Wilderswil railway station (German: Bahnhof Wilderswil) is a railway station in the village and municipality of Wilderswil in the Swiss canton of Bern. The station is on the Berner Oberland Bahn, whose trains operate services to Interlaken Ost, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. It is also the valley terminus of the Schynige Platte Railway, whose trains operate to the Schynige Platte and are stabled at a depot bordering the station.The two lines use different gauges, and there is no physical connection between them. However the trains operate from adjacent platforms within the same station.Trains in both directions on the Berner Oberland Bahn are scheduled to use Platform 2 alternately. There is a passing loop at the station, which, due to space constraints runs along the top of the platform with the rails embedded in the surface. This line is designated as Platform 1 but is not normally used by trains.

Unspunnen Castle is a castle, now in ruins, located in the municipality of Wilderswil in the Bernese Highlands of Switzerland. The castle, likely constructed in the early 12th century, overlooks the city of Interlaken. Today, Unspunnen is home to Unspunnenfest, a festival of traditional Swiss competitions held in the fields below the ruins.

Interlaken Airport (ICAO: LSMI) is a former military airbase in Interlaken, Switzerland. Interlaken Airport was constructed during World War II. The airbase is now closed to scheduled commercial flights. Most recently, in 2007, Interlaken Airbase was used for the sixth round of the Red Bull Air Race.

The Heimwehfluhbahn (DIH) is a funicular at Interlaken in the Swiss Canton of Bern. It runs to the top of the nearby Heimwehfluh hill at an altitude of 680 metres (2,230 ft) above sea level. The funicular provides access to the hilltop restaurant, an observation tower, an O scale model railway, a children's playground and a bobsleigh run (a second one existed but has since become overgrown and unused).

Interlaken Monastery (German: Kloster Interlaken or German: Augustinerchorherrenstift) was a convent of the Augustinian Canons Regular (German: Augustinerchorherren) from about 1133 until 1528 at Interlaken in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.

Interlaken West is a railway station in the resort town of Interlaken, in the Swiss canton of Bern. It is on the Thunersee line of the BLS AG, and is one of two stations in the town, the other being Interlaken Ost. In addition to trains operated directly by the BLS, the station is also reached by passenger trains of the Swiss Federal Railways and Deutsche Bahn.The lines through the station are standard gauge and are electrified at 15 kV AC. There are two tracks, narrowing to a single track at either end of the station, and each track is served by a side platform. The station building is situated on the eastern platform.The station also provides an interchange with the local bus network provided by PostBus Switzerland and the regional bus line to Thun provided by Verkehrsbetriebe STI. Ships of the BLS-owned fleet on Lake Thun serve a quay at Interlaken West, which they access via the 2.75-kilometre (1.71 mi) long Interlaken ship canal.

Bödeli (lit.: the Swiss German diminutive term for ground) is the tongue of land between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland. Lake Thun and Lake Brienz were not yet separate after the last ice age. The rivers Lütschine from the south and the Lombach from the north brought enough debris to cause a partitioning over the millennia. Now Lake Brienz has a water level about 2 metres (6.6 ft) higher than Lake Thun and the river Aare flows from one lake to the other through the Bödeli. On the Bödeli are situated the villages and towns of Unterseen, Interlaken and Matten, which form a closed settlement area, and at the southern border are the villages of Wilderswil and Bönigen. From the south a hill range, the Ruuge, rises up.

Breitlauenen is a railway station on the Schynige Platte railway, a rack railway that connects Wilderswil with the Schynige Platte in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland.
