Magshimim (Hebrew: מַגְשִׁימִים, romanized: Dream fulfillers) is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Yehud, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,090.

Hevel Modi'in Regional Council (Hebrew: מועצה אזורית חבל מודיעין, Mo'atza Azorit Hevel Modi'in, lit. Modi'in Region Regional Council) is a regional council in central Israel. It was founded in 1950 and covers an area from Petah Tikva to Modi'in. The council borders Drom HaSharon Regional Council, El'ad and Rosh HaAyin in the north Mateh Binyamin Regional Council in the east Gezer Regional Council and Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut in the south Drom HaSharon, Lod Valley Regional Council, Lod and Ramle in the west.The head rabbi of the regional council is Rabbi Eliav Meir who is also the head rabbi of Gimzo.

Nofekh (Hebrew: נֹפֶךְ, נופך) is a community settlement in central Israel. Located in the Shephelah, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Modi'in Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 610.

Rantiya (Arabic: رنتيّة, known to the Romans as Rantia and to the Crusaders as Rentie) was a Palestinian village, located 16 kilometers east of Jaffa. During the British Mandate in Palestine, in 1945 it had a population of 590 inhabitants. Those inhabitants became refugees after a 10 July 1948 assault by Israeli forces from the Palmach's Eighth Armored Brigade and the Third Infantry Battalion of the Alexandroni Brigade during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war.Of the over 100 houses that made up the village, only three remain standing today. The Jewish localities of Mazor, Nofekh, and Rinatia are located on Rantiya's former lands.

The Yehud attack was an attack on a civilian house in the village of Yehud carried out by a Palestinian fedayeen squad on 12 October 1953. Three Israeli Jewish civilians, a mother and her infant children, were killed in the attack.

Nehalim (Hebrew: נְחָלִים, lit. Streams) is a religious moshav in central Israel. Located south of Petah Tikva, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Modi'in Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,848.

Rinatya (Hebrew: רִנַּתְיָה) is a moshav in central Israel. Located between Petah Tikva and Yehud, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Modi'in Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 1,205.

Mazor (Hebrew: מָזוֹר, lit. Cure) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain around three kilometres south-east of Petah Tikva and covering 2,300 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Modi'in Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,330.

Bnei Atarot (Hebrew: בְּנֵי עֲטָרוֹת, lit. Sons of Atarot) is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Yehud, around 15 kilometres east of Tel Aviv, it is situated in fertile plains at the eastern rim of Tel Aviv metropolitan area next to Ben Gurion Airport and falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Modi'in Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 964.

Wilhelma (Hebrew: וילהלמה, originally Wilhelma-Hamîdije) was German Templer Colony in Palestine located southwest of al-'Abbasiyyah near Jaffa. Wilhelma-Hamîdije was named in honour of King William II of Württemberg, Emperor Wilhelm II and Sultan Abdul Hamid II, however, only the first half of the name prevailed. Wilhelma was established by German settlers in 1902 in Palestine then under Ottoman rule. In July 1918, the German residents of Wilhelma were interned at Helouan, near Cairo in Egypt. They were returned to Palestine in January 1921.During the inter-war years the colony produced dairy goods and wine in collaboration with the German colony at Sarona.At the time of the 1922 census of Palestine, Wilhelma had a population of 186 Christians, 36 Muslims and 1 Jew. By the 1931 census, there were 319 residents in 65 occupied houses, the population consisted of 231 Christians, 84 Muslims, and 4 Jews.During World War II, Wilhelma was transformed into an internment camp by the British Mandatory authorities where German settlers from Wilhelma and other localities such as Sarona as well as other enemy aliens (such as Hungarians and Italians) were concentrated and held. In World War II, guarded by Jewish police, the camp was under an early night curfew. Detainees were held there until April 1948 when the last of them were moved out to Germany or resettled in Australia. Three Jewish moshav settlements were established on this land in 1948. The first was abandoned on May 15, 1948 after being overrun by the Arab Legion. The second was established by a Hapoel HaMizrachi group. The third was established by the Tehiya group of the Hapoel HaMizrachi.Wilhelma is now the site of the Israeli locality of Bnei Atarot.What is now Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport was originally named "Lydda Airport" when it was built in 1934 near the Templer community. It was renamed RAF Station Lydda in 1943. During World War II it served as a major airfield for military air transport and aircraft ferry operations between military bases in Europe, Africa, the Middle East (mainly Iraq and Persia) and South/Southeast Asia.

Al-'Abbasiyya (Arabic: العبْاسِيّة), also known as al-Yahudiya (Arabic: اليهودية), was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jaffa Subdistrict. It was attacked under Operation Hametz during the 1948 Palestine War, and finally depopulated under Operation Dani. It was located 13 km east of Jaffa. Some of the remains of the village can be found today in the centre of the modern Israeli city of Yehud.

Judah (Hebrew: יְהוּדָה‎, Modern: Yəhūda, Tiberian: Yŭhūḏā) was, according to the Book of Genesis, the fourth of the six sons of Jacob and Leah and the founder of the Tribe of Judah of the Israelites. By extension, he is indirectly the eponym of the Kingdom of Judah, the land of Judea, and the word Jew. According to the narrative in Genesis, Judah alongside Tamar is the patrilineal ancestor of the Davidic line. The Tribe of Judah features prominently in Deuteronomistic history, which most scholars agree was reduced to written form, although subject to exilic and post-exilic alterations and emendations, during the reign of the Judahist reformer Josiah from 641 to 609 BCE. According to the Christian narrative, he was the ancestor of Jesus.
