Tiverton Four Corners Historic District

The Cook–Bateman Farm is a colonial-era farmstead located at the intersection of Fogland, Puncatest Neck (or Neck) and Pond Bridge Roads in Tiverton, Rhode Island. The property was initially purchased in 1700 and reached its largest size, 200 acres (81 ha), in the last 25 years of the 18th century. It currently encompasses 63 acres (25 ha) of rolling farmland.The focal point of the farmstead is the 2 1/2 story house,, the oldest portion of which dates to c.1730–48, while the north kitchen was constructed or rebuilt c.1812-20. Both are now covered by the Second Empire high mansard rook, which was added c.1870. Also on the property is a gambrel-roofed frame barn dating from the late 19th or early 20th century; a two-story hip-roofed frame structure which might be the oldest building in the farmstead, possibly a heabily-altered original farm building from c.1700; a "farmers house"; and a number of other smaller outbuildings. The property, which has evidence of earlier Native American occupation, including arrowheads and stone tools found in the fields, was purchased by John Cook in 1700, and remained in the hands of just two families for more than 200 years, until 1977.The farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Its official community of license is Newport, Rhode Island, but from a tall tower in Tiverton the signal covers most of Rhode Island and the South Coast of Massachusetts. It also has repeater stations WNPE (102.7 FM) in Narragansett Pier and WPVD (1290 AM and 102.9 FM) in Providence. The network provides the sole local public radio outlet for Rhode Island.

WKKB (100.3 FM, "Latina 100.3") is a radio station in Middletown, Rhode Island, United States. The station airs a Tropical format, which consists of such musical styles as salsa and merengue and some reggaeton. Its transmitter is located in Middletown. Its offices and studios are located in 75 Oxford Street in Providence, while its transmitter is located in Tiverton. Prior to its switch to Tropical, the station was a rock station.

The William Whalley Homestead is an historic farmstead in Little Compton, Rhode Island. The main house is a 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, probably built sometime between 1815 and 1830. The property includes a late 19th century gabled barn and a stone and wood outbuilding, and is bounded by a low stone wall. The main house is a fairly typical Cape style house, five bays wide, with a central chimney. The property as a whole is a well-preserved example of a typical 19th-century farmstead in the area.The homestead was listed on the National Historic Register in 1988.

The Friends Meeting House and Cemetery is a historic Quaker meeting house and cemetery at 228A W. Main Road in Little Compton, Rhode Island. The meeting house is a two-story wood-frame structure built in 1815 by the Religious Society of Friends, commonly known as Quakers, on the site of their first meeting house built in 1700 on land granted to John Irish. The new meeting house used some materials from the original one. It was then modified in 1870.The meeting house was used by Quakers until 1903, and was maintained by members of the Apponegansett Meeting House in Dartmouth, Massachusetts until 1946, when it was donated to the Little Compton Historical Society. It was the Society's first acquisition, and was subjected to a careful restoration beginning in 1963 to restore it to the condition it was in during 1815. The cemetery, designated Rhode Island Historic Cemetery No. 7, is approximately a 71 foot by 41 foot (21.64m x 12.5m) rectangle located to the east (rear) of the meeting house. The earliest dated burials are from 1714 and 1729, and the latest is from 1903. There are 18 inscribed headstones in total, plus multiple uninscribed fleldstone and slate headstones.The meeting house and cemetery were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

The First Baptist Church of Tiverton, commonly called the Old Stone Church, is a historic church property at 7 Old Stone Church Road in Tiverton, Rhode Island. The property consists of a cluster of buildings, including a church, parsonage, and parish house, along with a cemetery, on a largely wooded parcel of 38 acres (15 ha). The timber-framed field stone church building was built in 1841, the parsonage in 1885, and the parish house c.1879. The oldest documented cemetery burials are from the mid-19th century. Portions of the property are lined by period stone walls, including some that delineate former fields (now wooded) that would have been farmed by the minister. The church was built by a congregation whose roots date to 1680, making it one of the oldest Baptist congregations in the United States.The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The Quaket River is a tidal inlet, in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It flows approximately 1 km (.6 mi) from the mouth of Nannaquaket Pond into the Sakonnet River. It is located entirely within the town of Tiverton, Rhode Island.

The Fort Barton Site is the site of an historic American Revolutionary War fort, now located in a public park at Lawton and Highland Avenues in Tiverton, Rhode Island. All that remains of the fort are its earthworks, a roughly oblong structure about 150 feet (46 m) long and 100 feet (30 m) deep. The site was a defensive post overlooking the main ferry crossing between Tiverton and Aquidneck Island, which was under British control at the time of its construction in 1777. The ferry was used as a launching position for American forces during the Battle of Rhode Island in August 1778. The site was named after Lt. Col. William Barton who successfully captured the British General Prescott during a midnight raid on the British headquarters at Prescott Farm in what is now Portsmouth.Fort Barton was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

William E. Tolman Senior High School (originally Pawtucket Senior High School, changed to Pawtucket East High School, then William E. Tolman Senior High School) is one of three public high schools located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States. It was built and opened in 1926 (Monahan & Meikle, architects) along the east bank of the Blackstone River as a "state of the art" educational facility. The building originally consisted of four floors and a basement, 60 class rooms, a 1,300-seat auditorium, a swimming pool, and a nursery for the children of teenage mothers. The swimming pool was closed in 2018 due to several repairs made and it still leaked. The nursery was closed around 2012 in order for Rhode Island’s only MCJROTC to use the area in the basement. Tolman High School is the first multimillion-dollar high school east of the Mississippi and the gym is the oldest high school gym in Rhode Island that is still in use. The school has been remodeled several times with the most recent being in 1980.The school's pool was also featured in the film Mermaids and the school is in some scenes of the film Moonstruck.

Adamsville, Rhode Island is a historic village in Little Compton, Rhode Island. It was first settled in 1675 around the time of King Philip's War and was named after the second president of the United States, John Adams.

Greenvale Farm is an historic farm and 19th-century summer estate at 582 Wapping Road in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Historically used for farmland, a portion of this 53-acre (21 ha) was transformed into an expansive country estate in the 1860s by John Barstow, a Boston merchant. It is located at the end of a narrow dirt lane, and is set overlooking the Sakonnet River. The main house, designed by John Hubbard Sturgis and built in 1864–65, is an exuberant implementation of the Stick style with Gothic features. It has asymmetric form, with a variety of projections, dormers, gables, and cross-gables, with a variety of exterior finishes. The estate continues to be owned by Barstow descendants.The estate was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
