Quaket River

The Fort Barton Site is the site of an historic American Revolutionary War fort, now located in a public park at Lawton and Highland Avenues in Tiverton, Rhode Island. All that remains of the fort are its earthworks, a roughly oblong structure about 150 feet (46 m) long and 100 feet (30 m) deep. The site was a defensive post overlooking the main ferry crossing between Tiverton and Aquidneck Island, which was under British control at the time of its construction in 1777. The ferry was used as a launching position for American forces during the Battle of Rhode Island in August 1778. The site was named after Lt. Col. William Barton who successfully captured the British General Prescott during a midnight raid on the British headquarters at Prescott Farm in what is now Portsmouth.Fort Barton was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Sin and Flesh Brook is a stream in Rhode Island, United States. It and all tributaries are entirely within the town of Tiverton.

Tiverton is a town in Newport County, Rhode Island, United States. The population was 16,359 at the 2020 census.

The Stone Bridge was a bascule bridge that carried Rhode Island Route 138 over the Sakonnet River between Portsmouth and Tiverton. The span was built in 1907, replacing an earlier wooden bridge. It was severely damaged by Hurricane Carol in 1954, and replaced in 1956 by the Sakonnet River Bridge.

Sakonnet River Bridge is a four-lane bridge spanning the Sakonnet River in eastern Rhode Island. The bridge carries RI 24 and RI 138 between the communities of Portsmouth and Tiverton, Rhode Island. The current bridge is a box girder bridge that opened in 2012 at a cost of $120 million (USD). The previous bridge was a truss bridge that was built in 1956 and demolished in 2012 due to structural deficiencies. The truss bridge had previously served as a replacement for the Stone Bridge, about 0.8 miles (1.3 km) to the south. It became part of RI 24 during the 1960s after the completion of the Portsmouth and Tiverton Expressways. At one point, it was briefly considered for inclusion as part of the never-built Interstate 895. In October 2023, Rhode Island Department of Transportation says that they will remove the rest of the bridge and they currently begin planning and design for the project in 2026. The department started demolishing the Sakonnet river bridge superstructure in 2018.

The Sakonnet River rail bridge was a swing bridge that spanned the Sakonnet River between Portsmouth and Tiverton, Rhode Island, and provided the only rail link between Aquidneck Island and the mainland. It was closed in 1988 and removed in 2006–07

The Benjamin Barker House was a historic house on Main Road in Tiverton, Rhode Island. Built c. 1850, it was a two-story wood-frame structure with an impressive Greek Temple front, with full-height fluted Ionic columns supporting a full triangular pediment. The pediment (as did the gable at the opposite end of the house) had an astylistic triple window in it. The roof was topped by an octagonal cupola with belvedere, with two narrow chimneys piercing the ridge line. It is possible the house was designed by Russell Warren, who is documented to have designed a number of other high-style Greek Revival houses in the region. The purchaser is believed to be Benjamin Barker, a lumber merchant operating in nearby Fall River, Massachusetts.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, after it was extensively destroyed by fire. It was demolished in 1981. The property it stood on, at the northwest corner of the junction of Main Road and Rhode Island Route 24, was associated with The Coachman, a restaurant, and is now the site of an assisted living facility.

The Osborn–Bennett Historic District is a residential historic district in Tiverton, Rhode Island consisting of four houses. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

WKKB (100.3 FM, "Latina 100.3") is a radio station in Middletown, Rhode Island, United States. The station airs a Tropical format, which consists of such musical styles as salsa and merengue and some reggaeton. Its transmitter is located in Middletown. Its offices and studios are located in 75 Oxford Street in Providence, while its transmitter is located in Tiverton. Prior to its switch to Tropical, the station was a rock station.

WNPN (89.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an NPR news/talk format. It is the flagship broadcast outlet for The Public's Radio (formerly known as Rhode Island Public Radio). Its official community of license is Newport, Rhode Island, but from a tall tower in Tiverton the signal covers most of Rhode Island and the South Coast of Massachusetts. It also has repeater stations WNPE (102.7 FM) in Narragansett Pier and WPVD (1290 AM and 102.9 FM) in Providence. The network provides the sole local public radio outlet for Rhode Island.

Tiverton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Newport County, Rhode Island, United States. The CDP encompasses the town center of Tiverton and the adjacent village of North Tiverton. The population of the CDP was 7,557 at the 2010 census.

Borden Farm is a historic farm at 2951 and 2967 East Main Road in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. There are five historically significant buildings on the 6.2 acres (2.5 ha) that remain of a farm that was once about 44 acres (18 ha). The property has been owned by descendants of the Borden family since the early 1700s. The main house is a c. 1865 Second Empire structure built by William Borden; there is also an English barn dating to about 1890, along with a workshop, granary, and wellhouse all dating to about 1900.The farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
