Gulleråsen (station)

Vettakollen is a station on the Holmenkollen Line (line 1) of the Oslo Metro. It is located between Skådalen and Gulleråsen. The station was opened on 31 May 1898 as part of the light rail to Holmenkollen. The station was originally opened as Greveveien, but changed its name a few months after the opening.

The local sports team is IL Heming. The mausoleum of Emanuel Vigeland is located at Slemdal. Vigeland called it Tomba Emmanuelle.

Engerjordet is a former light rail station on the Holmenkollen Line in Oslo, Norway. It opened in 1898, to serve the resident Holmenkolbanen's executives. The station had a simple wooden platform and saw limited patronage. It was closed in 1935.

Crofts under Ris farm include Trosterud and Slemdal. In 1898 the Holmenkollen Line was opened, and went past Ris. The farming area was subsequently parcelled out and built up. The area is currently served by Ris station. Ris Church, designed by Carl Berner, was inaugurated in 1932.

Ris Church (Ris kirke) is a church in Oslo, Norway. The Romanesque Revival style church is situated in a neighborhood of Ris in the borough of Vestre Aker in Oslo.The church was built in the spring of 1932 and was consecrated on 12 June 1932. The costs amounted to 723,000 Norwegian krones, including donations, for a sum of 284,000. The church originally had about 750 seats, but after a few benches in the back and the church gallery were removed it now has approximately 500 seats.Because of the shape of the plot, the Ris Church is oriented north–south, unlike most churches that are oriented west–east. The stained glass art is by artist and glass maker, Per Vigeland (1904–1968). Over the chancel of the church, hangs a figure of Christ by sculptor Sigri Welhaven. In 1932, Hugo Lous Mohr painted the altarpiece, titled Christ and the little children.Ris Church has 3 church bells dating from 1930, all of which bear the inscription Riis kirke – Anno 1930. The bells were designed by the architect Carl Berner and were forged by the Olsen Nauen Bell Foundry (Olsen Nauen Klokkestøperi) in Sem. The largest bell weighs 1746 kg and is tuned in D♯. It was at one time the largest bell that was cast in Norway. The medium-sized bell weighs 892 kg and is tuned in F♯. The smallest bell weighs 550 kg and is tuned in A♭.

Ris is a rapid transit station of the Oslo Metro's Holmenkollen Line. It is situated in the Ris neighborhood of the Oslo, Norway, borough of Vestre Aker. Located 5.2 kilometers (3.2 mi) from Stortinget, the station is served by Line 1 of the metro every fifteen minutes. Travel time to Stortinget is 11 minutes. The station opened on 31 May 1898. A shed was moved to the station in 1916. There are proposals to extend the platforms.

In the 1960s it was developed as a residential area. It is served by Midtstuen Station of the Oslo Metro. The sports venues Korketrekkeren and Midtstubakken are adjacent, but formally located in Nordmarka.

Båntjern is a tarn in the area of Oslo named Nordmarka. It is situated south of Vettakollen, a hill close to one of Oslo's suburbs. A campsite next to Båntjern offers various facilities including a place for grilling and a diving tower. The name is derived from tales of the ghosts of unbaptized children left in the woods to die alone. A trail walk continues further west of Båntjern. It leads to the top of Vettakollen, an area with views over the Oslofjord and the Bunnefjord. Southwest of Båntjern is an old mine called Riis Skjerp. One of Oslo's most popular walking trails passes Båntjern. It is approximately 20 km (12 mi) from Ankerveien to Bærums Verk.

Midtstuen is a station on the Holmenkollen Line (Line 1) on the Oslo Metro, between Skådalen and Besserud. It is the lower end of the popular tobogganing course Korketrekkeren. Midtstuen is located at an altitude of 223.3 meters (733 ft).
