Løkeberg is a district in the municipality of Bærum, Norway. Its population (2007) is 4,568.

Haslum is a station on the Kolsås Line on the Oslo Metro. It is between Avløs and Gjønnes, 13.0 kilometers (8.1 mi) from Stortinget. It serves the neighborhood Haslum. The station was opened 1 July 1924 as part of the tramway Lilleaker Line.Along with most of the line, Haslum closed for upgrades on 1 July 2006 and its service was temporarily provided by bus. Haslum among other things, received longer platforms which can accommodate trains with up to six cars like most of the subway system. It reopened on 15 December 2013.

Dælivannet is a lake in Bærum, Akershus county, Norway. It lies just beneath the Kolsås hill on the East side. The lake contains perch and pike and has a rich bird life. The lake has been the subject of paintings and sketches by many significant artists including, Claude Monet, Eilif Peterssen and Christian Skredsvig (1854–1924), whose painting Seljefløiten shows a boy playing the flute by the South-East side of Dælivannet.

Blommenholm is a district in the municipality of Bærum, Norway. Its population (2007) is 2,936.It is served by the train station Blommenholm on the Drammen Line.

Blommenholm Station (Norwegian: Blommenholm stasjon) is a railway station of the Drammen Line situated at Blommenholm in Bærum, Norway. Located 12.23 kilometres (7.60 mi) from Oslo Central Station, it is served by line L1 of the Oslo Commuter Rail. It is located in a primarily residential area and has four regular hourly services operated by Vy. The station features an island platform accessible from the station building on the south side. The station opened on 10 May 1910, following the construction of housing in the vicinity. It received major upgrade from 1917 to 1922, when an all-new station building and the railway was doubled, electrified and gauge converted to standard gauge. This gave a thirty-minuted headway to Oslo and Sandvika. Blommenholm was staffed until 1969 and previously featured a post office.

Solbergbakken was a K60 ski jumping hill located at Valler (Gjettum) in Bærum, Norway and owned by Bærums SK.

Valler is a former station on the Kolsås Line of the Oslo Metro. It was located between Gjettum and Avløs, 14.8 kilometers (9.2 mi) from Stortinget. The station opened on 1 January 1930 as part of the tramway Lilleaker Line.Along with most of the line, Valler has been closed for upgrades since 1 July 2006 and its service is temporarily provided by bus. The line reopened on 12 October 2014, but it was decided that Valler would not reopen. Instead, Gjettum station was moved closer to Valler. Gjettum, among other things, received longer platforms which can accommodate trains with up to six cars like most of the subway system.

The Bærum Tunnel (Norwegian: Bærumstunnelen) is a 5.5-kilometer (3.4 mi) long double track railway tunnel in Bærum, Norway. Running between Marstranderveien and Engervannet, it makes up most of the 6.7-kilometer (4.2 mi) long section of the Asker Line between Lysaker Station and Sandvika Station, which was taken into use on 26 August 2011. The tunnel was constructed from 2007 using the drilling and blasting method with three crosscuts. The tunnel has two tracks, is electrified and allows for maximum speeds of 160 kilometres per hour (99 mph). The whole section between the stations is estimated to cost 2.7 billion Norwegian krone (NOK). The tunnel accelerates intercity and regional traffic west of Oslo and frees up capacity for the Oslo Commuter Rail.

Øverlandselva is a river that flows through Bærum, Norway. It starts near Øverland in northern Bærum, at the confluence of the creeks Seternbekken and Ilabekken. It runs south and southwest, emptying into the eastern side of Engervannet at Blommenholm. A river runs from Engervannet and flows into Sandvikselva, but this portion is called Rønneelva.

Øverland is an area in Bærum, Norway. Named after the local farm, Øverland is also known as a recreational area and for its arboretum. It has lent its name to the river Øverlandselva.

It is situated between Avløs and Gjønnes. Haslum is noted for Haslum Church (Haslum kirke) its medieval parish church, which is surrounded by a historic cemetery.

Ramstad Station (Norwegian: Ramstad holdeplass) was a railway station situated at Ramstad in Bærum, Norway, on the Drammen Line. The station, located 10.40 kilometers (6.46 mi) from Oslo West Station, was served by Oslo Commuter Rail trains of the Norwegian State Railways. Ramstad opened on 1 November 1931 with two simple side platforms. Ticket sales remained until 1964. The station was one of several closed on 3 July 1973 as part of a service upgrade to speed up local trains on the Drammen Line.
