Vila Nova da Barquinha

Arripiado is a village in the Parish of Carregueira in the northern county of Chamusca near the southern bank of the River Tagus in Portugal. It is in this town that the wetland of Ribatejana begins. The Roman ruins of Villa Cardillio (Portuguese: Ruinas romanas de Vila Cardílio) is an archaeological site located in central Portugal. Situated in the rural civil parish of Santa Maria, it is located approximately 3 km from the centre of the municipal seat of Torres Novas. Receiving its name from a mosaic pavement onsite, the specific translation of piece is still unclear, but assumed that the site was owned by a couple. The ruins were first excavated in 1962, yielding hundreds of coins and well as ceramics, bronze works, Assyrian and Egyptian glass works. Also revealed were some jewellery and a statue of Eros.

The Zêzere (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈzezɨɾɨ]) is a river in Portugal, tributary to the Tagus. It rises in the Serra da Estrela, near the Torre, the highest point of continental Portugal. The Zêzere runs through the town Manteigas, runs through Belmonte, passes south of the city of Covilhã and east of the town of Pedrogão Grande. It flows into the Tagus in Constância. It is the second longest river entirely within Portuguese territory (the Mondego being the longest). Its slope allows for the hydroelectric powerplants of Cabril, Bouçã and Castelo de Bode.

Constância is a parish (freguesia) in the municipality of Constância in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 993, in an area of 8.83 km². It was originally named Punhete.

Torres Novas (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈtoʁɨʒ ˈnɔvɐʃ] ) is a Portuguese municipality in the district of Santarém, in the Médio Tejo of the Centro region. The population of the municipality was approximately 36,717 (from the 2011 census), in an area that encompasses 270 square kilometres (100 sq mi). The city of Torres Novas proper (seat of the municipality) has about 15,000 inhabitants in an area located within the municipality.

The Nabão (Portuguese pronunciation: [nɐˈbɐ̃w]) is a river in Portugal. It rises in Ansião and passes through the city of Tomar before joining the Zêzere River — a course of about 66 kilometres (41 mi). It was known to the Romans as Nabanus. The swift waters of the Nabão once fed the factories of Tomar.The river is associated with the tale of Santa Iria. In 2013, development work in Tomar includes construction of road and foot bridges, promenades and gardens.
