Faux is a railway station in Faux, Court-Saint-Étienne, Walloon Brabant, Belgium. It opened in 1901 on the Line 140 (Ottignies - Fleurus - Charleroi).

Walloon Brabant (French: Brabant wallon [bʁabɑ̃ walɔ̃] ; Dutch: Waals-Brabant [ˌʋaːlz ˈbraːbɑnt] ; Walloon: Roman Payis) is a province located in Belgium's French-speaking region of Wallonia. It borders on (clockwise from the North) the province of Flemish Brabant (Flemish Region) and the provinces of Liège, Namur and Hainaut. Walloon Brabant's capital and largest city is Wavre. The provincial population was recorded at 403,599 as of January 2019, giving a population density of 368/km2 (950/sq mi).

The Arrondissement of Nivelles (French: Arrondissement de Nivelles; Dutch: Arrondissement Nijvel) is an arrondissement in Wallonia and Belgium. It is the only arrondissement in the province of Walloon Brabant, and is coterminous with it. Before 1995, it was one of three arrondissements in the Province of Brabant. It is both an administrative and a judicial arrondissement, both having the same borders as the province.

Ottignies railway station (French: Gare d'Ottignies, Dutch: Station Ottignies) is a railway station in Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Walloon Brabant, Belgium.The station was opened in 1855 by the Grande Compagnie de Luxembourg, and from 1884, had a station building designed by the architect Charles Licot. This building was destroyed in 1996 and replaced by a new, modern and functional building inaugurated in 1999. In 2014, it was the second busiest station in Wallonia after Namur and before Liège-Guillemins, and the tenth-busiest in Belgium. Ottignies is an important station on the National Railway Company of Belgium (SNCB/NMBS) network. It is served by InterCity (IC), suburban (S), local (L), rush hour (P) and touristic (ICT) trains. The station is a keilbahnhof: it lies along railway line 161 (Brussels to Namur) and at the ends of railway lines 139 (Leuven to Ottignies) and 140 (Ottignies to Marcinelle). South of Ottignies, stroke line 161D goes to Louvain-la-Neuve.

The Houssière is a little river in the provinces of Namur and Walloon Brabant in Belgium, left tributary of the Orne (Scheldt basin). Its source lies between Gentinnes and Sombreffe. It traverses Villeroux and Hévillers, and flows into the Orne at Mont-Saint-Guibert.

Mont-Saint-Guibert (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃ sɛ̃ ɡibɛʁ]; Walloon: Mont-Sint-Wubert) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant. On January 1, 2012, Mont-Saint-Guibert had a total population of 7000. The total area is 18.63 km2 (7.19 sq mi) which gives a population density of 344 inhabitants per square kilometre (890/sq mi). In addition to Mont-Saint-Guibert itself, the municipality includes the villages of Corbais and Hévillers. Before the owners of Stella Artois brewery bought the business, Leffe beer was brewed in the village along with Vieux Temps. The brewery was subsequently closed and production was moved to Leuven in the Flemish part of the country. The commune is now fast developing with the arrival of many commuters who have moved from the capital city of Brussels. Les Orangeries of Bierbais is located in Hévillers, a section of the municipality of Mont-Saint-Guibert, located in the Wallonia in the province of Walloon Brabant in Belgium. The Orangeries of Bierbais were part, until the end of the 1980s, of the park of the Château de Bierbais. This part of the park, covering an area of 2.5 hectares, in the 19th century housed not only a collection of remarkable fruit and ornamental trees, but also monumental heated greenhouses of international reputation, the greenhouses of Bierbais, in the style of English gardens designed by the landscape architect Charles-Henri Petersen. Petersen lived at Bierbais until his death in 1859.Since 2019, the two remaining orangeries have been transformed into a third place hosting residences for artists and researchers as well as cultural activities, periodically open to the public.

Villers Abbey (abbaye de Villers) is an ancient Cistercian abbey located in the town of Villers-la-Ville, in the Walloon Brabant province of Wallonia (Belgium), one piece of the Wallonia's Major Heritage. Founded in 1146, the abbey was abandoned in 1796. Most of the site has since fallen into ruins.

Louvain-la-Neuve (French pronunciation: [luvɛ̃ la nœv] , French for New Leuven; Walloon: Li Noû Lovén) is a planned town in the municipality of Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Wallonia, Belgium, situated 30 km southeast of Brussels, in the province of Walloon Brabant. The town was built to house the Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) which owns the entire territory of the town; following the linguistic quarrels that took place in Belgium during the 1960s, and Flemish claims of discrimination at the Catholic University of Leuven, the institution was split into the Dutch language Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), which remained in Leuven, and the Université catholique de Louvain. To a great extent, it still lives following the rhythms of the university that is its raison d'être. However, with the construction of L'Esplanade shopping complex, the Aula Magna exhibition centre and auditorium, a large cinema complex, and five museums, it is beginning to grow beyond its academic roots.

The CECRI (Centre d'Etude des Crises et Conflits Internationaux) is a research centre at University of Louvain (UCLouvain), Belgium. Its central aim is to provide analyses and to conduct academic research on contemporary international crises and conflicts. It currently hosts 19 research members, plus associates, and the current head is Prof. Amine Ait-Chaalal.

The Faculty of Economic, Social and Political Sciences and Communication (ESPO) is a faculty of the University of Louvain, located on the campuses of Louvain-la-Neuve, FUCaM Mons and UCLouvain Charleroi. It originates in the School of Political and Social Sciences founded by Jules Van den Heuvel in Louvain in 1892. With over 6000 students, it is UCLouvain's largest faculty.

The Louvain School of Management (LSM, formerly IAG) is the international business school of the University of Louvain (UCLouvain), Belgium, founded in 1897. The faculty offers courses on the campuses of Louvain-la-Neuve, UCLouvain FUCaM Mons and UCLouvain Charleroi. The school is accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) and is the Belgian member of the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS). LSM offers Bachelor's and Master's degrees (Master in Management Science and Master in Business Engineering), PhD programs and conducts research in Economics and Management Sciences and Executive Education Programs, including an Executive Master Program in Business Administration. The core faculty comprises 55 professors (all of them having a PhD degree), and around 150 visiting faculty members from corporate world or other universities. The school is also affiliated with two research and development institutes, the Louvain Research Institute in Management and Organizations and Louvain Institute for Data Analysis and Modelling with over 100 active PhD and Post-Doctoral researchers.
