Nielsen Gallery is a commercial art gallery originally located on Newbury Street in the Back Bay area of Boston, United States. Founded in 1963 by Nina Nielsen and John Baker, the gallery won “Best Show in a Commercial Gallery in the United States,” prizes from the International Association of Art Critics, in 2005 and 2009.Originally a frame shop that also sold Japanese prints, they began to exhibit paintings in 1973. During the 46 years that the gallery was open in its original building, and also in its current online and by-appointment incarnation, it has showcased and supported contemporary American artists, especially those creating experimental and avant-garde work. The gallery's spirit was described by Artdeal Magazine as "the warmest, most intense, most powerful and inspirational art experience north of Manhattan.”Artists featured through the gallery have included Jackson Pollock, Joan Snyder, Dexter Lazenby, Nathalie Miebach, James Cambronne, Albert York, Arthur Dove, Marsden Hartley, Jake Berthot, John Walker, Bill Jensen, Anne Harris, Sedrick Huckaby, Gregory Amenoff, and John Lees.

A bronze bust of congressman and Boston Mayor Patrick Collins is installed along Boston's Commonwealth Avenue, in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. The memorial was dedicated in 1908 and relocated in 1966. It features a bust of Collins on a granite base flanked by two bronze female statues representing America and Ireland. The figures are approximately 7 ft. 6 in. tall and 2 ft wide, and the base measures approximately 11 ft. 6 in. x 10 ft. 1 in. x 6 ft. 8 in. The work was surveyed by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1993.

Bay State College (Bay State or BSC) is a private for-profit college in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Trinity Rectory is an historic building at the corner of Clarendon Street and Newbury Street in Boston, Massachusetts. It is a brick building built in 1880 by Henry Hobson Richardson and features flower-shaped reliefs carved directly into the brick exterior. The building was added to the National Historic Register in 1972.Traditionally the residence of the rector of the Trinity Church, Boston, it has now been renovated to church office space when the current rector decided to live in a private residence.

The Hotel Vendome Fire Memorial commemorates victims of the Hotel Vendome fire. It is installed along Boston's Commonwealth Avenue Mall, in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. The work was designed by the artist Ted Clausen and landscape architect Peter White. A group of firefighters originally proposed the memorial in 1982, but it was not initially approved by the Boston Arts Commission. The rejected proposal led to claims that the affluent residents of Back Bay had thwarted the proposal out of snobbery, regarding the design as "tacky." The Boston Globe columnist Mike Barnicle attributed the obstruction to the "elitism and self-importance" of those in the neighborhood. The design was finally approved in 1995 and ground was broken the following year.

The Chilton Club is a private social club established in 1910, in the Back Bay area of Boston, Massachusetts. Founded by Pauline Revere Thayer, the club was intended in part as a counterpoint to the Mayflower Club. The club was named after Mary Chilton because she had been the first woman to step out of the Mayflower. The club occupies a large red brick building on Commonwealth Avenue, designed in 1870 by architect "Henry Richards of the firm of Ware and Van Brunt." (However, some claim the building was designed by architects Peabody and Stearns.) The building has been altered and expanded over the years."On May 18, 1910, the Chilton Club applied for (and subsequently received) permission to significantly remodel and expand the house, including removing the original third floor, with its mansard roof, and adding three additional floors, two of brick and the third "in roof." They also received permission to construct an addition at the rear, 38 feet by 18 feet 9 inches, five stories high above the basement, four of brick and one "in roof." The Club retained the firm of Richardson, Barott, and Richardson, and the work was overseen by F. L. W. Richardson, son of the noted architect Henry Hobson Richardson. The addition was completed in February 1911. ... On May 28, 1926, the Club acquired 150 Commonwealth, which had remained in the Baker Estate until the previous year. Copley station is an underground light rail station on the MBTA Green Line, located in the Back Bay section of Boston, Massachusetts. Located in and named after Copley Square, the station has entrances and exits along Boylston Street and Dartmouth Street. Copley station opened in 1914 as part of the Boylston Street subway. The station is accessible following extensive station renovation completed in 2011. The renovation project was subject to a significant court case regarding the project's effects on the Old South Church.

A statue of painter John Singleton Copley by Lewis Cohen is installed in Boston's Copley Square, in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. The bronze sculpture was installed in 2002.

The Muriel Sutherland Snowden International School at Copley (formerly Copley High School) is a public high school located in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Its international-themed curriculum was introduced by the school's namesake, Muriel S. Snowden, in 1983. The school was renamed after Snowden in 1988. As a part of the international-themed curriculum, students are required to take four years of a foreign language: (Spanish, French, Chinese, or Japanese). In addition to the language component, Snowden International School has the goal of having twenty five percent of each student class take part in exchange/immersion programs to foreign countries including China, Japan, Canada, England and Costa Rica.
