Aroser Weisshorn

The Tschuggen is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, overlooking Arosa in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. A gondola lift and a chairlift link the top of the mountain with the town and resort of Arosa — the base station of the chairlift is near to Arosa railway station. Near the summit are located an observatory and a mountain hut.

Tschuggen Express is a funicular railway in Arosa, Switzerland. It leads from Arosa at 1850 m to Tschuggen at 2004 m in the Arosa skiing area on Tschuggen (2049 m). The single-track line with a length of 535 m has an average incline of 38% and a difference of elevation of 154 m. The two circular cabins for 6 persons each are coupled and have level compensation.The funicular is operated by Arosa Bergbahnen for the Tschuggen Hotel Group. It was completed by Steurer Seilbahnen in 2018, replacing a monorail installation from 2009 and reusing its stations.

Arosa Lenzerheide is a ski area located in Arosa, Lenzerheide, Valbella, Parpan and Churwalden, Graubünden/Switzerland. It originated 2013/14 by connecting the existing ski areas of Arosa and Lenzerheide. With a total of 225 kilometers (140 miles) of ski slopes and 43 cable cars it is the largest contiguous ski area in Graubünden.

The Plessur Region is one of the eleven administrative districts in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It had an area of 285.30 square kilometers (110.15 sq mi) and a population of 42,822 (as of 31 December 2020). It was created on 1 January 2017 as part of a reorganization of the Canton.

Arosa railway station is a railway station on the Chur–Arosa railway (the "Arosabahn") of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). It is situated in the town and resort of Arosa, close by to the Obersee (one of the lakes in the vicinity). The station is the upper terminus of the line and has a number of passenger facilities including a ticket office, shop, and cafe. A 299m long tunnel takes the line under part of Arosa as it ascends to the station. There is a large yard of freight/rolling stock sidings just beyond the station at the very end of the line, as well as a 2-road locomotive shed (essentially for shunters) at the lower end.

St. Peter-Molinis railway station is a Swiss railway station on the Chur–Arosa railway (the "Arosabahn") of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). It is situated between the villages of Molinis and St. Peter, both within the municipality of Arosa, though slightly nearer to Molinis.

Plessur District (German: Bezirk Plessur, Romansh: ) is a former administrative district in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It had an area of 266.73 km2 (102.99 sq mi) and has a population of 40,707 in 2015. The former district is named after the river Plessur which crosses it. However, the region along the Plessur –and therefore the whole valley–is called Schanfigg. It was replaced with the Plessur Region on 1 January 2017 as part of a reorganization of the Canton.Plessur District consisted of three Kreise (sub-districts) Chur, Churwalden and Schanfigg, which are formed from a total of twelve municipalities:

The Älpliseehorn is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, located south of Arosa in Graubünden. It is part of the range east of the Aroser Rothorn. On the north side of the mountain lies the Älplisee.

Obersee ("upper lake") or Oberer Arosasee is the lake in the center of Arosa, a resort in the Grisons, Switzerland. The lake has a surface area of 7.1 ha (18 acres) at an elevation of 1734 m. Arosa's lower lake (Untersee) is at 1691 m.

Pagig is a village in the district of Plessur in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. An independent municipality before, it merged on January 1, 2008 with neighboring St. Peter to form the municipality of St. Peter-Pagig.

St. Peter-Pagig is a former municipality in the district of Plessur in the Grisons, Switzerland. It was formed on 1 January 2008 through the merger of St. Peter and Pagig. On 1 January 2013 the former municipalities of St. Peter-Pagig, Calfreisen, Castiel, Langwies, Lüen, Molinis and Peist merged into the municipality of Arosa.

St. Peter (Romansh: Son Peder) is a village in the district of Plessur in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. An independent municipality before, it merged on 1 January 2008 with neighboring Pagig to form the municipality of St. Peter-Pagig.
