Ginegar (Hebrew: גִּנֵּיגָר), is a kibbutz in northern Israel not far from Nazareth. Located near Migdal HaEmek, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 666.

Migdal HaEmek (Hebrew: מִגְדַּל הָעֶמֶק, lit. Tower of the Valley, also officially spelt Migdal HaEmeq, Arabic: مجدال هعيمق) is a city in the Northern District of Israel. In 2021 it had a population of 26,029. There is a tower to the north-east, above the town.

Mizra (Hebrew: מִזְרָע, lit. Sowing) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located between Afula and Nazareth, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 792.

Al-Mujaydil (Arabic: المْجيدل (also: al-Mujeidil) was an Arab-Palestinian village located 6 km southwest of Nazareth. Al-Mujaydil was one of a few towns that achieved local council status by the Mandatory Palestine government. In 1945, the village had a population of 1,900 and total land area of 18,836 dunams – mostly Arab-owned. The population was partly Christian and the town contained a Roman Catholic church and monastery. After the 1948 depopulation of Palestine, it was destroyed and overbuilt by Migdal HaEmek.

Yafa an-Naseriyye (Arabic: يافة الناصرة, "Jaffa of Nazareth", also Yafa, Kfar Yafia or Yafi Arabic: يافا, يفيع, Hebrew: יָפִיעַ) is an Arab town in the Lower Galilee, Israel. It forms part of the metropolitan area of Nazareth, also an Arab locality. Declared a local council in 1960, it had a population of 19,538 in 2021, approximately 70% of whom were Muslim and 30% Christian.

The Max Stern Yezreel Valley College (Hebrew: המכללה האקדמית עמק יזרעאל ע״ש מקס שטרן) is an academic college located in the Jezreel Valley (Galilee region) of Israel, between the cities Afula and Nazareth, and next to Kfar Gid'on, Tel Adashim and Mizra. Founded in 1965 as Emek Yezreel College, Max Stern College later served as a regional branch of University of Haifa from 1973 to 1994. In 1994 the Israel Council for Higher Education gave accreditation to Max Stern College as an independent academic institution capable of granting bachelor's degrees. The college offers BA degrees to some 5,000 students in a diverse array of fields, including Economics, Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences, Communication Studies, Human Services, Health Administration, Nursing Studies and General Studies. The college is named after Max Stern, whose son Leonard N. Stern gave a monetary gift in his name when he died.

Kfar Gidon (Hebrew: כְּפַר גִּדְעוֹן, lit. Gideon Village) is a moshav in northern Israel. Located near Afula, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 351.

Migdal Ohr (Hebrew: מגדל אור, lit. Tower of Light) is one of Israel's largest NGO's. The main and additional two residential campuses along with 160 youth clubs provide educational frameworks and social guidance for over 10,000 children and teenagers from underprivileged and dysfunctional homes across Israel every day. Migdal Ohr also runs community social programs, adult education programs, prisoner rehabilitation programs and soup kitchens that prepare 15,000 meals a day.Migdal Ohr has three residential campuses and 160 youth clubs.Migdal Ohr was founded by Israel Prize laureate Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman in 1972. The school began with 18 students. Since then, over 15,000 youngsters have graduated from the Migdal Ohr, an institution that provides needy and immigrant children with housing, schooling, medical and dental care, clothing, libraries, after school enrichment courses and vocational training.

Tel Adashim (Hebrew: תֵּל עֲדָשִׁים, lit. Lentils Hill) is a moshav in northern Israel. Located between Nazareth and Afula, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,528.

Sarid (Hebrew: שָׂרִיד) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located near Migdal HaEmek, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 875.

Qafzeh Cave, also known by other names, is a prehistoric archaeological site located at the bottom of Mount Precipice in the Jezreel Valley of Lower Galilee south of Nazareth. Important remains of prehistoric people were discovered on the site - some of the oldest examples in the world, outside of Africa, of virtually anatomically modern human beings. These were discovered on the ledge just outside the cave, where 18 layers from the Middle Paleolithic era were identified. The interior of the cave contains layers ranging from the Neolithic era to the Bronze Age.

The Jezreel Valley railway, or the Valley Train (Hebrew: רַכֶּבֶת הָעֵמֶק, Rakevet HaEmek ; Arabic: خط سكة حديد حيفا – درعا, romanized: khaṭṭ sikkat ḥadīd Ḥayfa–Dar‘a) was a railroad that existed in Ottoman and British Palestine, reconstituted as a modern railway in Israel in the 21st century. It runs from the Mediterranean coast inland along the length of the Jezreel Valley. The historical line was a segment of the longer Haifa–Dera'a Line, which was itself a branch of the larger Hejaz railway. The historical Haifa–Dera'a line was built at the beginning of the 20th century and connected the Port of Haifa with the main part of the Hejaz railway, the Damascus–Medina line. Like the entire Hejaz railway, it was a 1,050 mm (3 ft 5+11⁄32 in) narrow gauge line. The last stop of the Haifa–Dera'a line within the Mandate Palestine borders was at al-Hamma, today Hamat Gader. Planning and construction took four years. The railway was inaugurated on October 15, 1905, and regular services operated on it until 1948. Despite several renewal attempts, the line lay dismantled for decades until 2011 when construction started on a large-scale project to build a new 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in) standard gauge railway from Haifa to Beit She'an along roughly the same route as the historic valley railway. Israel Railways began passenger service on the new valley railway on October 16, 2016.
