Colonia Buenos Aires is a colonia of the Cuauhtémoc borough located south of the historic center of Mexico City. This colonia is primarily known for its abundance of dealers selling used car parts, and an incident when six youths were executed by police. About half of the colonia's residents make a living from car parts, but these businesses have a reputation for selling stolen merchandise. The colonia is also home to an old cemetery established by Maximilian I, which has a number of fine tombs and sculptures.

Colonia Algarín is a very small working class residential neighborhood located south of the historic center of Mexico City. Its border to the north is Eje 3 Sur José Peón Contreras, to the south Viaducto Miguel Alemán, to the east San Antonio Abad Ave (Calzada de Tlalpan) and to the west Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas. Colonia Algarín is located between colonias Buenos Aires (Eje Central), Álamos (Viaducto), Obrera (Eje 3 Sur) and Asturias (San Antonio Abad). On the south border, alongside Viaducto Miguel Alemán, flows the Río de la Piedad. This river, just as in the case as many other rivers of the city, is encased in cement.

Obrera is a station along Line 8 of the metro of Mexico City. The station is situated on Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas. The station's logo is a construction worker's helmet framed with two gears. The name obrera comes from the Colonia Obrera neighborhood where the station is located.From 23 April to 18 June 2020, the station was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico.

The Panteón Francés de la Piedad ("French Cemetery of the Mercy") is a cemetery in Mexico City in which several notable people are interred. It is located in the southern section of the city, adjacent to the medical center, the Centro Medico Metro station, and the Colonia Buenos Aires neighborhood. Note that there is another "Panteón Francés" in the northwest section of the city, near Panteones metro station; not the same cemetery. The cemetery has hundreds of lovely mortuary statues, but access to see them is restricted to family members; the property is securely fenced and the only entrance is guarded.

Colonia Obrera is an administrative neighborhood of the borough of Cuauhtémoc in the center of Mexico City. It was established in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and became home to many artisans and industrial workmen. Up to the early 1980s, a number of sewing factories were still located here, but the 1985 Mexico City earthquake destroyed many, including the Topeka factory in which many of the seamstresses died inside. Today, the area has a high crime rate but there have been efforts to revitalize it.

Chabacano (Spanish: [tʃa.βa'ka.no] (listen); Mexican Spanish transl. "Apricot") is a Mexico City Metro transfer station in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City. It is served by Lines 2 (the Blue Line), 8 (the Green Line) and 9 (the Brown Line). It is a combined underground and at-grade station whose platforms are distributed into two side platforms and one island platform—the Spanish solution layout. Chabacano station is located between San Antonio Abad and Viaducto stations on Line 2, between Obrera and La Viga stations on Line 8, and between Lázaro Cárdenas and Jamaica stations on Line 9. It serves the colonias (neighborhoods) of Ampliación Asturias, Obrera, and Vista Alegre. The station's pictogram depicts an apricot and it was named after a previously existing street that had multiple apricot trees. Chabacano station opened on 1 August 1970 with service on Line 2 northward toward Pino Suárez station and southward toward Tasqueña station. Southeasterly service on Line 8 toward Constitución de 1917 station and northward toward Garibaldi station began on 20 July 1994. Line 9's west-east service from Centro Médico to Pantitlán started on 26 August 1987. The station serving Line 2 had to be rebuilt when the transfer stations were built. The station facilities are accessible for people with disabilities as there are elevators and access ramps; inside, there is an Internet café, an information desk, a cultural showcase, a private library, and a mural titled Civilización y Cultura by José de Guimarães. The station also served as a film location for the 1990 film Total Recall, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Javier Álvarez named a composition after the station. In 2019, the station had an overall average daily entrance of 43,617 passengers.

The General Hospital of Mexico (Hospital General de México, HGM) is a hospital in Mexico City, operated by the Secretariat of Health, the federal government department in charge of all social health services in Mexico.

XXI Century National Medical Center (Spanish: Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI) is a hospital complex located in the Colonia Doctores neighborhood of Mexico City. It was inaugurated in May 1961 and is managed by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS). It is part of a conglomerate of health buildings that includes the General Hospital of Mexico (administered by the Secretariat of Health) and the Federico Gómez Children's Hospital, both adjoining the medical center. The complex contains a cardiology hospital, traumatology and orthopedics hospital, obstetrics-gynecology hospital, oncology hospital, and a pediatrics hospital. The mission of the hospital is medical care, teaching, and research.

Viaducto is a station on Line 2 of the Mexico City Metro system. It is located in the border of Benito Juárez and Iztacalco boroughs of Mexico City, south of the city centre on Calzada de Tlalpan. It is a surface station.

Parque Delta is an enclosed shopping mall in Colonia Piedad Narvarte in Mexico City, at the southeast corner of Colonia Roma. It contains 180,000 square metres (1,900,000 sq ft) of floor space, 70,224 square metres (755,880 sq ft) of which is rentable, while the land on which it is built measures 42,000 square metres (450,000 sq ft).It is located at the intersection of Eje vial 1 Poniente Cuauhtémoc and the Viaducto freeway. It was built on the site of the former Parque Delta Stadium. It opened in 2005, was designed by Grupo Arquitech. It underwent an expansion in 2016 and is owned by Fibra Danhos, which owns several other large malls in Mexico including Toreo Parque Central and Reforma 222.Anchors now include a four-story Liverpool department store, Soriana supermarket, Cinemex multicinemas (including VIP theaters), Sanborns, West Elm, Office Depot and The Home Store. There are also branches of Martí, Old Navy, C&A, H&M, Leftie's Gap, Zara, and Mango. There are many Alsea-run restaurants including two Starbucks, Chili's, P.F. Chang's, Italianni's and The Cheesecake Factory. In addition there is an Applebee's, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Toks and Maison Kayser. The complex received over 18 million visitors per year in 2013.

Centro Médico (Spanish: Estación Centro Médico) is an underground metro station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City. It is a transfer station for both Lines 3 and 9.

Eugenia is a metro station along Line 3 of the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Colonia Vertiz Narvarte and Colonia del Valle neighbourhoods of the Benito Juárez borough of Mexico City.The station logo depicts a stork, and its name refers to the avenue above the station. The name Eugenia literally means "The well born", so the stork is a birth symbol. The station opened on 25 August 1980.Until trolleybus service was discontinued in 2010, this metro station offered transfers to the "O" line of the trolleybus, which ran between Metro San Antonio and Central de Abasto wholesale market located in Iztacalco borough.Eugenia serves the Vertiz Narvarte and del Valle neighborhoods. It is located at the crossing of Eje 5 Sur Eugenia and Avenida Cuauhtémoc.
