Rouge River Bridge

Bead Hill is an archaeological site comprising the only known remaining and intact 17th-century Seneca site in Canada. It is located along the Toronto Carrying-Place Trail on the banks of the Rouge River in Rouge Park, a city park in Toronto, Ontario. Because of its sensitive archaeological nature, it is not open to the public, nor readily identified in the park. It was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1991.

The Birchmount Hospital (officially Scarborough Health Network, Birchmount Hospital, formerly but still commonly known as Scarborough Grace Hospital) is a hospital in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located in the Agincourt neighbourhood along Birchmount Road, the hospital was opened in 1985 by The Salvation Army. As of 2016, it is part of the Scarborough Health Network.

Pickering—Scarborough East was a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that had been represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 2004 to 2015. The district was created in 2003 from 44.1% of Pickering—Ajax—Uxbridge, 39.7% of Scarborough East, and 0.1% of Scarborough—Rouge River ridings. Following the Canadian federal electoral redistribution, 2012, the riding was redistributed between Pickering—Uxbridge and Scarborough—Rouge Park. The district consisted of the southwest part of the city of Pickering and the southeast part of the Scarborough district of Toronto. It was the only riding to overlap the boundaries of the 416 (City of Toronto) and the 905 (Greater Toronto Area) regions. Specifically, it consisted of the part of the City of Pickering lying south and west of a line drawn from the western city limit east along Finch Avenue, south along Valley Farm Road, northeast along Highway 401 and south along Brock Road to the southern city limit; and the part of the City of Toronto lying south and east of a line drawn from the eastern city limit west along Finch Avenue East, south along Meadowvale Road, west along Sheppard Avenue East, south along Morningside Avenue and southeast along Highland Creek to Lake Ontario.

Rouge National Urban Park is a national urban park in Ontario, Canada. The park is centred around the Rouge River and its tributaries in the Greater Toronto Area. The southern portion of the park is situated around the mouth of river, in Scarborough, and extends northwards into Markham, Pickering, Uxbridge, and Whitchurch-Stouffville. Since 2011, Parks Canada has been working to nationalize and nearly double the size of the original Rouge Park. Parks Canada is planning to add more trails, education and orientation centres and improved signage and interpretive panels and displays throughout the park. Parks Canada introduced new educational programs to the park, including Learn-to-Camp, Learn-to-Hike, fire side chats, and other complimentary programming. Once fully established, the park will span 79.1 square kilometres (30.5 sq mi). Parks Canada managed 95% of the area as of June, 15, 2019, with the rest expected to transferred in the future. Of which, 46 square kilometres (18 sq mi) had been formally designated under the Rouge Urban National Park Act.

Rouge Valley Public School (often abbreviated to RVPS) is a school providing education until Grade 8 in Rouge, Toronto, Canada. It is located at 30 Durnford Road, Toronto, Ontario M1B 4X3. It is managed by the Toronto District School Board.

West Rouge is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the south-east corner of Toronto, within the former city of Scarborough. The community is roughly bounded by Lake Ontario to the south, the Rouge River and the Rouge National Urban Park to the east, Port Union Road to the west and Kingston Road to the north.

The Rouge River is a river in Markham, Pickering, Richmond Hill and Toronto in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. The river flows from the Oak Ridges Moraine to Lake Ontario at the eastern border of Toronto, and is the location of Rouge Park, the only national park in Canada within a municipality. At its southern end, the Rouge River is the boundary between Toronto and southwestern Pickering in the Regional Municipality of Durham.

Rouge Hill is a GO Transit train and bus station on the Lakeshore East line. The station is located on the shore of Lake Ontario in West Rouge in the former municipality of Scarborough, the most easterly neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is a major commuter transfer point, with large parking lots and local bus services. It is the last station in Toronto before the trains enter Durham Region.

Dunbarton High School is located in Pickering, Ontario, Canada, and is part of the Durham District School Board. The school has students in grades 9-12 and offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities. Their mascot is the Spartan. Dunbarton consists of two campuses: Main Campus and South Campus, which it acquired after the closing of Woodlands Centennial Public School. The classes in south campus include English, visual art, music, drama, and dance.

Port Union, also known as Centennial Scarborough is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the south-east corner of Toronto, within the former suburb of Scarborough. The neighbourhood is bounded by Kingston Road to the north, Port Union Road to the east, the Lake Ontario shoreline to the south, and Highland Creek to the west. The neighbourhood originated as the small lakefront town of Port Union in the 19th century, within the area now known as West Rouge, until 1974 part of the Township of Pickering. It was later developed as a suburban bedroom community after the Second World War. Since the 1990s, the industrial lands along the waterfront have been transformed into new subdivisions, along with a paved walkway and bike path along the shore of Lake Ontario. The neighbourhood has many mature trees, parkland and waterfront. It is an affluent neighbourhood with 93% home ownership.

Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate Institute (Sir Oliver Mowat CI, SOMCI, or Mowat) is a public high school located in the Port Union area of southeast Scarborough part of the Toronto District School Board. The school was opened in 1970 by the Scarborough Board of Education. The school is named after Oliver Mowat, the Premier of Ontario from 1872 to 1896. Its motto is De Monte Alto ("From a mount high").
