Doncaster Racecourse (also known as the Town Moor course) is a racecourse in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. It hosts two of Great Britain's 36 annual Group 1 flat races, the St Leger Stakes and the Racing Post Trophy.

Wheatley means wheat fields in Old English, located at the eastern end of the central ridge that runs through most of the town. The surrounding region was often flooded in the times before the River Don was rerouted and extra drainage channels dug, and lies on the old floodplain of the Don, which peaked at today's Thorne Road. Originally the suburb was part of the Wheatley, but due to the expansion of housing during the post-war era and boundary changes, Wheatley Hills became a separate area in its own right.

The ward was formed in 2015.

The Intake Ground was a football ground in Doncaster in England. It was the home ground of Doncaster Rovers between 1885 and 1919, and is still used today as a football field.

Belle Vue was a football stadium in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, that served as the home ground of Doncaster Rovers from 1922 to 2007. The ground was affectionately known as "Old Belle Vue" (OBV) by fans and at its peak had a total capacity of 40,000.

It was the location of the home ground of Doncaster Rovers F.C. and the Doncaster Lakers RLFC, until 2007 (when the new Keepmoat Stadium replaced it. It had the 3rd biggest pitch in England at the time, and the pitch was in good state. In the 2005–06 season Doncaster had knocked out Aston Villa and Manchester City on this pitch in the League Cup.The old ground was known as Belle Vue, but following commercial sponsorship (for the 2004–05 season) it was known as the Earth Stadium. The stadium was demolished in 2007.

Wheatley is an inner suburb of Doncaster, in South Yorkshire, England. It lies immediately north-east of the centre of Doncaster, mostly south of the A630 dual carriageway. It is bounded to the north by the River Don, to the east by Wheatley Hills, and to the south by Intake. Until 1974 it was in the West Riding of Yorkshire. There are numerous new housing and retail developments currently under construction to the north of the A630, opposite the Wheatley Centre shopping park.

Town Fields is a large area of public land in Intake, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. It was historically used by Hall Cross School in Doncaster.

The South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum (SYAM) is a Volunteer led museum located at Lakeside in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. It occupies the former site of the Royal Air Force Station, RAF Doncaster. The museum occupies the last remaining original buildings from RAF Doncaster in the shape of a Bellman hangar, two wooden Air Ministry 'Billet Huts' (Buildings 19 and 21) and various smaller structures. The museum has also erected an more modern ex Air Training Corps Cadet Hut alongside Building 21 to house its World War Two Collection. The museum is also home to the Yorkshire Helicopter Preservation Group (YHPG) which relocated from the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington, near York in July 2002. The YHPG display their collection of helicopters among the other SYAM exhibits and have an on-site workshop for continued restoration of their aircraft.

Royal Air Force Doncaster or more simply RAF Doncaster, also referred to as Doncaster Aerodrome, is a former Royal Air Force station near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England.
