Ravensden

Church of All Saints is a Grade I listed church in Ravensden, Bedfordshire, England. It became a listed building on 13 July 1964.

Salph End is a village located in the Borough of Bedford in Bedfordshire, England. Officially, Salph End is one of the hamlets (or "Ends") of Renhold, and is the westernmost settlement within the civil parish. However, it is also one of the largest and most distinct settlements within Renhold, meaning that Salph End can be considered a separate village in its own right.

Mowsbury Hill is a 2.8 hectare Local Nature Reserve and Scheduled Monument in north Bedford. It is owned and managed by Bedford Borough Council with the assistance of the Friends of Putnoe Wood and Mowsbury Hillfort.Archaeological excavation has shown that the site is a univallate (having a single rampart) hillfort, and pottery dates to the early Iron Age, occupied for a limited period. In medieval times it was a moated settlement with two fishponds in the Manor of Morinsbury. The site is also an old orchard with a wildflower meadow, woodland, scrub, a moat and ponds.There is access from the Mowsbury Golf Course car park on Cleat Hill.

Tilwick Meadow is a 2.6-hectare (6.4-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest between Thurleigh and Wilden in Bedfordshire. It was notified in 1988 under Section 28 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, and the local planning authority is Bedford Borough Council.The meadow is on the site of a medieval village abandoned during the Black Death. It is unimproved grassland on chalk boulder clay, and it has very rich flora on a habitat now rare nationally. Grass species include red fescue and sweet vernal-grass, and there some species associated with woodland indicate that part of the area was wooded in the past. There are also ponds and ditches.There is access by a footpath from Wood End.

Mark Rutherford School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form in Bedford, England. The school is named in honour of the Bedford-born writer William Hale White (1831-1913), who used Mark Rutherford as a pseudonym. Mark Rutherford school educates pupils from age 11 through to 16. In addition, the school offers a sixth form provision for pupils age 16 to 19 wishing to study courses such as A levels. The school has a specialism in performing arts, and offers a range of courses related to the specialism.

Putnoe Wood is a 10.4 hectare Local Nature Reserve located in the Putnoe area of Bedford. It is owned by Bedford Borough Council and maintained by the council with the assistance of the Friends of Putnoe Wood and Mowsbury Hillfort.The site was purchased by the council in the mid-twentieth century. It is ancient woodland with hazel coppice in the northern half, and the ground flora has areas of bluebells. Bird species include wood pigeons, blue tits and great tits.There is access from Mowsbury Park on Wentworth Drive.

Renhold is a village and civil parish located on the River Ouse, in the Borough of Bedford, Bedfordshire, England. The parish church is situated some 4 miles (6.5 km) east-north-east of Bedford town centre. The former Bedfordshire County Council estimated the population of Renhold to be 1,800 in 2005, and forecast an increase to 2,320 by 2010. The parish is made up of several hamlets ("Ends" in local parlance) including Salph End, Church End, Lane End, Top End, Workhouse End, and Water End. In the 2000s, two new housing estates were constructed on the southern boundary of Renhold parish. The Spires and Cranbourne Gardens estates have been established off Norse Road in Bedford, with vehicular access from the Goldington area of the town. The new estates remain part Renhold village for electoral purposes. The parish is home to Renhold Chapel, All Saints Church at Church End, and the ruins of Renhold Castle. There is a country house called Howbury Hall in the southern part of the parish. It was rebuilt in 1849, and remains a private home.

Wilden is a village and civil parish located in the Borough of Bedford in Bedfordshire, England. The population of 399 in the 2011 Census was estimated at 392 in 2019.

Freeman's Common is a 12.5 hectare area of land situated to the north of Bedford, in the parish of Ravensden. It was created in 1858. Over many years it has been the focus of local dispute as to whether the site should be developed. Despite the name, it is not in fact registered as common land.

Putnoe is an electoral ward on the northern side of Bedford, England. The boundaries of Putnoe are approximately Mowsbury Park and golf course to the north, Church Lane and Haylands Way to the east, Polhill Avenue to the south, with Kimbolton Road to the west. Part of the area is also known as Woodside.
