Lonevåg

Bergen og omland is a region in Vestland county, Norway. It consists of the districts Midthordland and Nordhordland. The center is the city of Bergen.

Lonevågen is a small fjord arm flowing south off of the Osterfjorden in Vestland county, Norway. The 5-kilometre (3.1 mi) long fjord is up to 500 metres (1,600 ft) wide. The fjord cuts into the island of Osterøy in Osterøy Municipality. The village of Lonevåg, the administrative center of Osterøy Municipality, is located at the end of the fjord.

Bruvik Church (Norwegian: Bruvik kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Osterøy Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Bruvik. It is the church for the Bruvik parish which is part of the Åsane prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1867 using plans drawn up by the architect Frederik Hannibal Stockfleth. The church seats about 350 people.

Old Åsane Church (Norwegian: Åsane gamle kirke) is a former parish church of the Church of Norway in Bergen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the Saurås neighborhood in the borough of Åsane in the city of Bergen. It used to be the church for the Åsane parish, which is part of the Åsane prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, stone church was built in a long church design in 1795 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 240 people. The church was consecrated in 1795 by the Bishop Johan Nordahl Brun. The church is no longer regularly used since the "new" Åsane Church was built in 1993. This church is now mostly used for funerals and weddings as well as special events.

Valestrandfossen or Valestrandsfossen is a village in the municipality of Osterøy, adjacent to Norway's second-largest city and municipality Bergen, Vestland county. It lies at Sørfjorden 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) to the west and 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) south of the municipal centre of Lonevåg. Sites worth mentioning include Hamre and Hamre Church. Valestrandfossen has shops, a gas station, primary school, hairdressers, pubs, and Lerøy Fossen AS, the world's largest trout smokehouse. Valestrandfossen is the largest settlement on the whole island of Osterøy. The 0.94-square-kilometre (230-acre) village has a population (2019) of 1,303 and a population density of 1,386 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,590/sq mi). Located by the Sørfjorden, it has a regular ferry (the MF Ole Bull) that crosses the fjord to Åsane in Bergen. The famous Norwegian violinist and composer Ole Bull had his summer house here. In 1858, he bought a farm in Valestrand. The house was designed during 1865 by his youngest brother, architect Georg Andreas Bull. Ole Bull lived there for a time principally between tours. In 1872, he bought property on the island of Lysøen in what is now Bjørnafjorden Municipality, south of Bergen which became the primary residence of his family.

Haus Church (Norwegian: Haus kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Osterøy Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Hausvik on the western shore of the island of Osterøy. It is the church for the Haus parish which is part of the Åsane prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1874 using plans drawn up by the architect Ole Vangberg. The church seats about 460 people.

Haus (historically Hougs) is a former municipality in the old Hordaland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1964. The 96-square-kilometre (37 sq mi) municipality encompassed the southern half of the island of Osterøy as well as the area across the Sørfjorden from the island to the east, south, and west (although the municipality was quite a bit larger when it was first created in 1838). The administrative centre was the village of Haus, where Haus Church is located.

Haus or Hausvik is a village in Osterøy municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located on the southwestern coast of the island of Osterøy along the Sørfjorden. The village lies across the Sørfjorden from the villages of Ytre Arna and Garnes. The village of Valestrandfossen lies about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) north along the fjord. The 0.37-square-kilometre (91-acre) village has a population (2019) of 601 and a population density of 1,624 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,210/sq mi). The Osterøy Bridge is located about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of Hausvik, connecting Osterøy island to the mainland of Bergen. Before the opening of the bridge in 1997, there was a regular ferry route from Hausvik to Garnes. The ferry route was discontinued after the bridge opened.Haus Church is located in the village, serving the southwestern part of Osterøy. The village of Haus was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Haus that existed from 1838 until 1964.

Ytre Arna is a settlement in the borough of Arna in the municipality of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. Ytre Arna is principally associated with A/S Arne Fabrikker, the country's first mechanised cotton mill. Ytre Arna Church (Ytre Arna kirke) is also located in the village.The 1.55-square-kilometre (380-acre) village has a population (2012) of 2,626 and a population density of 1,694 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,390/sq mi). Since 2013, Statistics Norway no longer tracked separate population statistics for Ytre Arna, instead the village was incorporated into a larger urban area called Arna.

Tunes is a suburban village in the borough of Arna in the municipality of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. It is a part of the urban area of Arna, which has a population of 9,744.

Breistein is a village in the borough of Åsane in Bergen municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village lies along the Sørfjorden on the eastern part of the municipality, across the fjord from the village of Valestrandsfossen. The European route E39 highway passes along the western edge of the village. Its population in 1999 was 632, but since 2001 it has been counted as part of another urban area in Bergen, so its statistics are no longer separately tracked.
