referred to as Xizhimen Church (Chinese: 西直门天主堂), is a Roman Catholic church located on the southern side at No. 130 of Xizhimen Neidajie in Beijing. It is commonly referred to as Xitang (西堂, the West Church) to the locals. The church at Xizhimen was the last among the four historic Catholic churches in Beijing. The West Church was first built in 1723 during the Qing dynasty by the Italian Lazarist missionary Teodorico Pedrini: it was the first non-Jesuit church in Beijing. After Pedrini's death the church was run by Carmelites and then Augustinians, who were there when it was destroyed in 1811. The church was rebuilt in 1867. After a second destruction in 1900 during the Boxer Rebellion, it was built again in 1912 as we can see it today. Delicate Corinth pillars and Gothic peaked arches inside the church create a grand, elegant and solemn impression upon visitors.There is red graffiti written on the church from the time of the Cultural Revolution, which the church deliberately retained. Mass is conducted in French every Sunday at 11 a.m.

The Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling (simplified Chinese: 宋庆龄故居; traditional Chinese: 宋慶齡故居; pinyin: Sòng Qìnglíng Gùjū) is a museum in the Shichahai area of Beijing, China, and once was the last residence of Soong Ching-ling, the wife of Sun Yat-sen and later Vice-President and Honorary President of the People's Republic of China in 1981. The museum opened in 1982, was renovated in 2009, and is dedicated to her memory.

Guanghua Temple (simplified Chinese: 广化寺; traditional Chinese: 廣化寺; pinyin: Guǎnghuā Sì) is a Buddhist temple located at 31 Ya'er Hutong, north of Shichahai in the Xicheng District of Beijing, China. Founded during the Yuan dynasty (1271–1368), it is one of Beijing's most renowned Buddhist temples.

The Beijing Office, officially the Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China in Beijing (BJO), is the representative office of the Government of Hong Kong in the national capital Beijing. Its counterpart office is the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, representative office of the Central Government of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong.
