Matten bei Interlaken (abbreviated as Matten b.I., or simply Matten) is a village and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. Matten b.I. belongs to the Small Agglomeration Interlaken with 23,300 inhabitants (2014).

Bönigen is a village and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the Swiss canton of Bern. It lies on the shore of Lake Brienz, near to the mouth of the river Lütschine, and adjacent to the resort town of Interlaken. Bönigen belongs to the Small Agglomeration Interlaken with 23,300 inhabitants (2014).Bönigen belongs to the church parish of Gsteig bei Interlaken, which includes eight other nearby municipalities.

Jungfrau Park is an amusement park located near Interlaken, Switzerland. It opened as the Mystery Park in 2003, and closed in November 2006 due to financial difficulties and low turnout. The park was designed by Erich von Däniken, and consisted of seven pavilions, each of which featured one of several great "mysteries" of the world. Von Däniken opened the theme park to present his interpretations of archaeological sites around the world, claiming that they involve visits from extraterrestrial life. Since 2009 it has regularly re-opened for the summer seasons as the Jungfrau Park.

Interlaken is a district of the canton of Bern. From 1 January 2010, the district lost its administrative power while being replaced by the Interlaken-Oberhasli, whose administrative centre is Interlaken. Since 2010, it remains therefore a fully recognised district under the law and the Constitution (Art.3 al.2) of the Canton of Berne. Its administrative capital was Interlaken. Wilderswil railway station (German: Bahnhof Wilderswil) is a railway station in the village and municipality of Wilderswil in the Swiss canton of Bern. The station is on the Berner Oberland Bahn, whose trains operate services to Interlaken Ost, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. It is also the valley terminus of the Schynige Platte Railway, whose trains operate to the Schynige Platte and are stabled at a depot bordering the station.The two lines use different gauges, and there is no physical connection between them. However the trains operate from adjacent platforms within the same station.Trains in both directions on the Berner Oberland Bahn are scheduled to use Platform 2 alternately. There is a passing loop at the station, which, due to space constraints runs along the top of the platform with the rails embedded in the surface. This line is designated as Platform 1 but is not normally used by trains.

Interlaken Ost or Interlaken East is a railway station in the resort town of Interlaken in the Swiss canton of Bern. The station was previously known as Interlaken Zollhaus. The town has one other station, Interlaken West.Interlaken Ost is an important railway junction at the meeting point of three railway lines, the Thunersee line of the BLS AG, the Brünig line of the Zentralbahn, and the Bernese Oberland railway (BOB). In addition to trains operated directly by the owners of these lines, the station is also reached by passenger trains of the Swiss Federal Railways, Deutsche Bahn, all of which operate over the Thunersee line.The station provides an interchange with the local bus network provided by PostBus Switzerland and the regional bus line to Thun provided by Verkehrsbetriebe STI. Ships of the BLS-owned fleet on Lake Brienz serve a quay at Interlaken Ost, which they access via a navigable reach of the Aar river.

Interlaken Monastery (German: Kloster Interlaken or German: Augustinerchorherrenstift) was a convent of the Augustinian Canons Regular (German: Augustinerchorherren) from about 1133 until 1528 at Interlaken in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.

The Saxetbach is a mountain river south of Interlaken in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland. It is a left tributary of the river Lütschine. It flows through the village Saxeten and joins the Lütschine in Wilderswil. It forms a narrow ravine, the Saxetbach Gorge.

Burgseeli (or Burgseewli) is a lake in the Canton of Berne, Switzerland. Its surface area is 5.25 ha. It is located between Ringgenberg and Goldswil on the northern shore of Lake Brienz. Swimming is possible at a bathing beach. Given its relatively small size temperatures up to 26 °C are reached.

Unspunnen Castle is a castle, now in ruins, located in the municipality of Wilderswil in the Bernese Highlands of Switzerland. The castle, likely constructed in the early 12th century, overlooks the city of Interlaken. Today, Unspunnen is home to Unspunnenfest, a festival of traditional Swiss competitions held in the fields below the ruins.

Breitlauenen is a railway station on the Schynige Platte railway, a rack railway that connects Wilderswil with the Schynige Platte in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland.
