Prospect Park School District

Sixth Avenue Bridge, aka the North Sixth Street Bridge, is a pony truss vehicular bridge over the Passaic River in northeastern New Jersey. It connects the Bunker Hill neighbourhood of Paterson and Prospect Park at the border with Hawthorne via North Sixth Street (CR 652). It was originally constructed 1907 as a steel structure supported on stone masonry piers and abutments and is one of several bridges built after the Passaic Flood of 1903. The older span opened was abruptly closed in 1986 after the Passaic County engineer at the time, Gaetano Fabrina, found that some steel beams had rusted and were "banging and clanging." In 1987, the crossing was rebuilt with temporary components which have since deteriorated. The simple panel steel-truss structure, cost $850,000 and was built in less than a year to build by the Acrow Corporation of Carlstadt. In 2015, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority granted funds to study the bridges eventual restoration or replacement.

Prospect Park is a borough in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 6,372, an increase of 507 (+8.6%) from the 2010 census count of 5,865, which in turn reflected an increase of 86 (+1.5%) from the 5,779 counted in the 2000 census.The borough of Prospect Park was formed by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 13, 1901, from portions of the now-defunct Manchester Township. The borough was named for Prospect Park, Brooklyn.It is a dry town, where alcohol cannot be sold, as affirmed by an ordinance passed in 1978.

The Straight Street Bridge is a vehicular bridge over the Passaic River in Paterson, New Jersey, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Arch Street Bridge is Parker truss bridge over the Passaic River in Paterson, New Jersey. It was built in 1907 and rehabilitated in 1997. It was the third structure built at the location within a few years, the other having been destroyed by floods in 1902 and 1903. The bridge was once a crossing for the Public Service trolley lines. A historic bridge survey conducted by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) from 1991–1994 determined that the bridge was eligible for listing on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places. In June 1995, the State Historic Preservation Office concurred. It was listed on the state register January 30, 2018 and the federal register on March 22, 2018.

River Street Station is a former train station for the Erie Railroad in Paterson, New Jersey. The station was located at the intersection of River Street and Putnam Avenue in Paterson, very close to the Passaic River. It was served by the Erie Main Line and the Newark Branch.

Goffle Brook is a tributary of the Passaic River which flows south through a section of Passaic County and Bergen County in New Jersey and drains the eastern side of the First Watchung Mountain. Heading up the brook from the confluence with the Passaic River, one encounters the borough of Hawthorne, the village of Ridgewood, the borough of Midland Park, and the township of Wyckoff.

Kossuth Street School is located in Haledon, Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. The schoolhouse was built in 1894 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 10, 1980.

The West Broadway Bridge, aka West Street Bridge and the Concrete-Metal Bridge, is a vehicular bridge over the Passaic River in Paterson, New Jersey. It carries West Broadway (CR 673), traditionally the Paterson-Hamburg Turnpike, and connects to County Route 509 at its west end. The bridge was built in 1897 and restored in 2004. The flood of 1903 caused damage or destruction of most bridges in the vicinity of Paterson; the West Street bridge survived with serious damage.The bridge is considered a nationally significant example of the Melan arch bridge technology and one of earliest and the most important concrete-steel spans in the Northeast. A historic bridge survey conducted by NJDOT from 1991–1994 determined that the bridge is eligible for listing on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places. In March 1997, the State Historic Preservation Office concurred (NJRHP #3959).

Manchester Regional High School is a comprehensive, four-year public high school and regional school district serving students in ninth through twelfth grades from Haledon, North Haledon and Prospect Park, three communities in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.The district participates in the Interdistrict Public School Choice Program, having been approved in July 2003 to participate in the program. Seats in the program for non-resident students are specified by the district and are allocated by lottery, with tuition paid for participating students by the New Jersey Department of Education.As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 811 students and 61.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.2:1. The Broadway Bus Terminal is a major local and regional bus terminal in Paterson, New Jersey operated by New Jersey Transit. It is located on Broadway between Memorial Drive and West Broadway in Downtown Paterson, putting it near Passaic County Community College and a few blocks from Paterson City Hall and the Great Falls Historic District, including the Great Falls (Passaic River).

Eastern Christian High School (ECHS) is a private Christian high school located in North Haledon, in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The high school is a part of the Eastern Christian School Association which also has a middle school (ECMS) in Wyckoff, and an elementary school (ECES) and preschool in Midland Park. ECHS is home to students from middle and northern NJ as well as southern NY. ECHS also offers a one to four year middle and high school program for F-1 Visa Students.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 292 students and 27.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.6:1.
