The Hyslop Field Research Laboratory is an agricultural research facility operated by the Oregon State University Crop and Soil Science Department. Also known as The Hyslop Farm, it is located on Highway 20 about half way between Corvallis and Albany, Oregon.

The Children's Farm Home School is a former school building on U.S. Route 20 in Oregon between Corvallis and Albany; it is located on a 300-acre (120 ha) campus now owned by Trillium Family Services. The Children's Farm Home School was listed in 2008 on the National Register of Historic Places for Benton County; the listing was one of the first steps taken as part of a restoration effort that ended up taking five years.

The Little Willamette River is a minor tributary of the Willamette River in Linn County in the U.S. state of Oregon. It begins in a gravel pit slightly east of the main stem in a bend of the larger river west of Albany. Flowing generally northeast and roughly parallel to the main stem for about 3 miles (5 km), it enters the Willamette about 121.5 miles (195.5 km) from the larger river's mouth on the Columbia River.Along its lower course, the Little Willamette flows through Bowers Rock State Park, a 568-acre (230 ha) tract in a riparian forest. The park, largely undeveloped, with primitive trails and no amenities, is part of the Willamette Greenway. The only named tributary of the Little Willamette is Coon Creek, which enters from the left.

Peavy Arboretum (40 acres) is an arboretum operated by Oregon State University and located on Arboretum Road, Corvallis, Oregon. It is open to the public daily without charge. The arboretum was dedicated by the university in 1926, operated as a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp from 1933–1942, and reverted to College of Forestry management in 1964. While the CCC was active, they planted trees, expanded the nursery, constructed Cronemiller Lake, and built roads, trails, and firebreaks.

Lewisburg is an unincorporated community in Benton County, Oregon, United States. Lewisburg lies at the intersection of Oregon Route 99W and Lewisburg Avenue. Lewisburg is north of Corvallis and west of Albany. The 1911 Lewisburg Hall and Warehouse Company Building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located in the community. The building is also known as "Mountain View Grange No. 429". It is currently used as an Eastern Orthodox church, and special events center.
