Spire (Atlanta)

ViewPoint is a 501 ft (152m) tall skyscraper in Atlanta, Georgia. It started construction in 2006 and has 36 floors. Preston Partnership, LLC designed the building and Novare Group developed it. Novare Group is known for having designed other buildings in the Atlanta, and specifically Midtown area, including the neighboring Spire and SkyHouse South, both of which sit on the same block of Peachtree St. The first 2 floors have 50,000 square feet (4,600 m2) of retail, which currently includes World of Beer, BB&T bank, an international hamburger chain restaurant Burgerim, a "non-fuel" QuickTrip outlet, as well as the Atlanta mid-town public safety force known as Midtown Blue A Starbucks Coffee outlet originally located in the ViewPoint was subsequently moved to another midtown location.Amenities include a pool, movie theater, pool table, gym, and two-story lounge. On the right side of the building is a courtyard, complete with fountains and walking paths with a view of Midtown. The skyscraper has 377 residential units. Parking encompasses ten stories. The first three floors of the Viewpoint parking garage are for retail parking and the seven above are residential parking. It is the 19th-tallest building in Atlanta at 501' feet in height. It is one of the tallest residential buildings in the city, and the tallest residential building in Midtown Atlanta.

The Vortex Bar and Grill is a restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, with two locations, in Midtown on Peachtree Street, originally opened in 1992, and Little Five Points, opened in 1996 and distinguished by the large "Laughing Skull" entrance. The restaurant is famous for its burgers and has been featured on Season 1 of the Travel Channel's Man vs. Food.More recently, the Midtown location has also become the home of the Laughing Skull Lounge, a small comedy club and theatre.

903 Peachtree is a high-rise residential building that is currently under construction in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Proposed by CA Ventures in 2018, the building would rise 32 stories at the intersection of Peachtree Street and Eighth Street in Midtown Atlanta. Solomon Cordwell Buenz will serve as the building's architect.

Saint Mark United Methodist Church is a United Methodist Church in midtown Atlanta, Georgia. The building was constructed between 1902 and 1903 by the congregation of Merritts Avenue Methodist Church after they outgrew their previous building. The architecture is notable for its use of Stone Mountain granite, triple entrance portal, and pot-metal stained-glass windows. The building is one of the few Gothic Revival granite churches in Atlanta. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is also designated as a historic building by the City of Atlanta.

The Atlanta Biltmore Hotel and Biltmore Apartments is a historic building located in Atlanta, Georgia. The complex, originally consisting of a hotel and apartments, was developed by William Candler, son of Coca-Cola executive Asa Candler, with Holland Ball Judkins and John McEntee Bowman. The original hotel building was converted to an office building in 1999. The building is currently owned by the Georgia Institute of Technology and is adjacent to Technology Square.

The Academy of Medicine in midtown Atlanta, Georgia, was built in 1941 and housed the Medical Association of Atlanta until the 1970s. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is also designated as a historic building by the City of Atlanta. It is currently owned by the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The Margaret Mitchell House is a historic house museum located in Atlanta, Georgia. The structure was the home of author Margaret Mitchell in the early 20th century. It is located in Midtown, at 979 Crescent Avenue. Constructed by Cornelius J. Sheehan as a single-family residence in a then-fashionable section of residential Peachtree Street, the building's original address was 806 Peachtree Street. The house was known as the Crescent Apartments when Mitchell and her husband lived in Apt. 1 on the ground floor from 1925 to 1932. While living there, Mitchell wrote the bulk of her Pulitzer Prize-winning 1936 novel, Gone with the Wind.The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is also designated as a historic building by the City of Atlanta. This house serves as the heart of Atlanta History Center's Midtown Campus and it houses permanent exhibitions that focus on various topics surrounding the building's history.

Commercial Row is a single-story brick building originally constructed in 1923. It consists of seven retail units or spaces historically occupied by individual tenants. The building is located at the corner of Peachtree Street, Peachtree Place and Crescent Avenue in the Midtown neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia.The building is today collectively numbered as 990 Peachtree Street, although the individual tenant spaces each have their own addresses, including 988 Peachtree Street, 90 Peachtree Place, and 92 Peachtree Place. Commercial Row was built at a time when retail and residential development were reaching northward towards what is today known as Midtown, from Downtown Atlanta. The building represents both the unique character of Atlanta's development northward along the city's main thoroughfare, Peachtree Street, as well as the establishment of distinct neighborhoods outside the city center in the 1920s. Over the years, tenants in the building have included grocers, restaurants and small retail stores. One of Atlanta's few remnants of that age of early development, Commercial Row sits on its original site and retains a high degree of structural integrity. As continuing commercial development removes traces of this earlier time of neighborhood community at the Tenth Street intersection, Commercial Row represents what the Peachtree Street corridor from Fifth to Fourteenth Streets looked like before massive redevelopment of the area in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. The building was designated a City of Atlanta Historic Building Site in 2008. Currently it is owned by the Atlanta History Center and is operated as part of the Atlanta History Center Midtown, which also includes the Margaret Mitchell House. Part of the building is used for programs and exhibits, while other portions are leased to commercial tenants including a restaurant and a grocer.

Midtown is an underground metro station in Atlanta, Georgia, serving the Red and Gold lines of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. Located in Midtown Atlanta, 5,644 daily fares were collected at the gates as of 2013. It provides access to the Midtown business and financial district, The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Margaret Mitchell House, Georgia Tech, and Piedmont Park. It provides connecting bus service to Cumberland Mall, Georgia Tech, Emory University, Emory Decatur Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, The District at Howell Mill, Atlanta Medical Center, Ansley Mall, Lindbergh Center, Atlanta Botanical Garden, and Turner Broadcasting headquarters.

Ten Peachtree Place is a high-rise class A office building in midtown Atlanta, Georgia. The building was designed by Michael Graves and completed in 1989. It currently serves as the headquarters for Southern Company Gas. The building is notable for its 30 ft (9.1 m) high arch and red granite exterior that contrasts with the building's dark windows.
