The Pou de Glaç (Ice well) is situated on the outskirts of Canyamars within the municipality of Dosrius, Catalonia, Spain. It was used to store ice transported from the Pyrenees during the winter. This was then made available to the local inhabitants during the summer. The Pou de Glaç was recently bought by the Ayuntamiento de Dosrius.

It is situated in the hollow between the ranges of el Corredor and Montnegre. It is linked to Sant Celoni and to Arenys de Munt by a local road. The GR 92 long distance footpath, which roughly follows the length of the Mediterranean coast of Spain, has a staging point at Vallgorguina. Stage 14 links northwards to Hortsavinyà, a distance of 17.4 kilometres (10.8 mi), whilst stage 15 links southwards to Coll de Can Bordoi, a distance of 14.3 kilometres (8.9 mi).

It belongs to the Maresme comarca and the Barcelona province. The short name is simply Llavaneres. Llavaneres faces the sea to the east and a natural park to the west. The village has a mixed agricultural and residential character and has become a popular vacation and summer-residence location for people living in Barcelona over the last forty years. Good connections with Barcelona, the Maresme coast and the Mediterranean axis of France and Spain include a train line to Barcelona, as well as the C-32 highway and the N-2 road. Sant Andreu de Llavaneres is today well known for its upscale sailing in summer.

Sant Vicenç de Montalt (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsam biˈsɛnz ðə munˈtal]), is a municipality in the comarca of the Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between Sant Andreu de Llavaneres and Arenys de Mar, below the el Corredor range, with the main settlement slightly inland. The main N-II road along the coast passes through the municipality, linked to the town by a local road. There are also roads to Arenys de Munt and to Mataró, and a station on the RENFE railway line at Caldes d'Estrac.

The Sant Andreu de Llavaneres Archive Museum (Catalan: Museu Arxiu de Sant Andreu de Llavaneres), in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres (Maresme), is located in Can Caralt, an 18th-century farmhouse converted into a manor house in the second half of the 19th century. Can Caralt also houses the municipal archives. The Museum is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network.

Arenys de Munt (Catalan pronunciation: [əˈɾɛɲz ðə ˈmun], arenys being Catalan for "sands (of a seasonal creek)", and de munt for "up hill" as opposed to Arenys de Mar, "sands by the sea") is a municipality in the comarca of the Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated inland from the coast, in the el Corredor range and including the peak of el Montalt (595 m). It retains a textile industry specialised in the production of towels, and is also known for the production of strawberries, cherries and liqueurs. The B-511 road links the town with Arenys de Mar, Vallgorguina and Sant Celoni. It is also the hometown of actor Daniel Brühl.

The Llinars Bridge this bridge is the first steel structure in the high-speed railway (HSR) joining Barcelona and the French Border. The 1,883-foot-long (574 m) Llinars HSR bridge comprises two parts: a 1,008-foot-long (307 m) composite steel–concrete structure crossing Autopista AP-7, and a continuous prestressed concrete bridge crossing the Mogent River with a maximum span of 157 feet (48 m). After analyzing many possible color combinations for the Llinars bridge, the designers selected blue for the members above the deck level and gray for the bottom of the longitudinal beams. This combination was intended to make the structure appear more slender.

C-32 is a primary highway in Catalonia, Spain. It was created in 2004 by merging three sections of existing autopistas and autovías. This re-organisation was part of a renaming of primary highways managed by the Generalitat de Catalunya. According to this new denomination, the first number (C-32) indicates that is a southwest-northeast highway (parallel to the Mediterranean Sea coastline), while the second number (C-32) indicates that is the second-closest to the Mediterranean Sea. The Barcelona-Mataró's section of the former A-19 (now renamed to C-31 and C-32) was the first autopista ever in Spain (1969).

The Palau Foundation (Catalan: Fundació Palau) is an art exhibition centre in the centre of Caldes d'Estrac, in the region of El Maresme (Catalonia). It was opened in May 2003, to exhibit and disseminate the art collection that had been compiled by Josep Palau i Fabre, as well as its archives and library. Of particular importance is its archive and bibliographical collection on Pablo Picasso. The Palau Foundation is part of the Catalan Art Museums Network and 'Espais Escrits', the Catalan Literary Heritage Network.

The Coll de Can Bordoi is a mountain pass on the B-510 road across the Catalan Coastal Range from Dosrius to Llinars del Vallès. The pass lies in the municipality of Llinars del Vallès, comarca of Vallès Oriental, province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.The pass reaches a height of 318.1 metres (1,044 ft) above sea level and is in the Parc del Montnegre i el Corredor. The farmhouse of Can Bordoi is situated 100 metres (330 ft) to the west of the pass and is included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.The GR 92 long distance footpath, which roughly follows the length of the Mediterranean coast of Spain, has a staging point on the pass.
