Mindanao Avenue (Filipino: Abenida Mindanao) is an eight-to-ten lane divided avenue connecting EDSA and NLEX and is a part of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) in Metro Manila, Philippines. It is one of the three parallel roads that connects Tandang Sora and Congressional Avenues (Visayas Avenue and Luzon Avenue were the others); that is why it was named after the southernmost mainland of the Philippines, Mindanao. It used to be a 2-kilometer (1.2 mi) highway connecting North Avenue and Congressional Avenue, but as a part of the C-5 projects, Mindanao Avenue was extended to EDSA in the south and to Quirino Highway to the north. The new roads opened in 2000.Another road also named Mindanao Avenue, also in Quezon City, starts in Barangay Santa Monica, crosses Commonwealth Avenue and Regalado Highway, and terminates at a dead end at School of Saint Anthony in Barangay Greater Lagro, Quezon City. That road is not in any way connected to the original Mindanao Avenue but was planned to be the one and the same road according to the 1949 Master Plan for Quezon City. It would have connected the Diliman Quadrangle to the La Mesa Watershed area.Mindanao Avenue replaced some segments of Tandang Sora Avenue belonging to C-5; Tandang Sora has no access to North Luzon Expressway. NLEX Segment 8.1, also known as the NLEX Mindanao Avenue Link, began construction afterwards. In 2017, DPWH has resumed construction of the 3.2-kilometer (2.0 mi) Mindanao Avenue Extension Project, after being halted for years due to road right-of-way issues, notably involving residential areas. A total of 1.4-kilometer (0.87 mi) portion of the road was earlier completed and opened since 2014. In June 2018, DPWH has opened additional 700-meter (2,300 ft) portion from P. Dela Cruz Street to the current end at MGM Road. The road will be extended further until it meets General Luis Street in North Caloocan.

Quirino Highway station is an under-construction Metro Manila Subway station located in Quirino Highway, Barangay Talipapa, Novaliches, Quezon City, Philippines. It is the second station for trains headed northbound towards the East Valenzuela station and the third station for trains headed southbound to the North Triangle Common Station. Some of the station's closest landmarks include the NLEX Harbor Link, Pacific Global Medical Center, and a Wilcon Depot.

San Nicolas de Tolentino is a parish church in Quezon City. It belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cubao, under the Vicariate of Sto. Nino. It is under the care of the Augustinian Recollect Province of Saint Ezequiél Moreno. The parish was named after San Nicolas de Tolentino, the patron saint of the poor souls in purgatory, whose feast day is celebrated on 10 September. Recollect fathers expanded their apostolate by building a church, which later became the center of a sprawling parish extending from Visayas Avenue in the east, to Mindanao Avenue in the west, from Carmel II in the south to Tandang Sora in the north. Established on April 30, 1975, it was on May 11, 1975, that Fr. Alejandro Ramirez, OAR, was installed as the first parish priest, with Fr. Antonio Ausejo, OAR, and Fr. Clemente Jubera, OAR, as assistants. In response to the demand of the faithful, the parish was divided in two: Our Father Parish and Our Lady of Annunciation Parish were created within the San Nicholas de Tolentino territory. The Parish Priest is Father Delfin Castillo, OAR with estimated population of 10, 000 Catholics.

Colegio de San Lorenzo (CDSL) was a private Catholic college located in Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City and in Macabebe, Pampanga. It opened in 1988 in Quezon City and the branch in the founder's hometown of Macabebe opened in 1996.On August 15, 2022, Colegio de San Lorenzo announced it would be closing down and would cease operations by September 2022, citing financial instability and lack of financial viability due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The sudden announcement of its shutdown, on what would have been the school's first day of classes, brought negative responses from parents, students, and employees alike.

It is an urban barangay of Quezon City with low-density housing and is known for its shopping malls, transport hubs and office buildings. Neighboring barangays include Project 6 and Vasra in the northeast; Bahay Toro in the north; Pinyahan in the east; Veterans Village, Bungad and Sto. Cristo in the northwest; Phil-Am in the west; West Triangle in the southwest; and South Triangle in the south.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo Locale of Bago Bantay (Filipino: Lokal ng Bago Bantay) is a chapel of the Philippine-based Christian sect the Iglesia ni Cristo. Located along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), Bago Bantay, Quezon City, it was completed on December 4, 1964, and was the third chapel dedicated by Brother Erano Manalo upon the death of Brother Felix Y. Manalo in 1963. Currently, it is the only INC chapel located along EDSA. Designed by architect Carlos A. Santos-Viola and based on the last design conceptualized by Brother Manalo himself, the chapel was the first to be built with a steep gable and an arcaded side facade. It is the second-largest chapel ever built during its time. Its interiors feature the widest nave built during its time and also one of the highest in terms of floor to ceiling height. The overall design was inspired by the Gothic cathedrals of Europe, particularly San Sebastian Church in Manila.After the ceiling collapsed in July 2015, the chapel underwent an extensive renovation and was rededicated on July 18, 2016. The interior now features a new design which uses Narra wood panels. The tiles were replaced by high-gloss granite tiles. The choir loft was fitted with digital pipe organ speakers. Finally, the exterior was restored to its original color scheme.

Roosevelt station ( ROHZ-ə-velt; Tagalog: [ˈruːsbɛlt]) is the former northern terminus of Line 1 of the Manila Light Rail Transit System and was constructed as part of the Line 1 North Extension Project. It opened on October 22, 2010. Roosevelt is one of the two Line 1 stations serving Quezon City, the other being Balintawak. It is located in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay (Bago Bantay), Quezon City and its neighbors, Project 7 (Veterans Village and Bungad) and Project 8 (Bahay Toro, Sangandaan, Baesa). It links to Congressional Avenue and Fernando Poe Jr. Avenue. The station is named after the latter's name by the time of the station's operation, Roosevelt Avenue, which was named in honor of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The station is temporarily closed since September 5, 2020 to make way for the ongoing construction of the North Triangle Common Station.

Triangle Park, also known as the Quezon City Central Business District, is a 250 ha (620 acres) central business district in Quezon City, Philippines. It is organized around five districts namely: Commons, Downtown Hub, Emporium, Residences at Veterans and Triangle Exchange. It is one of the three existing main business districts of the city - alongside Eastwood City in Libis and Araneta Center in Cubao. It is also one of two business districts currently being developed or redeveloped, the other being Neopolitan Business Park in Novaliches. This business district spans from the East and North Triangles to the Quezon Memorial Circle also encompassing the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) property along North Avenue. The World Bank dubbed the project as “the center of gravity of commercial developments in Metro Manila in the coming years.” It is linked to the EDSA frontages and served by the LRT Line 1, and MRT Line 3 rail systems. The World Bank contracted the Japanese firm, Almec, to complete the framework plan. Two companies have been given permission to develop the remaining empty lots, Ayala Land in cooperation with the National Housing Authority (Philippines) for the North Triangle and Eton Properties Philippines of the Lucio Tan Group for the East Triangle.
