Cupid's Span is an outdoor sculpture by married artists Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, installed along the Embarcadero in San Francisco, California, in the United States. The 70-foot (21 m) sculpture, commissioned by Gap Inc. founders Donald and Doris F. Fisher, depicts a partial bow and piece of an arrow.

The Infinity or 300 Spear Street is a mixed-use residential condominium development in the Rincon Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, California consisting of 2 high-rise towers and 2 low-rise buildings. The four buildings contain 650 residential units. The complex is the first phase of a massive residential development encompassing two city blocks.

MIRA (originally called Folsom Bay Tower) is a 39-story, 422-foot (129 m) residential skyscraper under construction at 280 Spear Street in San Francisco, California. The tower is located on Block 1 of the San Francisco Transbay development plan at the northwest corner of Folsom and Spear Streets, near the Embarcadero. Developed by Tishman Speyer, the project is planned to contain 391 condominiums, with 156 designated below-market-rate, and is expected to be completed in 2020. In addition to the tower, the project includes an eight-story podium at Folsom and Main and a four-story row of townhomes along Clementina Street. The project is located across the street from two other Tishman Speyer properties, The Infinity and LUMINA.

The existing historic Pier 26 in San Francisco is located on the Embarcadero with its entrance directly under the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, several blocks southeast of the Ferry Building. The pier is a single story gable timber structure that rests partially on concrete retainage but mostly on pier foundations on the bay. Its surface area measures approximately 100,000 square feet (9,300 m2), currently used for parking and storage. Its front facade along the Embarcadero is of historic significance.

LUMINA, also known as 201 Folsom Street, is a 655-unit residential condominium project in the Rincon Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. Developed by Tishman Speyer, it is located one block to the southwest of its sister project, The Infinity.

Rincon Point, was a cape marking the southern extremity of Yerba Buena Cove in what is now San Francisco, California. Rincón is Spanish for "corner", and the point formed the southern corner of the cove. With the cove filled in and the Point landlocked, it is now the location where the Oakland Bay Bridge terminates in San Francisco.

The Folgers Coffee Company Building is a historic mid-rise office building located at 101 Howard Street in the Financial District, San Francisco.

In 1941, Anton Refregier won the $26,000 commission for the series History of San Francisco, which are a set of 27 murals painted in the lobby of the Rincon Annex Post Office in San Francisco, California. Refregier painted the mural with casein tempera on white gesso over plaster walls, in the social realism style. Work was interrupted by World War II and restarted in 1946; the murals were completed in 1948. In 1953, U.S. Representative Hubert B. Scudder opened a Congressional hearing to determine whether the murals should be removed for themes "inconsistent with American ideals and principles"; the often contentious proceedings concluded with their retention. The building is now part of Rincon Center, remodeled as shops and residences after the Post Office left in 1979, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places that year. The Rincon Center lobby is publicly accessible, and regular guided tours of the murals are provided by volunteers.

Rincon Center is a complex of shops, restaurants, offices, and apartments in the South of Market neighborhood of Downtown San Francisco, California. It includes two buildings, one of which is the former Rincon Annex post office building, completed in 1940. Rincon Center occupies an entire city block near the Embarcadero, bounded by Mission, Howard, Spear, and Steuart Streets.
