St Leonard's Church, Wollaton

Wollaton is a suburb and former parish in the western part of Nottingham, England. Wollaton has two Wards in the City of Nottingham (Wollaton East and Lenton Abbey and Wollaton West) with a total population as at the 2011 census of 24,693. It is home to Wollaton Hall with its museum, deer park, lake, walks and golf course.

The Nottingham Industrial Museum is a volunteer-run museum situated in part of the 17th-century stables block of Wollaton Hall, located in a suburb of the city of Nottingham. The museum won the Nottinghamshire Heritage Site of the Year Award 2012, a local accolade issued by Experience Nottinghamshire. The Museum collection closed in 2009 after Nottingham City Council withdrew funding, but has since reopened at weekends and bank holidays, helped by a £91,000 government grant, and run by volunteers. The museum contains a display of local textiles machinery, transport, telecommunications, mining and engineering technology. There is a display of cycles, motorcycles, and motor cars. There are examples of significant lace-making machinery. It also houses an operational beam engine, from the Basford, Nottingham pumping station.

Wollaton Park is a 500 acre park in Nottingham, England, which includes a deer park. It is centred on Wollaton Hall, a classic Elizabethan prodigy house which contains the Nottingham Natural History Museum, with the Nottingham Industrial Museum in the stable block. Various events including concerts are held in the park.

Splendour in Nottingham (more commonly known as Splendour or Splendour Festival) is an annual one-day music festival held in Nottingham, England since 2008. Organised by Nottingham City Council and DHP Concerts, the event is held within Wollaton Park, to the west of Nottingham City Centre. The first event was held in 2008 as a two-day event featuring artists Kate Nash, Paolo Nutini, Ocean Color Scene and Rufus Wainwright. In 2019 the capacity of the festival was 25,000.

The Fernwood School is an academy based in Wollaton, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.It was previously known as Fernwood Comprehensive School.In 2018 it was granted funding to expand to take an additional 450 pupils.

Wollaton Hall is an Elizabethan country house of the 1580s standing on a small but prominent hill in Wollaton Park, Nottingham, England. The house is now Nottingham Natural History Museum, with Nottingham Industrial Museum in the outbuildings. The surrounding parkland has a herd of deer, and is regularly used for large-scale outdoor events such as rock concerts, sporting events and festivals.

In the chancel is an Annunciation by Evelyn Gibbs, painted in 1946 and rediscovered in 2009 and restored. Located just off the A6002 road is Bilborough College.

Bluecoat Beechdale Academy (formerly Hadden Park High School, and prior to 2001 Glaisdale Comprehensive) is an 11–16 mixed secondary school with academy status in Bilborough, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England. It is part of the Archway Learning Trust. There was a £11m refurbishment by Inspired Spaces. Hadden Park High School had 10.7% absence in total (8.6% locally, 7.3% nationally) and 12.6% persistent (8.7% locally, 5.9% nationally). Since its launch as Bluecoat Beechdale Academy, attendance has risen above local and national averages, fixed-term exclusions have fallen by more than 50%, the projected budget deficit has been addressed and student numbers have risen sharply after many years of decline. The school became an academy on 1 April 2014.

The Harvey Hadden Stadium is a purpose-built athletics stadium in the Bilborough district of Nottingham, England which is the home of the Nottingham Caesars, an American Football team playing in the BAFA National Leagues as well as the Nottinghamshire Athletics Club and both the Athletic clubs of Nottingham Trent University and the University of Nottingham.It is also used for other sporting events such as Football, Boxing, MMA and Rugby league.
